#2 is Family Gets Nicknames which is a short lil angst fic about Quinn taking Angel & Tank/Darlin' not being able to do anything about it. Technically it's unfinished but I wouldn't expect an update
#3 is The Stars Are Gone Now. It is my FAVOURITE AND YOU ALL ARE COWARDS FOR NOT LIKING IT/J. It's about Imp!Vega's death and Pet's grief. I love it more than life itself but it's pretty heavy and a lesser beloved pairing so I understand why it's not super popular.
5 - Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

6 - What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Stars are gone now. Hands down. Pets stuck in Vega's room with no idea what's going on during the rebellion. The only solace they have is the lights on the ceiling which relieve them that Vega is still alive... until he's not. (family get's nickames is kinda sad too but it was written to be more panicky. I write a lot of angst because it helps me deal with my 🌟feelings🌟)
7 -What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Mates' Night Out!!! It ends with everybody being fine and Baabe being super sexy n cool but I should give a TW for mild violence, sexual harassment and swearing <3

Once when I was like 15 and then never again. I'm no good at it.

I started writing this AU about Detective!Milo & Thief!Sweetheart that never made it past planning in gdocs but I think it would be cool to finish but I don't think I'll ever get there. There's also this one Playlist plotline I made because I wanted people to be able to see what I was thinking about when I listened to the songs. Making that into a finished fic would be cool but I don't have it in me. If you wanna read it, the link is here.
16 - What are your writing strengths?
I think my descriptions are my strong suit? I feel like my dialogue can be lacking but I feel good about my visualizations of scenes n stuff.
17 - What are your writing weaknesses?
Definitely making anything more than a one shot. I just don't have that level of commitment for something. When I write stuff it's because I'm in the moment and feeling what I'm writing. If I have to sit down and come back to it I lose my mojo.
18 - Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I'd feel way more comfortable doing if I or someone I knew understood/spoke the language. I don't trust google translate for that.

Listen. Wattpad was a place... where I wrote Good Omens things. BUT WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THE DARK TIMES.

Hi! I've been intending to do this for over a decade, so after (finally) watching the Pluto anime* I've got the motivation to at least start. As background for me - I grew up on the 2003 Astro Boy English dub, and am particularly fond of it, but I've seen the majority of the 80's anime, bits of the 60's anime, and have read all of the original manga before. I also loved the 2009/10 movie when it came out because I was like 10/11 years old, so I still kind of fondly look back on it even though it sucked in its own special way. I also love Akira Himekawa's work in general and own the 2003-based manga by them, but in Italian as it was never translated to English. Because I love that bouncy artstyle and think it suits Atom especially well, I picked one of my favorite panels for the icon ^_^
I will reread the original Astro Boy manga (in English, as that's the language I speak, sorry everyone) and analyze it as I go. I'm hoping this will be fun and give me a better connection than I already have to some of the subtler lore and story beats that I've reread so many times over the years. Also as an excuse to talk about it, even if into the void of tumblr.
The order I will be analyzing the manga in is it's order in the Dark Horse Omnibus because that's the physical copy I own. This also means that the "source" for all my comments and information is likely the supplementary text in this omnibus, or my brain, unless otherwise stated (Note: This means it may not be factual. Please correct me if something is actually wrong!). This analysis will be mostly casual but we'll see how it goes. Ideally, I will keep it to one post per chapter - If a story has multiple chapters (like the Once Upon A Time arc), it will have multiple analysis posts and at that point I will decide if it needs a separate final post or if final thoughts should be in the post of the last chapter.
I have a feeling the chronological post option may be useful to you if you plan to read the blog, but it's your life. I will be putting the manga analysis under the very creative "#astro boy manga analysis" tag for this reason.

