thinking about the finding. oh yes the bruise-littered skin and rubbed-raw wrists and red-rimmed eyes, oh yes the shallow, pained breaths and semi-consciousness, in and out for the pain, but more acutely: the finding. the 'you are safe now' as well as the 'how do i touch you without hurting you'. the 'i'm here, and i'm sorry that i'm late'. you know

Okay SPOILERS for Dimension 20 Fantasy High Junior Year:
Also, I just cried from hearing Jawbone's voice.
Brennan what have you done to me?
My theory: so we know that when the Nightmare King was working with Kalvaxis they were also allied with the demons (or devils? I can't fucking remember. The ones aligned with Chaotic/Evil *grumbles about d&d cosmology*) so I think that it's the Devil that Cassandra was talking about when she said "I thought you were dead." I also think that's who Kristen was talking to last episode when she tried to contact Cassandra.
(Incidentally in rewatching season 1, I realized that Kristen actually talked to the Devil in the abandoned mithril factory. She asked him why bad things happen to good people and he said because they secretly deep down want them to happen and she was like "that's also a terrible answer!")
Anyways I think this is all going to culminate in them killing the Devil with Bill Seacaster and Ragh will in fact be the chosen one who rescues Cassandra thus becoming her first paladin and helping Kristen spread her religion.
Not sure where the Rat Grinders come into it though... Maybe they were just paid off to keep the Bad Kids distracted

What if right after Ladybug and Chat Noir reveal their identities to each other, Bunnyx just shows up all of a sudden and walks up to them and is just like, “Guys...I’m really sorry to do this to you.” And then she receives the biggest glare on the planet from Marinette while Adrien starts pouting and they’re just like, “Wait, what??” And then Adrien starts asking her not to do it and Bunnyx just stares at them all seriously for like a whole minute before bursting out laughing and she’s just like, “Nah, I’m just messing with you guys. I came to congratulate you, of course!” And throws her arms around both of their shoulders and they’re both just glaring at her while she has the biggest grin on her face

This is my 'How I would fix Miss Scarlet and the Duke next season' rant which I am putting under a Keep Reading since I have no idea if any of my mutuals also watch the show, but I need to get it out of my brain and I don't have time to start writing another fic series so here we go. (Note - this post contains spoilers for all seasons.):
I honestly do enjoy this show. I scream at it a lot, but I do enjoy it. My problem is that I feel like they've written themselves into a corner and we're not seeing the kind of character growth with Eliza that we could be.
Her dream is to be a detective and that's what she's been working towards, but I don't think she's fully committed herself to this dream.
Mostly because what she truly wants is to be a police detective, not a private detective, and that desire affects what kind of cases she takes on and how she approaches them...but that's not the total focus of my discussion here.
My issue is that she's always had a safety net.
William was always there to pass cases her way and get her access to crime scenes and the morgue.
Moses was around (until recently) to help her make those connections within the less than legal side of the community.
Patrick came onto the scene put her 'in charge' of the London branch, giving her a nice office and well-known name to work under.
There's always a dude coming to the rescue and I find it very tiring. Yes, she's smart and accomplished and has done a lot on her own, but it always boils down to that.
I want Eliza to start building her own network and to forge her OWN path. I feel like she is, a certain degree, a bit spoiled and she really needs someone to push back at her, but without the same power imbalance/romantic tension that we've been dealing with.
ELIZA NEEDS A FRIEND.
A real, true friend who is a woman.
Ivy doesn't count - she's family.
So. Here is my dream scenario for how the show could proceed. It would have been better if they'd been able to do this for season 4 and skipped the Patrick Nash bits, but whatever, we can still make this work.
I recognize that Eliza is in the 'you need to have money to make money' stage of things still so I've incorporated that issue into this plan.
As of the end of Season 4, William has gone to New York, Phelps is in charge, Fitzroy is still around, and Eliza is back at her old office, starting again at square one.
Season five picks up and Eliza has a meeting for a new case. The client is a woman who has had no luck with any other private detectives taking her case and who won't go to the police because where she comes from, you don't deal with the police.
Her father was well-known local gang leader who was murdered and everyone in the gang thinks it was one of their enemies, but she's convinced it was his right-hand man. She hires Eliza to help her find proof so she can convince her brothers that she's right.
They have a big adventure on the case, butt heads with each other, but in a fun 'i'm starting to respect you' kind of way, find the proof they need, case closed.
Then she comes back.
Her brothers have taken over the criminal side of her father's empire and he left her one or two of the legitimate businesses. So she has money and a lot of free time and not a lot of purpose.
She has no use for society, especially when society has no use for her, but does like Eliza and admires what she's trying to do.
She makes Eliza an offer which is to be her partner in the business. Eliza would be the main investigator, while this woman would be a) the money and b) a helpful guide to the criminal underworld which Eliza needs if she has any hope of building her own network.
She could also teach Eliza a thing or two about self-defense. Eliza could teach her about the detective side of things - maybe she gets really into the science behind it all.
It would add to the found family dynamic (Ivy would totally freak out at first and then adopt her) and it would give Eliza someone to partner with who wouldn't be continuously telling her not to do things or talking down to her or pulling the 'i'm in charge' card. They would be an equal partnership - both of them would insist on that.
It would force Eliza to get her hands dirtier than she ever has before and really invest herself in this career. When/if William comes back, she'd be a changed woman and they'd have to get to know each other all over again (which would put off the whole decision about whether or not they can actually be together just a little bit longer.)
AND! This woman could totally have a love interest in Fitzroy. She would flirt with him outrageously at first because it makes him blush and stutter which she thinks is hilariously adorable...and it's not like it means anything because he's a copper. It would never go anywhere. But then they work together. They help each other out. Share sideways glances over however ridiculous Eliza and William are being at the time. They'd bond. They'd become friends. And then, oh crap...she actually likes him. And he likes her. But he's a copper. **drama**
That's pretty much as far as I've gotten in my daydreams. I just firmly believe that we need more ladies on the scene because it's ridiculous at this point. I don't think it's unrealistic for the time period for her to find at least ONE woman to be a proper colleague/friend and after four seasons, we all deserve that - Eliza included.

