Since I've gotten back into mass effect, I should add those guys back to the f/o list. I am rethinking my big polycule with one shepard though because I want things to be a little more plausibly sustainable. Maybe I can divide the f/os between two or more Shepards.
Wrex should definitely stick with Jin because I imagine them being a human who fights in a Krogan like way is a significant part of the appeal to him.
I also think Liara should stick with Jin since I like their nerd-thembo contrast.
Mordin is an easy one to reassign since he and Wrex can't both survive the trilogy. He could have a happier ending with a different Shepard.
While Jin is certainly a geth sympathizer, Legion might fit better with a more tech savvy Shepard who could understand them better.
Garrus and Miranda could go either way.
And I've been thinking that I might add Ashley as an f/o now too. I'm appreciating her more on my second playthrough. It probably helps that I successfully re-recruited her in ME3 this time. I don't think Jin is a good fit for her though.

Anyways. Three things I have learned about playing Guardian Signs include the following:
1. Rand, a character in the game who is a ranger, would absolutely cater to some people’s taste in fictional men (also he’s a dad.)
2. I’m probably going to make a Pokémon Ranger self insert.
3. There are literally villains/Admin characters that go by the names, Red Eyes, Blue Eyes. <- probably just admin-level codenames to not give their real identity away.

corruptcosset commission by @umlexis!! for the uninitiated corruptcosset is a polyselfship between the hacker, my partner's oc byte and my oc pixel :) by the way, they have tails now! i thought it appropriate that as imps they should have a pretty defining feature of the species.

whenever i daydream about the kruxband f/o polycule (my polyselfship with all 6 of my romantic/queerplatonic F/Os), theres interdimensional portals keeping us connected
but i also really like the idea of us making it work as a long distance relationship, despite the major time zone differences and stuff

me & krux - a bit of a struggle. he travels around for museum curator reasons (yes, hes still a museum curator after attempting world domination) and he refuses to video call or text. we send letters to each other and sometimes he sends me a postcard and a gift :]
me & rose - after i taught her how to use a phone, things are going GREAT!! she sends me tons of neat photos and messages throughout the day. we also have no issues since rose doesnt need to sleep so we can talk whenever :D
me & chick - PH is 15 hours ahead of california.... we only get to talk once hes off from work at RSN (around the time i wake up) up until its late at night for him. he usually falls asleep with his phone still on our video call. sometimes we video call when its early for him and late for me and he tries his best to keep me awake. the distance affects us the most </3
me & deano - doing good. PH is 7 hours ahead of italy, so after i eat dinner i always ask him what hes having for lunch. he also always sends nice messages for me to wake up to and i do the same for him <3333
me & akari - PH is 14 hours ahead of new mexico.... we talk a bit before her work starts at the mocharia and she has her courier job and street races at night but once shes done we have long video calls talking about whatever. then i affectionately yell at her to go to bed ^_^
me & popping candy - dont have any issues since south korea is only 1 hour ahead of PH. plus even if i lived closer to him, thered still be distance since hes an idol. but even though hes super busy, he still finds the time to talk with me!!
we also do group video calls and they are very chaotic LMAO. it usually ends with chick arguing with akari (they hate each other 😭😭)

🐈 Do you all share one big bed together or do you have different beds?
Sometimes they do, and sometimes they do not. Especially when it comes to Mordecai and Silver, sometimes they're more comfortable having their own bed to themselves, other times having the others around is a great comfort. Viktor also sometimes wants his alone time and Serafine sometimes wants to spend time with Nico, so.
🦥 In a modern setting, what job would each of you have?
I think Mordecai and Serafine would probably still invest in their bakery and candle/herb shop. But Viktor would probably be retired at this point, Zib could have an online solo act with his saxophone, and Silver might publish his writing online perhaps on the side and help Mordecai full time.

Rubs my hands together. Yes let's GO! I'm excited for these ones.
Taking the opportunity to talk about my newest polyship! King Moonracer, Tramp, and Etta.
🐪 Who confessed first? How did it go?
The King and Etta had been living on the island together for a few years before Tramp joined them, picked up from an old pile of rubbish and told he could make a home here as long as he wanted.
If you asked Tramp, he could immediately tell the two were in love, or at least greatly enjoyed each other's company. Taking it upon himself to try and create a scenario where the two would confess, he quickly started spending more time with both of them to try and learn things that would aid in his mission.
With all this quality time, and being included in their 100% platonic cuddle piles a few times, it didn't take long for the old dog to find himself catching feelings for the other permanent members of the castle. Things quickly snowballed from there, with him blurting it out during one of the aforementioned cuddle sessions. After a good bit of flustered stuttering around their words, each of their feelings came to light.
🐻 How do they show their love? Is it through gifts? Words? Quality time? Something else?
Etta loves giving and receiving gifts, whether they be extravagantly expensive or simply baking a plate of cookies before one of her partners returns home. She just loves presenting them with anything that puts a smile on their faces. She does a lot of cooking for the King, and picks up any shiny or interesting item she comes across while traveling the tundra for Tramp, who loves trinkets.
Tramp is very open about his love for his partners, expressing it loudly all the time. The other two get a little jealous, and very flustered about how detailed and charming he can be when making expressions of love. He's got a strong southern accent and uses a lot of slang, so while they might not understand every word, the meaning gets across all the same.
King Moonracer is big on acts of service, though I feel like that's quite obvious with how he travels around specifically to bring the helpless and needy back to his kingdom. Nowadays he brings along a satchel Etta made for him, filling it with ingredients for her kitchen, trinkets to fill Tramp's shelves, and beautiful jewelry they both seem to enjoy.
🐒 Who is the big spoon, middle spoon and little spoon?
King Moonracer is a big kitty who curls around both of us, we can use him like a bed!
🐈 Do you all share one big bed together or do you have different beds?
It's a big castle, so we all have our own rooms, but very commonly end up sleeping in the same bed. Or just a random place in the castle heheh.

