The third sim to find and apply to the Ethereal Eden "project" was Gaia Ivy, a sweet plantism hermit.
As a plantsim, there wasn't much that Gaia could do to hide her nature from regular human sims, so her mother had taken her deep into the woods of Granite Falls and raised her there, alone, living off the land. Her mother was a regular human woman who had planted a forbidden fruit, and gotten Gaia as a result. She loved her green daughter more than herself, and was willing to do anything for her. Unfortunately, the woman was elderly, and when Gaia was only fifteen years old, she had passed away, leaving the teenager alone to fend for herself. For years, she lived alone that way, content to stay that way... until she discovered one of the tourist cabins while out on a walk, on accident. That was when she learned of TV, of electricity, and that she was deeply lonely. So when she found the application for Ethereal Eden, she decided to apply just because, never thinking she would actually be selected.
According to Bella and Colden, Gaia was one of the most important sims among them - even more important than themselves, the masterminds behind the thing. This was because, as an outdoor enthusiast who loves the outdoors, as well as a plantsim, she was their perfect gardener. She was also passionate about keeping the environment green, and was completely fine spending the entire day by herself in the garden.

thank you for the eye defaults, was just looking for new ones! one question: what's the advantage of having the other eye colors as eye masks in blushes instead of just having them as normal eyes? eg why did you decide to do this instead of just making custom eye colors when putting digi's eyes onto a new sclera? honestly just curious, because I had never considered anything like this

You're welcome ^^ Anon listed those eyemasks in their ask so I included them, Idk what the advantage over custom eyes would be for normal player, maybe if someone is afraid to use custom eyes yet but wants some variety anyways? I just made them for myself because I like to have them ┓( • ᵕ • )┏ Like for example to change eye colours for my models, eyemasks allow me to do it faster and in the game on a spot when my indecisive brain suddenly decides different eyes would be more suitable. I also like to have such eyemasks for supernatural sims, like plantisms and vampires, that have eye textures included in skin textures so I can have each vampire and each plantsim with different eyes

Hello Epi! So I was trying to incorporate plantism in my game but I find it difficult. I'm not really into gardening feature. Would it be very difficult to add a chance to contract plantism by some other means? Like, drinking tap water, or introduce a tiny chance for a 'normal' sim to give birth to plantsims?
Hi! It'd be possible to make mods like that yes, how difficult depends on how much you can mod or are willing to learn. Tap water one would be less likely to conflict with other mods than anything intervening with births is.
Not what you're asking but in case it helps: I use Midge's mod that stop plantsims occurring from gardening and there's also one that makes it possible for plantsims to turn other sims with the pollen cloud prank, bringing it more into line with how other supernaturals work.
I also use her Hereditary Supernaturalism so plantsimism runs in families. And I just turn sims with The Supernatural Transformer whenever I need someone to be 'the first'.

Here’s a WIP shot of a lot I’ve been picking away at for literal years now, considering I first worked out the labyrinth pattern four years ago. The labyrinth is now nestled in a magical clearing with cliffs on all sides. Every now and then I’ll open this lot and work on the cliffs and carving out passages through them. I need to be in the right mood for it, but it’s very satisfying when things start to take shape.
I’m envisioning this as a secret plantsim gathering place; a place where they flourish and recharge their power.

ReNuYu Porta-Chug aka New You Potion - Default
✦ Download (SFS) | MTS2* This default is a clone, contains all resources plus mesh & texture.
* It is not compatible with mods that make ReNuYu show in Buymode catalogue, so I've updated the archive - now it contains a buyable version, two prices to choose from.
A FREE version of buyable ReNuYu (0 Simoleans) is HERE (SFS).
If you use my Vamprocillin default, you may have noticed it also replaces ReNuYu bottle. That's because this one is unlike other potions - doesn't have its own model, just borrows it from vampire cure. This default fixes that.

Playing Animal Crossing and doing the bunny day/blossoms challenge has got be me to thinking that the The Sims 4 team has been slacking big time! When was the last time we had a challenge update? I remember the sugar skull challenge, grow fruit challenge, plantism challenge and those skill boost weeks. That was a couple of years ago what happened?

It definitely does. Especially when you’re using larger JBB slaves like big rugs and stuff. The images at normal resolution tend to get really blurry/pixellated on those, which is a shame. But, not so much when the textures are 1024x1024. And I’m glad I’m being helpful. :)

I lost it when I read the cardboard comment. I've used variations of that very same texture for tons of stuff. Folks have no idea how useful of a texture that can truly be! Love it!
It’s a good texture! Heck, it even works on clothing when you need loose, uneven, non-crisp pleats on something, like broomstick skirts. :) Gauze bandages are good, too. Nice, loose-woven linen-y texture and -- bonus! -- white! :)

I love when they do the book thing while holding babies. It's cute! :) Kinda makes me wish there were more things sims could do at once like that.
Heck, I’ve always wished Sims could just sit down while holding a baby. I mean, how hard could that animation be, seriously? They look really weird standing there holding a baby for hours. It’s why I use that danglemaster thing, so that Sims don’t stand there holding the baby with a blank expression on their face for hours.

That's too bad about the no Harry Potter thing. If you ever have a chance I highly rec0mmend the books. The first two, admittedly are more childish, but that was one purpose. Readers were meant to grow with Harry. The later books are really, really great. I've been re-reading the series and reminded how the movies just do not do them justice.
Yeah, I know a lot of people like them. I just was never interested, myself. Probably because it’s more of a fantasy, and I’m not a wizards-and-magic fantasy fan at all. Didn’t even like it when I was a kid. Sci-fi, orgasmic yes yes yes; fantasy, definite no. I mean, I can’t stand Tolkein, after all, and that’s like sacrilege. :) But maybe one day I will give Harry a shot. My brother’s husband and one of Ethan’s sisters are both huuuuuuuuge HP nerds, and they both keep pushing me to read it, too. It’d shut them up if I just did it one day. :)