i kind of want a succubus plot. like she’s so ethereal, most beautiful woman your muse has ever seen. it’s when they start to dream about her fucking them so good every night that they know they have to have her. the constant back and forth, the tense flirting and teasing, the sexual energy she exudes. ugh i need it and i need it now.

Eddie and Robin go to their senior prom together, meanwhile Steve and Nancy seethe with jealousy
They’ve survived the almost end of the world again, and life keeps moving along. March passes into April, and the banners go up in Hawkin’s High “Senior Prom: Out of This World”.
Steve isn’t sure why Eddie Munson started to hang out at Family Video so much in the wake of things, but he’s glad when he’s there. Eddie and Robin spend a lot of time together, hunched over fresh inventory, and Steve is glad, for both of them, that they have each other as friends, definitely.
He hears about it when he picks up the gremlins from D&D night. The Promposal.
Eddie had jumped up onto the lunch tables, barreling through the notion that he was going to keep his head down through graduation – what else can they possibly throw at me, Harrington, I’m already a vindicated man– and pulled a rose from god knows where to bow down to Robin.
Dustin imitates Eddie’s voice, “Robin Buckley, would you do me the honor, NAY the privilege, of accompanying me to my Final Senior Prom? I would be,” Dustin does a flourish with his hand, “forever in your debt.”
Even wilder, Lucas cuts in, Robin said Yes.
Steve is sort of incredulous about all this, but when he goes over to Robin’s (they see each other at least once a day; most nights are spent battling down their respective insomnias), she confirms it for him. What’s worse. She seems excited about it.
Steve says something stupid and kind of mean about Eddie and Robin gets pissed off.
“Maybe you should go home.” She still gives him a hug before he goes. Steve still doesn’t get much sleep.
The next day, he tries to respect what he thinks are Robin’s wishes. It’s Saturday, no hemming and hawing about driving her to school. Just work, Kevin on the shift with him.
Nancy comes in for her weekly drop-off and pick up. Things are awkward– they’re always a little awkward– until she glances around the room, sees no one, and too casually, “Heard about lunch yesterday?” And it feels like it used to, gossiping to each other because Nancy was always just the right amount of judgy for Steve not to feel like he had to be an ass to get the scoop.
He feels lighter by the time Nancy leaves, but still at a loss. Robin is a lesbian. And Eddie is. Steve’s never actually asked, but he doesn’t think he’s supposed to ask Or assume. But god, what if Eddie is making the same mistake Steve did? He could be falling for Robin, and why wouldn’t he?

I love how there can be a straight up murder at Sunnydale High School- a girl In literally the same talent show as her daughter, and Joyce Summers is just like “Honey, is something bothering you?” Like do the local parents just not know? How does anyone let their kid go to Sunnydale?

