Pastatober Day 3-4: The wandering creatures; The Seedeater and Smile Dog.
They're silent, mostly solitary creatures that go around the forest on their own thing, either hunting or chilling.
The Dog its a lot more of a mystery tho, with oddly human mannerisms, like talking, ocassionally, eating at the table, taking bubble baths then leaving as fast as it arrived.
The SeedEater its more of a creature, acts like a giant cat of sorts and has a close friendship with Jack, sometimes bringing her objects and gifts and visiting the mansion
Ben likes both a lot, but interact with the Dog more, he doesnt seem to be scared of it and likes to braid it's hair. Dog just lets him. Seedeater gives him piggy backrides but it's too tall so he gets scared sob
Smiledog's name in this au its Red Smiling Dog, or just Dog. Seedeater its mostly referred to as "the creature" or "black bush" or just "cake" (by Jack and Ben)

Day 6: Ben. The Found Soul
Ben it's a shy, but kind-hearted kid who fell victim of a sacrifice ritual back when he was alive, being consumed by The Beast, a demon that took his body, mind and soul to disturb the minds of others inside the game
However after being freed from the chains of the curse, he floated back up, somehow keeping Link's body as he did so, and while he stayed dead he was now free and wandered around until he found the Red Smiling Dog, who took him to Jack
Ben it's really grateful to have had such a wonderful "rebirth", doing normal things a kid would do and also with a caring parental figure like Jack, who he sees as a mom. He's not particularly affected by Jack being the main hunter or the other monsters in the forest because his biggest fear it's big bodies of water (thalassophobia)
He also considers Jeff a big brother
