LeeToriGaa: Would You Love Me If I Was a Worm?
Word Count: 420 (blaze it~)
A/N: I needed to write something light and silly so I wrote a quick ficlet about my selfship answering the infamous worm question.
For newcomers here: Tori is my self-insert. She's in a throuple with Gaara and Rock Lee.

Lee burst through the penthouse door. “Tori! Gaara!”
Tori immediately dropped her pen onto her desk and raced into the hallway. Gaara, who’d been cooking dinner in the kitchen, also hurried out. “What is it? What’s wrong?” she asked.
Lee tried to answer, but he bent over, panting heavily. Sweat poured from his head as he whispered, “Sorry, I just need a second.”
Gaara immediately escorted him to the living room as Tori ran to get him some water. “You should take it easy, Lee,” Gaara murmured, helping him sit on the couch. “You’re still not used to the desert heat.”
Lee waved his hand nonchalantly. “This is nothing. Please do not worry about me.”
“Too late for that,” Tori said, pressing a cup of water in his hand. “Now, what’s got you so worked up?”
Lee gulped it down gratefully, then set the cup on the table. “Tori, Gaara, my loves…would you still love me if I was a worm?”
Tori shared a look of bewilderment with Gaara before sitting on Lee’s other side. “Lee…did you hit your head?” she asked, worriedly examining his scalp for any telltale bumps.
“What? No!” Lee said, looking indignant.
“Then…why are you asking such a nonsensical question?” Gaara asked.
“I overheard some genin discussing it while I was training,” Lee explained. “It is a very popular topic of conversation right now.”
“...I see,” Gaara replied.
“So…” Lee said, his expression pleading. “Would you?”
Tori shared a wordless conversation with Gaara, then nodded. “Of course we would.”
“Naturally,” Gaara replied. “We love you. Whatever form you take doesn’t change that.”
Lee slumped back against the sofa. “Oh thank goodness.”
Gaara blinked. “Did you think we would say no?”
Lee reddened. “I did not know!” he protested. “It would be a very stressful situation, after all! I would not be able to reciprocate your affections as a worm! And you would have to…” Lee’s nose wrinkled. “How does one even care for a worm?”
“Lee,” Tori said patiently.
Lee fell silent.
“What about the reverse?” Tori gestured to herself and Gaara. “What if we were worms? Would you still love us?”
“Absolutely!” said Lee without a moment of hesitation. “You two are my most precious people. I would love and cherish you no matter what.”
Tori chuckled, leaning into his side. “Well, it’s the same for us,” she said, playfully kissing his cheek.
Gaara nodded, resting his hand on Lee’s shoulder. “Human or worm, you’re important to us.”
Lee smiled. “Thank you,” he said softly.