1. what got you into proshipping?
I think it was listening to antis creating stupid dramas on the JJBA fandom, like trying to cancel Dio for "abusing" Kakyoin (it didn't happen, antis just imagined something over a scene that doesn't show anything) but they were okay with Dio making a mother eat her own baby. After that I read a lot about the proshipp/antishipp discourse and decided I was definitely a proshipper.
2. what got you into selfshipping?
I've always kind of selfshipped with a character I liked a lot, I first started on the PJ and Twilight fandoms, but kind of stopped when cringe culture started to be a thing, I was afraid of people knowing I shipped myself with a fictional character and then making fun of me, but I never truly abandoned it, I just did it in secret and then disliked what I created by imagining what would someone else say about it. I've been selfshipping more actively in recent months after I decided that I didn't care about cringe or other people's opinion, and the proshipper side was one of the main reasons I decided to participate on the selfshipping community.
15. do you polyselfship or create multiple s/is for a source?
I really create multiple S/Is for every source, and every F/O, it's kind of difficult to keep track of everything. But there are times when I want to just insert myself on the source material and polyselfship with every F/O in there, it can be considered as an AU or alternate timeline from the one with all of my S/Is.

💌 how did your polycule confess to each other? did you get together all at once or separately? were some relationships established more early than others?
Hiss confessed to Silvia during his stay in Leeds, yet he and Richard were already in a secret romantic relationship before. Because of this, he told Richard about her after getting back to Nottingham, essentially confessing to him about the princess. Surprisingly, the king was understanding and pretty excited to meet Silvia. Hiss would write her letters and show them off to Richard before they were sent, and read the letters they would receive back!
💐 what is the most common love language between all your f/os? are they quite similar in how they express their love or very different?
I think snuggling and kissing are the most common. Very touchy-feely.
☕ what are dates like for your polycule? do they/you prefer one on one dates or ones that involve multiple people?
I haven’t really thought about dates with my polyship… They just hang out together a lot, especially with the three of them living together in the castle. I suppose one date would be them taking walks around the courtyard and getting fresh air? I don’t think they need to date anymore, considering how much time they spend together. 💖

2) what got you into selfshipping?
Nothing specific, to my memory! I always did. I was 7 years old when I first developed feelings for Bowser, so it's always been a coping mechanism slash subconscious thing I do.
8) do you like creating or consuming f/o content?
Personally? No! I self-ship through imagination, plushies, and fanfictions involving unrelated ships.
9) who is a f/o you want more content of?
STRATOS. Stratos from Azure Striker Gunvolt. The series is relatively obscure on top of the fact that Stratos only had a major role in the first game. There's very little fanart out there of him, which sucks, because he's a super interesting character. I won't ramble too much about him here but as a tl;dr: mentally ill cannibalistic disheveled twink who turns into bugs. Case closed.
13) do you create self inserts to be more like you, or an idealised version of yourself?
Echoing 8, I don't self-insert. Or more accurately: I tend to self-insert and project INTO my f/o, as opposed to creating a self-insert for them to be 'in love' with. The Devil is both a kin and an f/o for me, for example. I also tend to project neurodivergence and abandonment issues into characters like Bowser, Stratos, and Vector.
15) do you polyselfship or create multiple s/is for a source?
Again, no S/Is for me, but I do polyselfship! I also polyship in general. Most of my F/Os are ones that I ship with other characters. Devildice and Powser for example. My logic always was that I just... like seeing them happy. And again, I can project into one or both characters.

with how much my brain is thinking of BOTH gl.a.d.0s And yag.orath, im scared my brain is going to "lose" glados if that makes sense. and she's super super SUPER important to me! she has helped me with. a LOT of things. and i dont wanna lose her! so yag.orth is specifically staying in the crush list. plus it's early we'll see how it goes but hnng she... both of them..... hfjsu4jkg
and i know that i can just switch things around sometimes or straight up do some polyselfship things but 1- i tried the polyselfship and that ended up not doing well (at least it helped me realize being polyam maybe isn't for me, which is nice to know!), and 2- gl.a.d.0s took over my brain so much that i never think about m.arx, he.llen, or om.ega at all anymore (they're probably gonna become platonic f/os tbh) and i really don't want yag.orath to take over like that. she probably won't but i'm just very worried hhgngn