So flamingos creep me out, idkw, but they do. Capybaras are cute, but I really didn't know what they were until recently lol. So it's gonna be owls.
What is your favorite soup?
Uhhhhh, i have no clue. Soup is not my favorite thing to begin with. And most of the ones I like are cream based and *do not* like me back.
What is your favorite…rock (idfk)?
Obsidian. I also don't know why, I usually prefer more colorful things. But polished, it's just so smooth and shiny, and you can get worry stones and magnetic beads and I just like it. And I just found out there's rainbow obsidian and omfg. I need some.
Choose a familiar:
- very dumb, very loving disobedient dog. He loves you but will never listen to you ever
- a raven that speaks but it only ever shrieks the name of various fast food restaurants
- a toad that screams like a teenage boy instead of croaks
All of these options suck. Two of them scream and therefore would not be long for this world, and the other is a dog. And one that doesn't listen at that. I would rage out on that poor dog, and they don't deserve that. I choose to forgo a familiar. Where's my cat familiar, huh?

I would love to hear anyone’s thoughts on the story! I haven’t felt this proud of any story I’ve written!
[DISCLAIMER: In any of the links to finished scenes, anything written in Red has been taken from the official Light Novels, rather than me rewriting the canon content. I basically just inserted my own canon into those moments.]
The story is currently still in progress, and I tend to write things out of order as I think of them, so for now it is broken up into a timeline format. Once everything is written, I will share it as a full fic!
Miyu is a Princess of a Kingdom off in a certain world. She has two very special friends who she has grown up with. The three of them often get into trouble together inside the castle, such as sneaking off and avoiding their responsibilities. They all dream of traveling to other worlds someday to explore. [READ]
At a young age, Miyu is sent to the Land of Departure to train under someone named Aqua. During this training, she uses her wand, but by the end of her training, Aqua bequeaths her Keyblade to her, giving her the opportunity to have one of her own in the future. (This training ends a few days before the story of Birth By Sleep)
Years pass and Miyu is more than ready to leave home, not wanting to be forced into the role of becoming queen. She continues her training on her own, hoping it would be a useful skill for when she does finally get to leave, occasionally sparring with one of her two friends, Ceri. Her other friend Leslie, on the other hand, spends some time away, learning a skill that the other two know nothing about.
When Leslie returns, they discover she was learning to fly a magical ship that allows the travel between worlds, but she was warned that it was only to be used for certain purposes. This doesn’t stop the trio, however, from wanting to use it as their way to get out. [READ]
They travel together for maybe around 2 years or so, enjoying their time away from their home and growing closer to each other in the process.
Unfortunately, while visiting one world in particular, the girls go up against a giant Heartless(or another monster. Haven’t decided yet). Miyu ends up being overly confident in her skills with her ice magic, and during one of her attacks, she slips on some ice on the ground, and leaves herself open to be attacked. Her friends jump in to protect her, but the Heartless(?) was far too strong and its attack blasted them each into separate worlds.
Miyu wakes up in the forest outside of Twilight Town, where she finds she was with a mysterious hooded man (Axel) - [READ]
Over time, the two regularly run into each other and eventually become friends, who actively seek each other out and meet up when they can. [READ]
During this time she also befriends a yellow dog with the name Pluto on his collar. She isn’t sure where he came from, but the two of them spend a lot of time together when she is alone.
During the 358/2 Days Story (Light Novel version), after Xion fails to defeat Riku, Saix orders Axel to search all the different worlds to find him, telling him he can search them in any order he chooses. After this, when talking with Miyu, he learns that she believes her friends are out in other worlds. Wanting to help her, he decides to offer to let her go on his missions with him so she can search for them. Miyu, however, doesn’t know anything about him being involved in the Organization (or what it even is for that matter) - [READ]
While searching in Agrabah, Axel notices another member is on a mission there, and since he doesn’t want anyone to see that he is letting Miyu tag along on his missions, when they aren’t supposed to be interacting with people from other worlds, he finds a way to distract Miyu, then sends his fellow member off, volunteering to do her mission for her. As it turned out, that member was actually one of the friends she was searching for! She ended up joining the Organization as their 15th member not long after the three girls were separated from each other, but since neither of them actually saw each other, Miyu had no idea they were briefly in the same place.
While searching for Miyu’s friends in Arendelle, the two start to get a little more comfortable around each other. - [READ]
During their search in the Kingdom of Corona, Miyu and Axel really start to realize how they feel about each other, but Axel has trouble believing his feelings are actually genuine. (My favorite so far!! If you read nothing else please read this one!) - [READ]
After this world visit, Miyu is sure that she has grown to have feelings for Axel, and while getting ready for their next search, she takes extra time to get ready, wanting to impress him that day. However… he doesn’t show up. (This is when Xion goes missing the first time. He had every intention of meeting up with her that day until he is sent off to find her)
From here, it gets much harder for Axel to help her, without getting her involved in all the trouble he is facing with his friends back at the Organization. He feels guilty for avoiding her, though, especially because he had also started developing feelings for her (even though he is constantly denying it to himself, thinking he isn’t actually able to feel that way.)
