hi. this is an insane post im about to make. okay.

so, im writing chapter 2 of "hello, clairvoyant?". this roughly takes place in november 2001. neither cassandra (alien who has recently come to earth) nor splinter (somewhat recent japanese immigrant with english as his second language) know any terms for nonbinary genders (genderqueer, agender, bigender, etc) to describe cassandra's gender.

what i'm stuck on is if splinter would know the term transgender. i think he'd know that people do transition from one gender to another, but i just don't know if he'd know the word for it. i don't know if it's popular enough yet, i don't know if he'd run into it... so. we're going to make this a poll.

I'm graduating art school soon! Unfortunately I don't have a stable job lined up for afterwards just yet, and student loans are going to start needing repayment REAL fast. So, now that I'll have way more time, I'm adding a bunch of new things to my Patreon!

guys guys guys guys its 3.21am fuck help me please im writing an alternate reality/timetravel au i havent quite figured it out yet but i NEED the dates for when all the magnus archives staff (paticularily martin) were hired i cannot find it ANYWHERE not even a rough estimate and its killing me inside please please please help me

update: tis the morning, i have had about 2 hours sleep and i STILL have nothing!! how can i write my depressing time travel/alternate universe au in these conditions?!?! the only concrete thing i can find is the fandom wiki putting martin’s date of hire in 2009. thats it. a whole YEAR to run with and guess about I CANNOT DO THIS!! if i had marginally less self control i would buy blaze for this post and this post only.
