A few TWAB’s ago, Luke Smith took some time to run through changes to our philosophy in doling out rewards through the various activities of Destiny 2.
Hit the article again if you’d like a refresher on vanity, cosmetics, and more. Today, we’ll be focusing on core playlist rewards (strikes, Gambit, and Crucible).
To quote the article, here’s what you can expect on November 10:
We are adding a new set of Armor for the core playlists (strikes, Gambit, and Crucible).
This armor shares a set of new geometry, with decals and shaders specific to the activity.
We will create new sets like this each Year (e.g., Year 4, Year 5, Year 6, etc.)
This set will arrive alongside the next expansion.
This armor can be earned by completing activities or through vendor rank-ups. Weekly challenges are also being updated to offer avenues for players to earn higher-stat packages for these armor sets.
Additionally, Year 4 will see the return of pursuit weapons. For those of you who may have joined our community in the last Season or two, these weapons have static perks, but allow for some customization. The final two perk columns have multiple perks to choose from, so you can tailor your weapon to your desired playstyle. Our eagle-eyed Guardians may recognize this beauty from a recent Stasis trailer….
Our goal is to have a pursuit weapon available per Season, earned through a focused quest. Banshee will give you a choice between Strikes, Crucible, or Gambit to earn the base model. Make sure you take a moment to think about how you want to earn the weapon, as you'll be locked in to specific objectives for whichever activity you pick.
Once you finish the main quest, Commander Zavala, Lord Shaxx, and the Drifter will offer you an additional quest which will reward you with weapon ornaments to the theme of their respective activities. If you’re omnivorous and enjoy all three offerings, all three will be available to you.
So, now that we've caught your eye with some fancy armor and a new sniper, let's take a quick look at how things are changing for core activities as you launch into your new adventures on November 10. Strike, Gambit, and Crucible playlists are being streamlined.

Starting in Season 12, the Director will be updated to reduce the number of playlists available at a given time.

Each playlist will continue to offer weekly challenges for Powerful loot.
Nightfall: The Ordeal will continue to feature matchmaking at lower difficulties, and increased rewards for higher difficulty options.
Note: We’re also looking to add Adept weapons to strikes in a future Season. We’ll have updates closer to Season 13 on what to expect.
Gambit
As covered last week, Gambit and Gambit Prime will be consolidated into a single mode. We have some additional details on specific rule changes, as well as development notes from the team on how things are changing, and the goals behind them.
Hi Gambiteers! We wanted to give you an explanations of rules changes coming to Gambit in November, as well as a key update from last week.
First, some goals we wrote down before we started:
Build a more approachable Gambit Prime, keeping the one-round format with a longer round, but without the Gambit Prime armor perks.
Rebalance the motes phase to last 2/3 of each match, rather than half of the match.
Speed up the Primeval fight (compared to Gambit Prime) to give more of the feeling of a ‘boss rush.’
We started with the Gambit Prime encounters, full stop. However, without the Reaper buffs, the Large bosses that come in enemy waves were too tanky – so we pulled them all down to miniboss or elite. The pacing should feel like how Gambit feels for a pickup group, or how Prime feels for a fully kitted team.
We also playtested the “having the motes” phase target a score of 150, and/or have a heavier mote drain, but this allowed organized teams to steamroll even more effectively – not less. So, we pulled back to the current Gambit Prime mote target and drain.
We started with the Gambit Prime Blockers, but pulled the Taken Captain from the Blocker lineup, as he proved a little too potent for a 10-mote Blocker. We replaced him with the Phalanx, who can be tough to kill, but not as lethal. Since we don’t have the armor perks, we also had to remove the 20-mote Giant Blocker.
We kept the invasions during mote phases at three – just like Gambit Prime – but pulled back the minimum time between invasions during mote phases from 10 seconds to 20 seconds. It never feels good to get invaded back-to-back.
