Slash Girl
DWN.054β - スラッシュガール*
“Time ta rip ‘em up!!”
Good Point - Foot speed
Bad Point - Brakes
Like - Hot coffee
Dislike - Glass doors
7’ (213.36 cm)* - though bad posture makes her appear shorter.
*Technically her height spec is “a head taller than Slash Man” and thus dependent on how tall he is, of which we don’t have a good, concrete number.
Purpose - A Robot Master created by Dr. Wily, intended to be the ‘sister’ of Slash Man. Primary function is high-speed recon, wide-range intel/target acquisition and mapping.
After Slash Man’s reassignment from forest-clearer to captain of the robotic dinosaur division, his speed proved too high to successfully lead, resulting in him frequently acting alone. Slash Girl was put into development to match his speed, so he could have somebody to meaningfully coordinate with.
Though Slash Man was not directly a dinosaur by design himself, Slash Girl was given more dinosaur-like features to reflect Slash Man’s unit. “Raptor” was chosen for those features both to symbolize speed, and a pack-hunting nature.
*Her Japanese name is an intentionally ambiguous play on pronunciation and can be either interpreted as “Girl” or “Gal” depending on preference, though “Girl” is the more universally used (due to being the ‘baby sister’).
Skills
High sprint speed and powerful jumping capability.
Strong senses, capable of monitoring and transmitting multiple forms of data (visual, audio, thermal, etc.) at high speeds.
Melee attacks are primarily kicks. In a game environment, this would entail:
A fast ground slide, similar to Mega Man’s, but damaging.
A three-hit standing kick (high, middle, and low)
A front-flip into a one-foot ground slam, utilizing the brake-boosters in her shins.
‘Signature’ moves involve arm-feathers - the Slash Wing
As expected of its name, it can be used in a forward swipe similar to the Slash Claw, with a smaller shockwave that cannot cancel other attacks.
More importantly, though, SG can raise her feathers as a shield to block direct/discreet projectiles (indirect attacks may still hit around it). Any ‘elemental’ properties are absorbed by the feathers temporarily, either dissipating or used in her primary attack -
A three-way spread projectile. Feathers stick to terrain to form temporary hazards. They take on absorbed elemental properties.
If the Slash Wing is copied, the single swipe would be an uncharged attack, while charging it will raise a barrier of feathers - releasing the charge launches the feathers. Feathers can absorb elemental attacks to take on their properties, but the usefulness of this when most RMs are powered up by their own elements is dubious.
Capable of swapping weapons with her brother, exchanging her wings for his claws. Slash Man's light frame actually makes more use of the Slash Wing for mobility, and Slash Girl's heavy body puts a lot more force behind swings of the Slash Claw, making their own weapons more powerful in their sibling's possession. However, they can only maintain use of those weapons for a limited energy duration, as Mega Man would.
Personality
Good at noticing small changes in the environment, making her an excellent tracker.
Puts a lot of effort into hunting; extremely task oriented. A ‘hunt’ could be of the physical sort, but also extends to recon/’research’ or even menial retrieval errands.
On all other accounts, somewhere between dumb lizard and idiot bird
Hunt-motivated, but quite lazy otherwise. Spends a lot of off-time sun basking.
Has good eyesight, but difficulty with glass. Can (and frequently does) walk into glass doors if they are well-kept, lacking decals, and not automated (and will still run into automated doors while overclocked due to internalizing their opening speed while not overclocked).
Arbitrarily territorial and over-protective. High likelihood to hyperfixate.
Acts like a badass, actually very easily startled, especially by thunder and lightning.
Due to quirks in her heating system (see below*), the quickest way to increase her internal temperature without overclocking is to imbibe blisteringly hot liquid, which has given her a reputation for being a coffee addict (as it is her most frequent blisteringly hot liquid of choice). She has more or less burned out her machine tastebuds as a result.
Given reptilian similarities and shared functions as recon bots, Slash Girl fondly considers Snake Man to be an old uncle.
Totally dating Proxima Centaurii (OC of @dahlia-the-nurd)
Other
Due to her design emphasis on distance speed, she’s built to take g-forces and to absorb the impact of sudden stops, making her surprisingly tough and sturdy for a high-speed recon bot.
Although her sprinting top-speed is higher than her brother’s she is far less nimble at close quarters.
Frequently overestimates her ability to brake; crashes are not uncommon. She even has foot spurs, and brake-boosters in her shins and arms, and she still manages to screw this up because she tends to use those more for augmenting her attacks than remembering what they’re actually for. If she used them properly, this would not be a problem. But it is.
