Bill and Paul annoy the crap out of each other but they're also each other's favorite. Paul is a bitchy selfish jerk but whenever Bill has an extra ticket to something or just wants someone to keep him company Paul is always his first choice. of everyone he could've picked to look after Alice when she was a kid he picked Paul. and Bill is a nag who doesn't mind his own business but he's the best friend Paul's ever had. he won't mildly inconvenience himself for Bill but he'll barely hesitate to put his life on the line for Bill

NIGHTMARE KAI-ME SEASON ONE, EPISODE FOUR: REVISED REPRISE

Summary: Paul and Emma love Kai! Of course they do, she’s been living with them for a while now, she’s practically their daughter! But, they realize something: they don’t really know much about Kai’s past, other than she lived in a town called Unington with her parents and friends. Everything else is a mystery to them. So, what do they do? Ask the source, of course! Kai is hesitant to share the details of her past, as her life has been full of tragedies and hardship. With enough convincing, Kai starts to think back to her past. While doing this, she stumbles upon something strange: she can’t quite remember what traumatic events happened to her. And the things she can remember? They’ve been twisted and turned into a more romanticized version of events, along with an entirely new person added into her memories. Confused and determined to get to the bottom of this, Kai heads back to her hometown to figure out why her memories were rewritten and who was behind it.

I’m not a big Paul x ted person but thinking about how in time bastard, even after Ted had his mind broken by whatever he saw in the box and became a shell of his former self, even after ten (I think it was ten?) years as the homeless guy, he still remembered Paul being his best friend and wanted to warn him about robot Emma.

After all that time, after being completely broken by that box, he still remembered, he still cared about Paul. Because “they were best friends once.”

What makes it worse is that A. Paul did not see Ted as his best friend (which is understandable but it’s still sad for Ted) B. The Paul in that timeline wasn’t even the real Paul, he died long before the events of that episode. And C. That Paul then proceeded to kill him

Idk just thinking about them as maybe one sided and it just makes time bastard more tragic
