to be completely honest, I don't want macdennis in this finale at all. i want den's plot to stay his own. i want the gang to understand just how much they rely on dennis, and how the pressure is finally wearing him down. dennis' inability to escape these high expectations from all of them. of the responsibility that he hates so much. this has been a part of his plotlines for years, and now he can't even take a day trip to the beach without the gang calling him for dumb shit. he's expected to be there to help the gang whenever they need him, but will they be there to help him?

Day 2: Maglor of @feanorianweek
Kingship
Poppy = Sloth | Manipulation
I do think Maglor mourned when Maedhros got himself captured, I just also read Maglor as a manipulative power hungry character.
He probably convinced himself that Maedhros had died and ignored everything that proved otherwise, both as a poor coping mechanism and, subconsciously, seizing the power of being a king, although he never named himself one as that would give him trouble. He differently enjoyed the power and mourned, when Maedhros came back, for the power loss. He was happy to have his brother back of course. I don´t think he spoke against Maedhros choice to give the kingship to Fingolfin, even if he wanted it himself, as he did except Fingolfin to do something stupid and get himself killed eventually, and by agreeing he seemed more "civil" and the friendliest of his brothers, which would end up giving him political power, giving people the illusion that he´s the innocent and harmless of his family.
Maedhros | Celegorm | Caranthir | Curufin | Ambarussa | Nerdanel and Feanor

HC; Dreams.
The act of letting his mind weave together this pool of his experiences, dashed with internal thought, expanded with the gracious hand of the unknown is a lot more bizarre than he gives it credit for. There's often very little times that he actively holds a dream that can be considered normal.
One of the central essences that compose him is the Stellaron. It reached stabilization, but that doesn't prevent it from finding unconscious links with the 'family' of that energy amalgamation. So oftentimes these dreams aren't actually his own entirely. The closest way I can draw a resemblance is how the Simulated Universe acts.
He's brought to these times, lost within moments, a witness to what a Fragmentum zone does on a daily basis; copying the first hand history in a bizarre and lethal means of preserving it all.
Oftentimes it is a civilization at its heights, where joy, however questionable was obtained and kept afloat. A world's downfall, the figures who created significant impacts, it allowed him this bird's eye perception of such events. This was only better 'known' by his spirit after the phenomenon taking place with Cocolia. It heightened his sensitivity drastically when it comes to perception.
What gets Caelus so confused is just how natural it feels. It can leave him with a headache upon awakening. In other moments he can be emotionally invested to the point of tears, or a day being spoiled with more acrid feelings before it truly starts. (Both can be helped by actively getting on the move.) That doesn't change the alien sense of belonging by surrounding himself in what the Stellaron is attracted towards. Profound instances, it's wired into his head and often finds itself aligned with the state of the Trailblaze.
Outside of any particular significance with a situation at hand (like the Cocolia matter), this isn't information he's so readily open to share with others. Being perceived as the stabilizer of a Stellaron feels more comfortable than being known as some hybrid being with the essence. Not to mention, after learning these are from authentic events, a lot of these matters of Heart often get personal, and he rather give the passing figure that measure of privacy if doesn't mean the prerequisite of a danger threshold.

I'm watching a mythbusters about if a poppy bagel can make you test positive for opioids and apparently it can and not only that but this is a known problem with drug tests and some opioid tests have a false positive rate of 50% just more proof about how the war on drugs is a lie and we should abolish drug testing

ive done some spinning with milkweed fluff!! it stayed together but i had to keep it super wet to do the actual spinning. i made it into a little square and its so soft and fluffy!! but yes its very difficult to spin as the fibres are very short [i spin with a top whorl drop spindle]
Oooh, cool! Honestly I feel you're not the first person I've heard of on Tumblr spinning milkweed fluff, which makes it feel all the more wild that most online sites that mention it say its impossible???? Wild.
Out of curiosity, asides from the square, what would you find spun milkweed useful for making? I ask this not as someone who's ever spun thread or someone interested in taking it up, just as a curious passerby lol.

EWWW jeff walking you home at night because you just looked so terrified to go alone. the way your eyes seem to sparkle with relief when the odd man offers to walk with you so you felt safer, and when you did make it to your house (never even questioning or realizing that he knew which directions to take to get there) you felt like you owed him somehow and welcomed him into your home for the night. if only you had known he already planned on staying regardless of what you’d do or say.

My blog is simply a wonky little place with like 12 anamorphic blogs that occasionally interact and poke at the posts and maybe move them or stick some anamorphic blob goo and move it to their own.

Rehashing a pain point with the Horizon franchise…
Why is there no mention of any real tribal nation in the game? No reference at all. The erasure of APOLLO didn’t remove the visions at the Grove, or any of the artifacts Aloy finds in her exploration. You’re telling me it makes narrative sense to have 30 minutes of Dutch artwork analysis and its historical significance, but not a single mention of any indigenous society? There are ZERO datapoints or ruins related to native people throughout the entire world that could have influenced Horizon-era culture?
😒 SIDE EYE 😒 It is that way because the devs made it so. Everything in a narrative is a choice.
