Origami Phyllobates terribilis, based in the original design by Satoshi Kamiya, modified and folded by me with a 27cm square of yellow unryu paper and black tissue paper.
I told my 90 year old grandma that she was the matriarch of the family, like Queen Hippolyta of the Amazons, and she responded by saying she was about as Amazonian as a toad. She continually by saying if she were a toad, she'd be one of those brightly colored poisonous toads.
Happy mothers day to my witty, poisonous toad grandma.
yknow what i think the doctor should make a lil pamphlet of all their most prolific enemies and hand them out to every new companion i'm tired of them getting everyone killed bc they don't know what a dalek is
im removing the mayoi (frogs in caves) bc i dont like how satori and its aesthetic was turned from something mysterious and otherwordly to yet another collectable-
so im turnign the frog idea into a single thing living in the underground as a counterpart to satori itself- perhaps it resides in a giant tree growing from the ceiling bc i ASLO didnt like how there was that at first cool looking underground tree with all the rumis (rabbit things) but then it was quite literally nothing (again)
this idea is pretty new so i am still working on the details, im all ears for suggestions :P
Which frog is well-dressed but well-armed as well?
Personally I have huge respect for someone who commits to a suit that is all one colour, and centrolenid frogs (glass frogs) commit pretty hard to that style, though with occasional polka-dots for good measure. But don't let their high fashion fool you. They are very well armed—at least for battles with each other. Many glass frogs possess fearsome humeral spines; sharp extensions of the upper arm.