After going to the world of Neverland with Roxas for a mission, Axel decides it might be fun to take Miyu to this world to look for her friends. The fact that they would be able to fly would not only make it easier for their search, but he has a feeling she would really enjoy it, just like Roxas. Unfortunately, this ends up being their last world visit together, as things start to get a little messy back at the Organization with everything that happens with Xion.
To Miyu, it almost seems like Axel had disappeared for a while. She even starts to worry that he might be avoiding her.
The day Axel goes to the mansion outside of Twilight Town to retrieve Xion, Miyu happens to be in the forest and witnesses the whole thing. She chooses to keep herself hidden and not let him know she was there, as she could tell what was happening was something important that she shouldn’t get in the middle of. But while hearing some of their conversations (the light novel goes more in depth on what they say to each other while battling) she ends up with more questions about Axel and his life. She plans on asking him about these things she overheard the next time she sees him, but by the time that comes, she ends up completely forgetting everything she saw that day (this is because of what happens when Xion goes away) - [READ]
They don’t actually see each other face to face again until after Roxas leaves the Organization and Axel is going in and out of the digital Twilight Town to try to bring him back. He goes to the real Twilight Town to clear his head after one of those visits and runs into Miyu. She isn’t upset with him for pretty much ditching her, but she is concerned for him, as she can sense that something is wrong. He won’t really tell her anything that is going on, but assures her that he will be fine, because he’s “tougher than he looks” - [READ]
After Axel fails to bring back Roxas, he decides its for the best to push Miyu out of his life to protect her, since the Organization wants him eliminated.This ultimately crushes her, and brings her to her lowest point. Not only is she without her two best friends, but now she believes the one person she had grown close to since losing them wants nothing to do with her. However, since she noticed he was injured when this happened, she sends Pluto to keep an eye on him. (This one is very canon story heavy, but because of how well it all fits together, I wanted to include a lot of the canon scenes for context. Because of the length, I broke it up into parts, though Part 1 is really most important) - [READ Part 1] [READ Part 2] [READ Part 3]
During the KH2 Light Novel, Axel teams up with Riku (in his Ansem form) and Namine, and the three of them help Sora and his friends from behind the scenes, while trying to think of a way to rescue Kairi after Axel messed up when he kidnapped her. During their time together, Namine sees the three of them as becoming friends and even draws a picture of them together. However, at one point while Riku is away, Namine starts to ask Axel about Miyu, since she witnessed what happened when he pushed her away. She also draws a picture of the two of them together. - [READ]
Axel ends up “betraying” Riku and Namine and is reinstated into the Organization, though Xerci and Saix are suspicious of him - [READ]
Axel’s “death” and Sora telling Miyu what happened - [READ]
Ever since meeting Sora, Miyu starts getting mysterious letters from someone claiming to know her. These letters appear out of nowhere, like magic, and give her advice when she needs it. (What she doesn’t know is that these letters come from one of her best friends, who was able to send them after learning of her location when she heard that Sora had met her)
Around the time period of Dream Drop Distance, Miyu saves up enough munny to get a home in Twilight Town (rather than just staying in a hotel all the time), which is something she ends up being very proud of. She was someone who was once a princess with servants and such, living out on her own and taking care of herself. She had come to terms with the fact that it is possible she was stuck there for good, and while she didn’t want to remain stuck forever, she was much more comfortable living in Twilight Town than back in that castle she grew up in.
After Sora fights the Demon Tide in Twilight Town (KH3) and it flies away afterward, it ends up in the same area of Town that Miyu is in. She had been practicing her fighting skills quite a bit after losing Axel, but she still wasn’t quite ready to fight something like this. She starts to feel the same way she did during the fight that caused her to be separated from her friends, and is worried that she will lose this battle too, but suddenly her wand transforms into a Keyblade when she is backed into a corner and she is able to fight harder and defeat it.
Soon after getting her Keyblade, Miyu receives another mysterious letter, instructing her to take a special train out of Twilight Town to a certain tower, where she can get proper training with her keyblade. Upon arriving, she discovers that one of the friends she had been searching for was the one who had been sending the letters, and the two have a tearful reunion.
Miyu is then sent to the Secret Forest to train with two other Keyblade wielders.
Miyu meets Axel again and they confess that they had feelings for each other before - [READ]
When all the Guardians are together, Miyu gets to reunite with Aqua again. She is impressed with how far she has come since their training from when Miyu was young.
After the battle with Saix, Miyu’s Friend Group is fully Reunited - [READ]
After the final battle, everyone goes back to where they belong with all of their friends. Miyu and Axel are the first ones to arrive to the Clock Tower and Miyu comes clean about how she is really a princess who ran away from her home world. Later in the conversation, they even share their first kiss while waiting for the others to arrive (only to be caught by Roxas when he shows up, oops) But when everyone arrives, the entire group sits together having ice cream - [READ]