For the boss fight, we started with the Gambit Primeval fight, removed the timed Slayer buffs, increased the Primeval health and potency of the slayer buff given by when killing envoys. We respawn the envoys every 40% damage done to the Primeval – so if you get invaded and the Primeval is healed a lot, you have the opportunity to get more Slayer buffs and catch up. The fight length ends up somewhere in between the original Gambit and Gambit Prime, so we adjusted the invasion timer during the Primeval phase to match – right in between Gambit and Gambit Prime timing.
So, overall this mode will be a little quicker than Gambit Prime – mostly due to shortening of the boss phase and the removal of the larger bosses from the fronts, but one that still gives that great Gambit feeling that you all love.

Economy, Eververse, Sandbox, and more. We’re looking forward to talking about things like solo queue Iron Banner, but we have a few things left to tie up as we approach launch.

THE NOBLE QUEST TO VANQUISH ALL BUGS
Destiny 2 Update 2.9.2 shipped this Tuesday, and the Player Support team has been prowling the #Help forum in search of fresh bugs to smash. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like there are any major issues cropping up!
This is their report.
Players will no longer freeze when respawning in Gambit.
Enemies will no longer stop spawning in Hexahedron area in the Prophecy Dungeon, blocking players from progressing.
Players who completed Tommy's Matchbook catalyst pursuit will no longer be re-awarded it.
Redrix’s Broadsword will now be available to reclaim from Collections.
Players will no longer block quest progress by acquiring Calcified Light without the quest active.
CURRENT KNOWN ISSUES
While we continue investigating various known issues, here is a list of the latest issues that were reported to us in our #Help Forum:
Player badge counts will sometimes not update when the Season of Arrivals Collections badge is completed.

I'd asked for people to send in ideas and prompts for either oneshots or drawings and @princeasimdiya12 brought the great idea of Shiro and Allura in the Aladdin world!
I ended up going a little wild with this and instead of my expected 1,000 words, I finished this at a little over 4k 😅 And I might just rewrite the whole movie in fact, the main premise of street rat meets princess would still be there but fundamental points would be changed. So at least for now, until I decide whether I will do that or not, enjoy what I've written! Also posted on my archive account.

Princess Allura has lived her whole life within the walls of the palace, never able to stray far from her parents’ ever watchful and cautious eyes. She dearly loved her parents and their dear Grand Vizier and close companion Coran. In fact, everyone in the palace was almost as close as family and as dear to Allura as one.
But having to stay within the same area for each increasing year of life with no sign of it changing brought her increasing irritation. As the years of pleading to her father, King Alfor, for a small trip to the marketplace was met with rejection time and time again she decided it was now time to ask for her father’s forgiveness rather than his permission.
It was after an especially aggravating meeting with a potential suitor that she decided to execute her plan. He was just one of many recently. She had guessed that it was because alliances were needed to prevent or to side with in an upcoming war – but of course, asking her father only resolved into him giving her a pat on the head with a hearty laugh. The prideful Prince Lotor seemed to be within a few years of her age but he hadn’t had a chance to tell her just how close in age they were as one of her preciously cared for big cats had found his unsuspecting butt to be a fun chew toy.
Being the only beloved daughter of the king brought many eyes onto Allura, and so for her protection from any fearful situations, her father sought the finest pedigreed and ferocious felines to accompany his princess. She had one of each and she was aware how honoring this was. Rather than just the extraordinary Tiger that roams her lands, she had raised and tamed four other species of the world. Powerful and beautiful big cat species, each carrying a name that she as a child had given.
There was the largest, her homeland’s tiger that her younger self had named Black, the seemingly second in command was a fiery-spirited Jaguar she named Red – who's temper set him above the milder mannered but wide-set Lion she had lovingly named Yellow. The Leopard named Blue was a constant bothering creature to Red, cajoling the larger cat into chases, usually growing into a playful scrap between them and the smaller but lively Lynx Allura had named Green after finding it when it escaped into the greenery of the garden as a kit. She used her youth and having just learned colors as an excuse for the simplistic names in standards to what her father and her people expected her to name such magnificent beasts.