Using her brake-boosters to augment her attacks causes unnecessary jarring wear on her joints and internals, as they were not built with that functionality in mind (they can take sudden, massive single impacts from braking, constant heavy pressure from g-forces, and rapid low-pressure joint movement and minor impacts from running fast in the first place, but repeated large impacts in a short time frame can cause compound problems). It also depletes her energy much quicker.
Higher base jump than her brother, but while she can grip to walls in a pinch, she cannot climb them very well.
Shares her brother’s sensitivity to cold but with lesser severity (usually only making her tired and sluggish). Completely lacks his milder vulnerability to high heat* and in fact gains a boost from it. However, her circuitry and other components tuned for maximum efficiency at dangerously high speeds are strongly susceptible to electric-based attacks.
Some ‘basic’ comprehension processing and databanks were removed to make room for the sheer amount of high-speed data she has to gather and transmit, rendering her effectively illiterate. She can still understand and speak multiple languages, but she has no databank or even rudimentary capacity for any written language, on the assumption that she is transmitting all visual data she collects to somebody who can.
When she was built the first time, it was part of a full robot-dinosaur army scheme, which was halted by Mega Man. Slash Man nearly sacrificed himself to protect SG - still undergoing final diagnostics within a specialized egg capsule - and Wily was forced to terminate her programming prematurely in order to use her parts to save her critically injured brother. While she was completed properly at a later time, this incident remains an emotional mark on them both, but Slash Man more-so.
*”Heating System Quirk”
Both Slash Man and Slash Girl have unique internal properties due to their high-speed functions. Since neither manipulates time to move quickly like some other speed-based Wily Numbers, both require extremely wear-resistant joints and other internals.
To get around this, both are augmented with a unique, waxy jelly with a stark heat gradient; at room temperature, it is fairly rigid and almost sticky, to allow for internal support, but at higher temperatures, it turns into a high-efficiency joint lubricant. If either robot’s core temperatures are brought too low, the jelly quickly coagulates and locks up where it shouldn’t. Directed electrical currents allow the jelly to resist thermodynamic equilibrium, so the jelly is only affected close to the heat source, allowing the material to support multiple physical states within the same compartment.
Slash Man, being an earlier model, gets around this by constantly overclocking and running hot 100% of the time, explaining why he’s… Like That. But it also means he wears out the jelly (and other internals) at a much higher rate, requiring more frequent replacement/repair. He also contains more of the jelly supporting and cushioning internal components, so high ambient heat or direct heat-based weaponry weakens structural stability overall, giving him his two-pronged temperature weakness.
Slash Girl, by contrast, has most of the jelly compartmentalized to high-wear moving parts only, and an internal toggle for her overclock to get things moving, which she leaves off when she has no important tasks, making her sluggish and lazy most of the time. Finding sources of heat to warm herself up allows her to function meaningfully when she’s not clocked up, but it usually takes a while to raise her core temperatures to a point where it can affect the pertinent portions of the jelly.
To speed up her heating process, she can drink blisteringly hot liquids… such as overheated fast-food coffee. This has given her a bit of a reputation as a caffeine-junkie, though only the thermal heat is of value to her. Dousing her internals with coffee also has a downside of causing more problems than good, so despite her requiring less maintenance than her brother in theory, she finds herself needing repairs just as frequently.
The material itself is fairly versatile for other purposes, and for a while was used as an incubation medium for certain types of robots (especially reptilian), as well as a diagnostic suspension due to its unique properties at very specific temperatures, though heated microfilaments spread through the entire medium is required to keep it at a uniform temperature given its usual resistance to equilibrium. Over time, most of its general functions were phased out in favor of less finicky substances.
It is the same goop that Slash Man throws capsules of as a means of subduing prey, since it is found in ample supply at Robosaur Park given its other uses.
TMI (Technical Maintenance Information)
IE I overthink things for fun but other people might get weird about it (also a bunch of this was from a dream I had on 4/8/21)
Has no ‘armorless’ variant; plating and other coverings go over raw internal components.
Subject to change if any other Wily Numbers ever get official/quasi-official armorless variants, but it would be far more likely to be a full swap to a simplified non-combat shell with reduced armor rather than a “naked” or “underarmor” chassis.
Helmet does not come off to reveal hair, only a transparent circuit case. The ponytail ‘lock’ out the back of her head is a decorative cover for a port.
The cover is a fairly heavy screw, so it’s not very likely to fall out or get punctured in combat, though successfully hitting the switch by some means is a sure-fire way to stop her dead in her tracks - possibly literally, if done with a narrow piercing weapon that obliterates the switch and goes right into her circuit casing, as it’s the thinnest part of the plating protecting her ‘brain’.
