Using a fake name because there are people on who will probably figure out my actual name and who I am, based on the type of blog this is. Eons ago, when the world was sans pandemic, I ran a semi-popular sideblog for the show Pretty Little Liars. I was, uh, obsessed. I made a side blog of the girls and people would send in questions for each character and/or couple.
Sometimes people would ask personal questions or vent. That’s OK, too! Just be polite and respectful of others. I won’t tolerate hate, ignorance, or bigotry. This blog is a safe space for 16+ because of the ‘ship’ content, but nothing violent or very sexual. Any posts of that nature will have a warning on it.
This blog is LGBTQ+. Hardly any heterosexual shops.
Anyway, I’m hoping this blog will help get the creative juices flowing and get me back into writing and RPing.
Onto my fandoms and accompanying couples!

Maddy's WLW movie recs.
Crush
2022 Romantic Comedy.
Teen lesbian rom com. I have watches this more times than I've watched most movies. It's unapologetically queer, it's awkward, and it's fun as hell.
Notes: Apparently Rowan Blanchard was super biphobic toward Auli'i Cravalho during filming-- so that sucks. But also weird because she came out as queer a while ago so idk?
Moon rating, because everyone knows the moon is a lesbian.
3/4 moons.

i won’t shut up about Crush because it is everything i could’ve wanted in high school. no, it’s not perfect, but it is all i could’ve asked for.
there’s no homophobia, no coming out plotline. the drama is just regular teenage relationship drama.
all of my friends got their high school romcoms growing up, they got to see themselves on screen. they didn’t have to search through tiktok, tumblr, twitter, or whatever other social media to find movie recommendations for their sexuality. they didn’t have to struggle to find queer friends in the first place, and then ask for movie recs through them, just to find some low-budget, no plot, only there for the fetishization of their sexuality.
i can count on one hand the sapphic romcoms that i enjoy, that are trauma-free and everything a hetero romcom would have including the token straight friend.
i cried watching the movie and not because of the movie but the fact that kids can grow up with this representation, when i didn’t get it. i’m only 21, there’s not that big of an age difference between me and high schoolers watching this, but that 5 year difference is so big for me, especially growing up in a small town more on the conservative side. if i had had a movie like Crush when i was 16, being able to feel like it was normal to be who i am and see myself represented on screen, i can’t imagine how different my high school experience would’ve been.
Crush movie is so f cute and cheesy u cant tell me otherwise. No dragging drama, not a man involved between their love triangle, not a single homophobic remark, got a very supportive and badass mom. Just a happy movie for the us queers. idc if its predicable ive been spoon fed hetero cringey ass movies and show growing up i deserve to enjoy this movie.