With so many wild hearted personal guards around her, it was difficult to climb the trees in her personal garden in the palace without them trying to snag her cloak’s edge or join her on the branch. But she had succeeded after some time and shushing the frantic mewls and rumbles of her many animal companions. But she was able to exit the castle, the guards distracted by the dramatic long haired prince’s commotion had drawn their focus momentarily from her strictly guarded wall.
She leapt from the top of the wall, landing roughly with a roll. The dusty road and breeze that carried up from it revealed, not the rich satins and silks she was used to wearing, but the still-finer pants and dresswear of a servant of the princess. Although with her hair tied and hidden underneath a dark strip of fabric she may not be recognized as the princess herself, but she would still be seen as a higher noble by those who paid attention.
Walking distractedly and being shoved by the many people thronging the busy marketplace was more than new to her. There were very few people – even in the castle – who would find themselves in close presence to her royal self, so this new environment – although shocking – was not quite awful when she had longed to not be so isolated.
She had approached one of few stalls selling fruit in a ripe and fresh state where a small dirt mottled child stood with his eyes glued to one of the many fruits held on the distracted vendor’s display. He seemed to have something to do with a trio of people popping up and around his shop and disappearing quickly. Without hesitation, the young woman looked over for the largest and in best shape apple on display. She gently grabbed the solid red fruit and squatted down to be eye level with the child and gave it to him with a smile.
The vendor, seemingly no longer distracted with what had been happening around him, told her the price of that one fruit. It was six Dinar. Allura, having no need for carrying any form of currency before hadn’t been prepared for such a small scale of funds. As she paused to think of how she could pay with what she brought he had grabbed her wrist in anger. The vendor held tightly to her wrist as she tried to think of a way to explain to him that she would pay, he just needed to let her wrist go.
Although not having the funds in a currency sense, she did carry with her a small hidden satchel of jewelry. Surely solid gold and gem rings and earrings would be well worth six Dinar at least. Currently she had thought to the smallest one she had in her direct possession to be a reasonable exchange for the fruit. A small golden ring that no longer fit any of her fingers. It had a Spinel gem inlay and was given as one of many birthday presents in her early years.
She stumbled over her words, the anxiety of being suddenly grabbed had her thoughts racing faster than she could speak. With her seemingly unable to give the vendor an excuse, he called for the market place’s patrolling soldiers to approach. Rather than the soldiers, a large body slipped between the vendor and the disguised princess. He – in the shock of the moment – was able to release her grip from the vendor and started to defend her, holding her released wrist in his hand now. She couldn’t see anything other than his broad back – much like the soldiers she well knew – and the surprisingly pale skin it was wrapped in from underneath his roughly worn clothes.
The soldiers were approaching as the strange man was seemingly telling the vendor some story of them being acquainted in some way or another. There was a moment’s pause as she wondered why the mood was getting anxious and enraged. All this over an apple?
“She’s my dear cousin and had gotten confused. We came here to talk to a doctor for her mind.” He turned to her with a desperate look that Allura didn’t quite understand. Did he want her to play along? The soldiers were now much closer to them in the ever-surging crowd.
“That may be so, but I can easily pay for an individual fruit.” Allura spoke and tugged her hand free to grab the small pouch from its hiding place in her robes. “What I was trying to tell you sir, was that I was going to pay you. I just needed to reach my purse.” She reached into the small pouch and set the ring in the impatiently outstretched calloused hand of the man on the other side of the wooden display. At the sight of the yellow gold and shining gem both of the men held shocked faces that the vendor – now gnawing on the ring to test it – had barely registered the almost full approach of the two soldiers.
When the ring passed the vendor’s quality, he waved his had to dismiss the two-armed men. Allura let out an internal sigh of relief. With how close they were to the palace it was safe to say that at least one of the two would recognize their royal family.
“Now, dear customer, haha. Is there any other of my wares that catch your eye?” The vendor now asked, his voice now sweet and giving. Hm.
“N-" “Of course.” The strange man interrupted. “She will be getting her rings full worth of your produce and then we will be on our way.” He paused for a moment “to the doctor.” He supplemented after a thought. The vendor’s smile turned to a sneer at the large man’s words, but merely waived his hand.