Serial bus pins along the walls of the port before the switch allow her to be plugged in for electronic component diagnostics and programming maintenance.
Maintenance flowchart typically involves stripping armor, getting a steam clean with a superheated non-water solution to dissolve and remove burnt-out gel residue, drying off with heated air jets, then going in for whatever repairs she needs.
Afterwards, she gets submerged up to her neck in a ‘bath’ of the gel brought to a boil so that it can sink into her joints (looking almost like a vat of lava-is-boiling-kool-aid), which is then drained to allow it to cool and coat her internals with a very thin layer before reinstalling her armor.
She also refills a couple scattered reservoirs of spare gel close to high-heat components, which slow-release small amounts of it in liquefied form to joints that need it, the largest of which is in her chest cavity approximately where a human liver would be.
Enjoys the boiling gel bath possibly a bit too much (in part due to her heat-preference, but also as a counterpoint to the discomfort of the rest of the process).
While her high-impact joints and other sturdy elements limit her overall sensitivity, the core of the major ball-joints at her shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees (as well as the major pivot in her ankles) contain extremely sensitive - if specialized - sensors to detect physical faults in the joints under maximum stress. Since even a hairline structural failure at on-foot mach 1 could prove catastrophic, the ability to detect even the tiniest anomalies and immediately initiate a slow-down (not sudden stop!) response is imperative.
Her foot/ankle sensors are by far the most sensitive, as the joint sits between two engine-powered boosters. Any shrapnel from that joint shearing apart at max speed runs a high risk of detonating either or both booster engines, which would blast the whole leg into a few thousand pieces, possibly taking the other with it. It would be recommended to avoid this at all costs. This manifests in a mild ‘ticklish’ response, but only to direct, pinpointed pressure into the joint grooves.
This specific sensitivity makes electrical attacks that travel along the ground especially dangerous to her.
Second most sensitive would be the hip joints. If one of those were to fail, she’d lose a whole leg, and while she’d probably lose the leg as a whole unit and be able to reattach it, there’s still a running risk that the shrapnel from one hip joint failing could damage the other hip, as well as potentially drive shrapnel into her lower torso and rupture other vitals.
Her shoulders share a touch lower sensitivity as her hips; while losing an arm at high speeds is not nearly as bad as losing a leg, the proximity to her head and chest vitals need to be accounted for, though usually a structural failure in her arms does not result in as much collateral/shrapnel damage as her legs since they aren’t involved in high-impact movement while running, just rapid, repetitive motion from counterbalance adjustment.
Her knees are still sensitive, but not as much. While there is some risk of shrapnel hitting her lower-leg boosters, it’s not as guaranteed as the ankle joint going, and a failure in either knee usually just results in the lower leg falling off in one piece. Still sucks, but requires far less in the way of repair complexity.
Elbows, while possessing those sensors, are not AS much so, since losing an arm isn’t nearly as critical as losing a leg, and again, they’re not very high-impact while running so the damage would be minimal.
These failsafe sensors (usually shortened to “failsafes” in conversation) are not easily accessible - being confined to inside of the joints that have to be the strongest in her body - but high electrical currents running through them can cause enough pain to knock her right out and they are the primary culprits of her electricity vulnerability (the other being her high-speed data gathering and transmission systems, almost all located in her head). Any damage to the joints that exposes those sensors to abnormal stimuli, or anything that can seep into them to interfere with function (the wax gel does not), or (VERY) low-voltage directed electrical currents elicit the closest she could get to an indecent response, with an understandable level of embarrassment. She cannot turn them off with the rest of her pain sensors without special equipment found only at a fortress base; a combination of them not technically being pain sensors, and because it would defeat the purpose and likely lead to an accident.
This is meant less for intimacy narratives (due to requiring traumatic physical damage to access them under most circumstances) and more for awkward post-accident field-repair interactions.

Earth-11′s very own Red Robin joins the blog!