Hello!! I'm Mal (She/they), and I'm currently volunteering at a local Pokemon shelter in Alola. This is my blog where I post various pictures and stories of my Pokemon! :)
Current Pokemon:
Pluto: Male Umbreon that I got as an Eevee when I was younger. He's a bit quiet around new people, but becomes very sweet and snuggly once you get to know him.
Retro: Stray Rotom that I found at an arcade. Likes possessing game consoles and TVs the most, although It also likes to make my alarm clock go off at random times.
Mocha: Female Cubone I recently adopted. Still a bit shy, but she's warming up to us! She likes to dig around in sandpits, and loves having her back spines brushed. (She's the one in my PFP!)
(OOC: A little bit of info on how I run this blog! This blog treats pokemon as if they were real animals, which means they're not sapient in the same way a human is. However, a pokemon can be sapient in the way a crow or octopus is! There are some examples of pokemon being able to talk (such as the rotomdex), but this is just because of the pokedex translating things. This blog is mostly lighthearted, and usually won't go into anything too gritty or disturbing. Any dark subjects will be tagged. Please note that some of my personal headcannons on pokemon biology may conflict with yours! Also remember that the person running this blog is a minor, so no NSFW questions please.)

This is one of the first songs I had saved for Miahka, and honestly a lot of inspiration comes from it, too. It's her cold nature, her addictive touch, how she gets what she wants if she has you hooked. Her affinity to fire magiks, how she'll squeeze your heart with no consideration for you. (And she has horns, so y'know.)
Beautiful Liar - X Ambassadors

A song about someone who, despite how toxic and destructive they may be, you want to be with them all the same. You never want to leave their side, and you will accept their lies in order to do so. It describes Miahka's relationships as a whole, with her husband, with friends.
Redemption - Besomorph & Coopex ft. Riell

