The Lush Wedding at Linden Gardens Sampler
Today’s wedding took place at Linden Gardens. There’s a few advantages to this venue. It’s green everywhere. There’s no shortage of spots for photos, and there’s no shortage of spots nearby for photos.
That was a runner up for the cover image. I like the slowness, how intimate it is, but I felt the cover image I used had the energy and excitement that really characterized this special day.
So let’s start this day, with a ring shot. This is a special one.
It’s sentimental. These two – their first contact was a to-do list on a job site. A list that he surprised her with on the morning of the wedding. He kept that list, all those years.
Our bridesmaids were getting ready. Hair, makeup, moral support, gifts.
Over at the guy’s hotel room, a similar situation.
Before long, they were ready to go. I snapped a quick photo of our groom, and took off to see how the girls were faring.
Hair is on point. We’re getting there.
And the dress…
And so, off to Linden Gardens. I have not visited this venue in some time, and the change is unbelievable.
The ceremony went by awfully quick. It wasn’t a large wedding, but they more than made up for it in enthusiasm.
We ran off to get some formals. Let’s take a minute to appreciate these flowers.
And these beaming bridesmaids.
And these beaming groomsmen.
These enthusiastic, beaming groomsmen.
It was time for a little break, between formals. We found a bench right be a picturesque pond.
I’d like to take a moment to talk about these two.
I’ve known them for quite some time, and they’re both nerdy. I happen to think they’re both awesome, however, I’ll be giving them gifts of graphic calculators and pencils, and maybe a joke book full of chemistry puns.
Back at the reception, the party was in full swing.
Love was everywhere. Another pair of recent newlyweddings exchanged a quick kiss on the dance floor.
Unfortunately, this is where our adventure ends, for now. Keep in mind, this isn’t all the photos. This is a sampler, 39 of the photos taken today. There’s a full album coming out in about 3 weeks, though. There’s dancing, there’s landscapes.
This is simply a sneak peek, a selection of a few favourites throughout the day to show you.
If you personally know the bride and groom, feel free to contact me by clicking here. Let me know who you are, along with the bride and groom’s name, and I’ll make sure you get a link to the finished album!
If you’d like to keep a picture, even on mobile, just click it and it will open in a separate window. You can save it from there.
If you know someone who’d like to see this sneak peek, feel free to click one of the share buttons on the top or bottom of this entry, to share and tag them! Although I try to get the word out, a lot of family members and amazing bridesmaids and groomsmen don’t know about these samplers!
Thank you for reading this far. I put a lot of time and work into these sneak peeks so it’s great that you’ve taken the time to read all this!
Lastly, if you’d like to stay updated, feel free to follow me on Instagram, facebook, twitter, or Tumblr for frequent updates. Talk to you all in a few days!

Does Counselling Help After Cheating?
Does Counselling Help After Cheating?
It’s not time that heals wounds, but what you do with that time that matters most
Counselling after cheating or betrayal can be the difference between facing a problem together and fighting each other over the problem. Turning towards each other, seeing each other with compassion and showing resilience can mean the difference between relationship breakdown and finding each other through the…

The organizers behind a volunteer-based initiative by a non-profit organization in Penticton, B.C., are hoping to help prevent overdoses in the community by providing a free mobile safe consumption site.
The Penticton Overdose Prevention Society launched a new safe consumption service in a bus earlier this week and are inviting people who use substances like opioids to come in and be observed while they use.
"We can respond really quickly and get them the lifesaving services that they need as soon as [an overdose] happens," co-founder Desiree Franz said on CBC's Daybreak South.
She said the idea to re-purpose a bus as a safe consumption site has been in the works for a while but the organization decided the need was too urgent to wait any longer when a member of the community passed away from overdose in late May.
"He probably wouldn't have passed away if the services already were being utilized in our community," she said. "People are dying in our community and we just want to prevent that from happening."

2019 flashback
+2019 was one of the best years yet
+went to pentiction with someone very important. Showed her things that were very important.
+spent Christmas in a different but wonderful way.
-got a new job that is challenging, but i am up for the challenge. I left a company that was toxic and traded it for a little family run business.
+lost a bad best friend. And although it was hard I am happier and know my worth.
+moved in with a babe. I love living with her. I can’t WAIT to have our own space. I can’t wait to decorate and linger in different rooms while still having a conversation. I can’t eait for nights we spend laughing, or fucking on the kitchen counter. I can’t wait to have our three kittens living together as a little tribe.
+I went to the waterpark this year and it was perfect. To put down my phone for an entire day and have a non stop amazing conversation that lasted until dinner was over.
+sometimes I look at my nieces and I’m so proud of the women they are already becoming. I love them so much.
+ So love on me, even if we're wasted. Kiss on me, you know you got to taste it. So fall for me, and I'll follow you.
+find someone who runs you baths after a hard day. Who knows exactly what makes you smile, remembers your favourite things, can make you laugh with just one sentence. Someone who listens when you talk, someone who has constructive conversations and tells you what they need from you. Find someone who is your best friend and love of your life. It’s so worth it. You’re so worth it.
-I did not buy enough books in 2019. I need to get a library card in 2020.
+I want 500 more cans of nutral. I’m thankful I discovered vodka Sodas with lime last year. They are by far the best drinks ever.
+we are doing keto. And sometimes I want a huge pizza but I am proud we are doing keto. Proud my babe have taught me so much about food and health, she pushed me in the gym in ways I didn’t know where possible. I can’t wait to go to the gym more this year. Learn to love my body. Find a pace that works for me. Gonna learn to love myself 2020.
+I watched my sister renew her vows this year and I was reminded of how fun her wedding night was. Dancing with no shoes with my mum and my aunties. The last big family gathering. This years 10 year was small but full of love.
-I miss you. All the time. My brain still thinks of things to tell you. Stores them in a filing cabinet of things I’ll never get to tell you. I hope you’re in the In-Between watching us, loving us. I hope we make you proud.
+I can’t wait for 2020. It’s going to be the best one yet. Xo
