Looking into a car an old friend is selling

2007 Suzuki Reno 4 cyl. 136,000 miles

they are selling it because the timing belt snapped while driving, they have purchased a new car and are selling the car for $300-$500. I am not into the concept of partsing out a car so i only want it if it runs, for my finances younger sister. the friend said a garage looked at it and says they have no clue if there is damage and said hey wouldn't know unless the belt is replaced. for whatever reason they are refusing to replace it before selling it.

is this worth the trouble for a potentially fucked engine?

I had a professor in art college that said a right of passage for every artist was a pin up, since it's a masterclass in human anatomy. I had always wanted to do one, but I struggled with the balance between sexy and pornographic.

I decided to take a different approach. I wanted to make a celebration of femininity and female friendship. So I did Raven and Starfire having a slumber party and makeovers (you know it was Starfire's idea.)

I like to draw in my Sketchbook when we play DnD and this was one of the sketches I did yesterday. Sometimes I take my sketches to paintings, sometimes they stay sketches. This one gets to see the light of the internet!

Thanks for the character suggestion! Astrid was very fun to do. Usually, when I do portraits, I more or less trace the positions and size of the features to make sure it's accurate. With the one, I only looked at the model (drawn on paper first, then brought into photoshop to paint.) It's not completely right, but close enough!

With my version, I drew that side first, from memory. Then I experimented with the colors. I kinda like it?

I have Alya and Anya drawn, I just have to paint them.

Hallo, dis is Svetlanna. She's a drow, looking for love. Bard in the streets, monk in the sheets.

She's an accomplished cobbler, and loves a nice sturdy pair of boots (preferably with blades in the soles). Svetlanna is a simple girl. She enjoys genuine compliments, random acts of kindness, and occasional slow human suffering. She's not particularly a fan of the sunlight or dogs.

Despite her appearance, she's not easy. She won't lay down with just any man. He really has to romance her, and earn it. Her high charisma happens to lure them in anyways.

Her mother, a Priestess of Lolth, instilled very important family values into her, like finding a very strong and capable (preferably wealthy) husband from good stock and having beautiful babies with him. Once her children are off into the world, and her husband has served his purpose (or he's a short lived species like an Orc or human) she will tenderly flay, draw and quarter, or eviscerate him.

She's looking for a 7th Mr. Right. Interested?

“Can I help you?” A young woman interrupted his thoughts. 

He glanced at her, surprised by her sudden appearance. She was a teenager, and had skin like snow and pitch black hair. Unlike the queen, however, her eyes were a glowing blue. She wore a pink dress and leggings, and looked less formal than the king and queen. 

“Uh maybe? I’m Hiccup, son of Jarl Stoick.” He held out his hand. 

She gasped a little at that, and grasped his hand. “You’re Young Master Hiccup?! You don’t look like…you’re younger than I thought.” 

“I get that a lot.” 

“Here, let me take this…” she grabbed one of the bags. “I’m Ma—“ but before she finished her sentence, the bag slipped from her hands and hit the ground, then popped open on impact, sending clothes sprawling everywhere. “Madly clumsy. I’m so clumsy!” 

Hiccup laughed. “Hey, no harm done. I could show you all the scars I’ve gotten from my own clumsiness.” He stooped and helped her pick up all the scattered clothes. “But really, what is your name? My father didn’t mention it. You’re High King Tom’s daughter, right?” 

“Yes. I’m Marinette. Please excuse me for being so nervous. You’re the son of my Jarl, er my old Jarl. Girls back home in Helgen talked about you a lot.” 

He perked up a bit at that. “They did, did they?” 

“They described you as seven feet tall and built like a tree, and how dreamy you must be.” 

“Well…they got one thing right at least.” 

During a winter hiatus from the Edge, Hiccup goes off exploring the icy wastes. He finds more than he bargained for when a witch attempts to steal his soul. Now an emotionless husk, Hiccup must depend on Astrid and Gothi to delve deep within him and unlock the aspects of his personality he’d rather keep hidden.

Meanwhile, the rest of the riders test Hiccup on how emotionless he really is.

I guess I was really excited about this fic, considering I did a cover for it! It’s good to dip back into the How to Train Your Dragon fandom!

It always starts with a simple sketch and turns into a week long project. Anyways, here's the cover to my Kingdom Hearts Fic where Sora is basically Tarzan. (If you don't know what Kingdom Hearts is, it's a videogame crossover between Final Fantasy and Disney.) I wanted them to be swinging in front of a stain glass window, but knew most of the detail would be lost...did I simplify it then? No. There's symbolism in the stained glass, but I doubt anyone wants to read the full breakdown. The summary: Ten years ago, Terra, Aqua, and Ventus lost their fellow apprentice, Sora, in Deep Jungle. Now, they are to return with two new students, Riku and Kairi, to lock the heart of the world.