Quick Facts:
She was the third Robin for Batwoman, but eventually “graduated” and took on the role of Red Robin, in order to avoid confusion with the new Robin, Talia Kane
Despite this, there isn’t much resentment between the daughters of the Bat, at least not the way there was between their Earth-0 counterparts
In fact, Thea tends to get along fairly well with her family (though this can be changed if other Earth-11 rp’ers would like something different)
However, where Tim Drake started Young Justice, and boasted more than a few civilian friends, Thea did not create a team of her own, nor did she have many friends outside of her allies in the hero community
She’d like to get to know more of her fellow heroes, especially the ones in her generation/age, but she tends to work in Gotham exclusively, and so rarely sees them
She still favors the bo staff, and her primary patrol area of Gotham is near to Gotham Heights, where she (and Tim) grew up
She leans extremely heavily into her hero work and neglects her life as Thea Drake even moreso than Tim does
She is still plenty witty/sassy, however, and her personality matches fairly closely with Tim’s
She still prefers energy drinks to coffee, her favorite color is still green, and she still listens to the same music as Tim (Depeche Mode and Enya being high up on the list, though Thea also likes Melissa Etheridge and The Cranberries more than Tim does)
(She will be pleased to know that they have the same bands on Earth-11 as they do on Earth-0, in fact)
(She will, conversely, however, be very upset when it turns out Earth-0 has songs that Earth-11 does not, and vice versa)
While Tim exclusively wears contacts, sometimes Thea favors glasses, though it entirely depends on whether or not she felt like putting in contacts that day
She is still a high school dropout
She did still train with Earth-11′s Lady Shiva equivalent
Her parental arc remains largely the same, though where Janet died first for Tim, Jack died first for Thea, and she and her mother had to navigate living without him instead
Because I can’t resist the chance to add more queerness into my stories, Janet did date Dana Winters before she was killed by Earth-11′s Capt. Boomerang
Unlike Tim, Thea has a few small tattoos, which she only got on places where they wouldn’t be visible as identifiers
In that vein, she also has piercings all up her right ear
Thea is still trans and bisexual, like my canon Tim
Thea trains often, but one of her favorite ways to train is by swimming, where Tim’s is form drills; of course, she’ll do those same form drills, but she likes to mix it up a bit more than Tim does
While Tim speaks/reads Latin, French, some Arabic, a little German, Mandarin, and ASL, Thea speaks/reads ASL, Latin, Russian, Japanese, full German, and full Arabic
Tim isn’t a half-bad cook, but Thea is a better cook than he is; their combined favorite meal, though, is Dana’s Italian Wedding Soup, which she taught them both how to make

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐒 , we’ll be a perfect family. ft @scapegrce
𝙲𝚄𝙽𝙽𝙸𝙽𝙶𝙷𝙰𝙼 is a prolific name in hawkins. a beautiful house , nestled on breakwater ave. it's lawn is always lush and green , rose bushes trimmed perfectly. they are a beautiful family , laura , philip , christine , and tara. they have always been a part of hawkins , that two story home with it's bricks and pillars. if one were to define the american family, the cunningham's would be a shining example.
laura dawson once reigned queen of hawkin's high. she reigned with a gold heart , that was what everyone said. philip had always made sense for her , the captain of the football team , and of course the family name. since their sophomore year, they were destined for a life together. But it had never been love , not the truth that was underneath. laura was another trophy to display, and philip was a means to an end.
a positive pregnancy test sealed their fate , a secret kept until they had graduated , until they had married. christine noel , a beautiful girl , strawberry curls , and her mother’s eyes. she should have been cherished , should have been shown the love a daughter deserved. but she was an accessory for laura , a chance to gain more attention , to prove she was above the rest of the mothers. Her Christine would be prefect, her Christine would be the golden child of hawkins.
tara would come after , another beautiful girl with those same eyes. they were complete, they were happy. Painted portraits with all smiles , painted portraits that displayed the image the world saw , not the haunted home that was the truth. laura was kind , she was gentle. she led the children’s choir at church , she was a woman who shined. Philip held a senior position at his office , he worked hard for his family , he loved them greatly. Those were the parents hawkin’s saw , those were the parents in those painted portraits.
laura had always been hard on Chrissy , but it was because she loved her , because she would only have the best. she would be a girl of sugar and lace , wrapped in beautiful soft pink ribbons. Her younger sister had been a lost cause for long too long , and laura only offered venom for tara. But Christine was her star , Christine was the results of all her hard work.
and that hard work had been difficult. How many times she had let out chrissy’s clothes because she had eaten too much , because she hadn’t worked hard enough. She belittled her because she loved her , she loved her , she screamed at her because she loved her , it was her reasoning behind it all it was always christine’s fault , always hers for when laura had to do those things ( even the time christine’s face had stung from her mother’s hand , it was only once she promised every time ). Her love was everything , her approval , that was all that mattered.
philip turned away to it all , pretended what was happening in his home simply wasn’t. he couldn’t be found then often , stuck at the office ( which was always the excuse for time with his secretary ) , or maybe he was just drowned in the bottle. To ask him for anything , was too much for christine or tara to ask. He resented them all , his wife , his daughters , what his life had amounted to.
but they were cunninghams , and they were hawkin’s beautiful family , they were house of dinner parties , of after church Sunday lunches. They were beautiful , perfect , as long as no one looked beyond the curtains.