This song, as a whole, is fitting for Miahka and her situation in Ishgard, a man who wishes to 'fix' her, by making her someone she's not. A marriage she despises, a place that judges her for who she is. She doesn't believe in redemption, or that she deserves it. The world shaped her to who she is today and she'll break anyone in her way.
Siren - Kailee Morgue
There's a bright side // To every wrong thing // If you're looking at me through the right eyes // This could be perfection // Or venom dripping in your mouth // Singing like a siren...
This one speaks for itself, I suppose. It's in the name, after all! Miahka uses her looks to her advantage in many situations, and isn't afraid of that fact, either. She's a Siren, she draws people in - even if it's taboo, even if it's wrong. She will sing that song, kiss those lips, and live out her desires.
You Don't Even Know Me (Stripped) - Faouzia
You don't know a thing at all // You don't know about the way I am when I am all alone// You don't even know
A powerful, heart wrenching song that's perfect for Miahka and how she feels about herself. She's so deeply hidden under so many masks no one really knows the true her, and even though people look - they assume, they whisper and they talk, no one really knows.
Honourable mentions below, I know it's only five but come FIGHT ME her playlist is like 50 songs long and I just really like music.
Love Like Mine - Stela Cole (I just love this song, in general. The chorus slaps. And also it's a good view of how possessive she could get, if capable.)
Villain - K/DA (ft. Madison Beer & Kim Petras) (Because what strong female villain doesn't use this song?)
Revenge, And A Little Bit More - Unlike Pluto (UP drops some bangers, lets face it. And this song is a good representation of how Miahka wishes for revenge - on herself, on those who destroyed her Tribe, on Ishgard...)

Donna Noble and Castiel.
I want them to talk about bees together. I want Cas to listen intently as Donna rants about her co-workers. I want Donna to find out he’s an angel and can go invisible, and her first response is “can you do me a favor and put on your harry potter cloak to help me find out who’s stealing my lunches from the office fridge? I bet it’s Maurice.”
I want Donna to realize that Cas is lonely and feels like he’s just a tool, and I want Donna to call him up one day and be like “Can you believe this? I accidentally bought two gallons of ice cream! What a dunce; I can’t eat two gallons of ice cream by myself! Oh, stop it, I know you don’t eat, but come over here and help me anyway. We can watch that new movie on the telly while we’re at it,” and then they just,, have movie nights and eat ice cream and gossip at least once a week.
I want Cas to realize how lowly Donna thinks of herself, and I want him to pick up how much her mother influences this thinking, and one day Cas just scrounges up all of his Intimidating Angel of the Lord-iness to make sure Donna’s mother knows how important and beautiful and amazing Donna is.

was a filler episode of supernatural filled with dadstiel and absolutely no plot/angst really that much to ask for? huh? can’t a fan watch 40 minutes of Jack and Cas going to build a bear work shop and visiting Pluto and walking dogs in an animal shelter? Without having to see them struggling with the need to be useful to (aka killing themselves for) the Winchesters or worrying about death of victims on cases or worrying about whatever BBEG was starring in the season? We couldn’t have gotten an episode of Cas accidentally stumbling upon the angel version of catnip and drunkenly telling Jack all about his pre-series life in the garrison and Jack going on about TikTok and fandoms and memes? We couldn’t have gotten dadstiel playing minecraft together, with Jack making all these impressive builds and Cas accidentally destroying them because he doesn’t understand the mechanics of the controls or that creepers blow up if you try to hug them? was that so much to ask for?

the fact that I can look up "movies/shows with canon aromantic characters" and not get a single answer.
It's all "this character shows signs of aromanticism" or "here's a character that people headcanon as aro."
Like I'm sorry but that's not good enough?? I want a character who says the words "I'm aromantic." I want a character whose identity is talked about and explored. I want characters who struggle with their aromanticism, and I want characters who start the series/movie who are already comfortable with who they are. I want characters with aromanticism that is important in the context of their show/movie, and I want a variety of different aromantic experiences to be shown.
Obviously headcanoned rep is amazing and I'm glad to have it, but having just hc rep alone without any canon, well-developed rep in the context of the show/movie is not enough. I don't want to feel like I'm desperately grasping at straws or like I'm not worthy of direct representation when I think about the character being aro.

The absolute worst thing about supernatural is that there was never a point where Dean taped a "kick me" sign onto Sam's back, and Castiel later saw the sign and was very confused by it but ultimately decided to trust Sam's judgment and so kicked Sam as hard as he could