Reading Crown of Midnight:
(No spoilers please) Thoughts & Theories as of right now (starting Chapter 24):
— Okay this is just me thinking out loud (or I guess typing lol) but I have a new theory with 0 proof but I like guessing sometimes —
Aedion Ashryver was just introduced. We’ve (gonna use plurals lol) been wondering who is giving the king all this “info” on rebels (as it isn’t Chaol THE CAPTAIN OF THE GUARD) and someone is “advising” / giving him names for Celaena to “dispatch”. … The book has been dropping hints, telling us to look for that character (as Celaena does). And suddenly after those hints, along with another Aelin mention, a new character is thrown into the mix; a character that somehow survived the fall of Terrasen; begging the question of how. They could very easily be a traitor (hence the survival) & rebel destruction, OR an inside man for the rebels all along.🤔
NOW (without spoilers cause I’m trying not to ruin this for myself) I don’t know who Aelin is. Not officially, all I know is I’m pretty sure it’s Celaena… cause I unfortunately had this series HEAVILY in my feed prior to reading & pretty much every fan art that looks like Celaena is named Aelin… so I’m going to guess it’s her (whether she knows it or not)… though I’m trying not to think of it cause I’m guessing it’s a big plot. … With that said I mention it as it’s another reason why I think if Aedion was THAT character it would move that plot along too… possibly in helping her claim her new name… or adding some danger if he was bad & knew Aelin was alive (if she is Aelin to begin with). P.S. don’t confirm this, but if I’m right then the entire Dorian having met Aelin as a wild child & the whole “if Aelin had survived she might’ve been my bride” line becomes a thousand times more hilarious & heartbreaking.😅😅
P.S. P.S. why is there no ship content for Chaol and Celaena??? I try to avoid looking things up but sometimes I want inspo, fan art, aesthetics & right now I love them so much🥹… and I am so scared, something must go horribly wrong for there to be nothing (no content), and I may regret these posts of loving them but I want THEM to be ENDGAME😩… maybe I’ll get lucky and he has another name too and that’s why🤞… UGH book problems I JUST LOVE THEM TOO MUCH!!! And I know Sarah J. Maas writing, she’s gonna twist the plot and destroy me😂

Random ideas to happen;
Someone calling Tim Kain's Pet, at minimum Tim hears it and brings it up later. (Or maybe while someone else is with )
Someone walks in on Tim trying to break off his horns- self image issues, frustrated with being so different wanting to fit in and be 'Normal" (what he perceives as such)
Doesn't succeed of course either because he was fiund in time and/ or because not quite strong enough to do it.

Plot Thoughts as of Episode 5
What kind of possession did Graydon have when he was younger?  And did that make it easier for the Lich to take over this time?  Cause it took him over quicker than Ballantine.
Jade took the info that she was actually a Bone Reaver, a people she absolutely loathed and wanted to destroy, rather well.  I would have though there would have been more angst or flat out denial.
Kit is getting to be less of an ass than she was.
What dealings did Madmartigan have with the Bone Reavers.  They have no love for Tir Asleen so why is the King (Prince Consort?  Have we actually been told what his title ended up being?) working with them to find the curiass?
Why did the Trolls have to attack then!!
How far from Tir Asleen have they actually gotten?  Cause these are the same Bone Reavers that attacked them in episode 2? Are they just making a big circle or something?
They said that General Kael was the first Bone Reaver.  If he was how do they have their own culture, enough that they were branding children at 100 days old in only 30ish years?
Why has no one commented on Elora’s hair color change?  It’s not very subtle even for only a lock.

Had a dream where I was made of bubbles but sometimes the bubbles would hurt things. Made of bubbles is a vague super power. Bubbles of what? Water? Soap? Magma? Hydrochloric acid?

💡?
💡 Which scene have you made the most OR biggest changes to?
The first four chapters of Agent Ace have gone through the most changes, but the biggest changes probably apply to chapter four. Each time I've rewritten it, it's become a completely different scene that delivers the same information in a new way. When outlining, all I knew about the chapter was that 'Harley has a talk with Melissa and Ahren,' and I knew what those talks entailed, but I struggled with writing scenes that worked. Hopefully, I got it right this time around!

You know I thought I'd fucked up and jumped the gun a bit with the ending of the last chapter of ' A Circle None Can Break' but I just realised something. I don't need to have just the once Council scene in this story. I can up the drama and sprinkle in a little bit of angst by having Edwin get hauled up in front of the rest of the Council for what he did in Chapter 4. While what he did was certainly incredibly badass and quite necessary in the end, he still broke several Fangthane laws and, as a High Priest and member of the Council himself, that is a huge nono. How to make sure he keeps his mouth shut about certain events that happened before this series even takes place? Threaten to get him excommunicated and kicked out of the place he's called home for the last decade.
Sorry Edwin, but the plot has demanded that I sacrifice you on the altar of pain and misery to make the story better.
