Maverick: Hangman, ring Ice.

Hangman: Uh, sure. Is everything okay? *thinking ICE = In Case of Emergency*

Maverick: Tell him I need him to pick me up.

Hangman: *takes Mav's phone and calls Ice*

Ice: Mav, I'm not coming to pick you up. I told you not to try and keep up with the kids...

Hangman: Uh... This is Jake Seresin.

Ice: Oh. Huh. Is everything alright?

Hangman: Well. He's alive? But he asked me to call you to come and pick him up?

Ice: *sighs* Of course he did. Tell him I'm on my way. *Hangs up*

Hangman: He's on his way.

Maverick: Great! He just hangs up on me now, or tells me to get a taxi.

Hangman: *thinks Maverick needs a better emergency contact*

Ice: *walks into the Hard Deck, greets Penny and then walks over to where Maverick and Hangman are holding up the bar*

Hangman: *thinks he's now way more drunk than he was seconds ago and is hallucinating the COMPACFLT in the Hard Deck*

Maverick: You came!

Ice: You play dirty. Come on, let's get you home. Thanks for the phonecall Lieutenant.

Hangman: *goldfish impression*

Maverick: *happy koala clinging to Ice impression*

This is pre-Popol Vuh though. Florian Fricke became friends with Werner Herzog in 1967 and formed Popol Vuh in 1969. The band went on to contribute soundtracks to several of Herzogs films.

I'm watching queer eye and like. most times I can understand the fab5 and why they need to change/fix this person and the ways whatever they're teaching will help, but like. they're teaching etiquette to this total country rancher guy bc he wants to find a girl and settle down and he never learned that type of stuff and yeah manners and basic etiquette is important but rn they're focusing so much on dining and the amount of forks!! and no you can't dip your bread in soup you gotta tear a small piece and drop it in!! and you're absolutely terrible if you set your spoon on the table!!
