This brand new life simulation game developed by Paradox Tectonic has just released an Official Trailer, a pre-order page at Epic Games Store, screenshots & concept art!
Early Access will be starting on September 12, 2023 and pre-orders are available from today! The first 100k people who pre-order will be invited to join a private Discord channel to ask questions directly to the team behind the game.
Earlier today the developers had a 20 min long livestream where they went over some of the ideas behind the game and what to expect from the early access period. Rod Humble, general manager at the studio, that has previously worked on The Sims 2 & The Sims 3 was there to introduce us to the game.
The game itself seems to be extremely customizable with a big focus on player control and openess. Color wheels, scripting objects in game, dialog editor, no loading screens or rabbit holes etc!
More news will be arriving in the coming months!

In case you're somehow unaware, Hellenes = Greeks. They're flat out calling the clan they've stereotyped as rulebreakers and undesirables the Greeks. You know, the people that are still alive and well in 2023, living in a country that's been ravaged by foreign powers and is exploited for tourists, that's had countless artefacts stolen. Yeah.

Gonna tell ya right now...
If you play Sims 4 and like that graphic style, you're NOT going to like #LifeByYou by Paradox Tectonic. Rod Humble, I think, listened to those who were unhappy with the direction EA went on Sims 4 and catered to them. He was one of those who had full direction on the way Sims 3 went when he was at EA and thus has leaned more towards that in terms of creativity.
I'm starting to think of this as Sims 3 rebooted with way better graphics. And with the assets and DLC, this is going to stomp Project Rene (Sims 5)'s ass.
I watched the teaser trailer this morning and HOLY ****! I was blown away by the opening shot. I'm getting shades of Cities:Skylines. This is going to take away the monopoly that EA holds on the life-sim genre and turn it on its head.

I am so pumped for this. Also seems March 20th isnt the release date but rather when more info about it will be revealed, it seems.
Finally a big company doing a life sim, makes sense it would be Paradox since they already provided the world with an alternative to Sim City.
Btw, they also announced Cities: Skylines 2