With an exaggeratingly pleased “thank you" the man and passed a large armful of apples, grapefruit, plums and he himself carried two sizeable watermelons. They left, the man giving a small bow for a farewell and her staring at the marketplace vendor who smiled largely at her before she turned and followed the man with the watermelons.
It took some time catching up to him. He had very long legs and thick cords of muscle on each, giving him a fairly wide and powerful stride.
“Even though he charges exceedingly high for his goods, you were able to get a week's worth of food from just a small ring. Where did you get it?” He asked happily. Six Dinar was high for an apple? What was regular pricing then?
“It was mine… as a child.” She slowly gave out the truth. They kept walking, the streets now well less populated than before. “I didn’t have any Dinar, so I had to use it in exchange.”
“A childhood ring? It must have been part of your dowry.” He seemed to want to say something else but held his tongue “many people here have to use everything they have just to eat. Some even give the clothes on their backs for a crumb of bread… you were lucky you had that… save it well.” He decidedly spoke the words, but Allura could still detect a hint of his resistance of saying such words.
“Well then. Let us go and give some of these fruits of yours and mine labor to them.” The exotic looking man turned to her in shock, “I have no need for them. I intended to just use that ring to buy a young boy an apple, but I had greatly underestimated the worth of such a small ring.” He had fully turned and stopped his walking to stare at her now and she too stared at him, taking in his features.
He had black hair, as black as the stripes on her tiger, with a streak of pure white through a section of his hair. His eyes were naturally thin, even with his eyes widened staring at her they still seemed foreign to hers – along with the slight slant they seemed to hold. He had a large pinkish scar across the bridge of his nose, very noticeable against his extremely pale skin. The only time Allura had seen such a color was on foreign dignitaries from lands that were seas away. It gave her many questions.
“Well, let us go.” She said after a long pause and clearing of her throat. It may just be the heat and the sun, but her face felt oddly warm under his gaze.
“You were leading me somewhere. Do you not want to go there any more?” He blinked quickly a few times and looked to the fruit in his hands and nodded.
“Ah, yeah! Uh, follow me... We – I'll take you to my friends.” He stumbles over his words and gestures with his shoulder to follow him and she does, “Just … stay close to me. The streets can be a little hard to navigate in the evening.” It was at his words that she noticed; the sky was indeed much darker than it had been when she left. Night was still hours away, but it was quickly approaching. And with that, she and the man – who she learned was named Takashi Shirogane. It was a very strange name and she felt embarrassed at not being able to pronounce it properly. He – with an understanding and generous laugh – allowed her to call him “Shiro” like his friends did. They climbed up boxes and rung ladders until they were crossing roofs and leaping over gaps.
More than one leap had left Shiro gaping at the mysteriously shrouded woman as she leaped with nothing more than a slim pole and the fruit tied tightly into a bundle in her hooded cloak. All he could see was her face, but even if he couldn’t see that he could still tell that she was an elegant and beautiful lady.
They arrived at the doorway of a building made of a tan stone material that was a little more than worse for wear. And he led her farther up the stairs... well, he started to. She hesitated before climbing with him – of course she was wondering if he was a dangerous individual, after all they had just met! But he paused a few steps in and turned to her. As he did so, she heard a rush of feet echo from the top of the stairwell along with an accompanying chatter.
Shiro laughed and spoke to whoever the feet belonged to before turning to Allura and shifting one of the watermelons to join the other in his grip. Now having a free arm, he gently held it out. She softly grasped the tips of the fingers as he directed her around the collapsed beams that blocked a portion of the path up the steps. As she did, she noticed how stiff the fingers were. They were too stiff for a human hand and out slipped out a curious hum before she noticed to stop it.
He smiled again at her and she dipped beneath and around large wooden timbers that laid felled between broken slabs of the roof and wall. What was once exposed and now lay broken at her feet was patched with boards of wood and thick canvas.
It smelled of spice and wood and what might have been stiflingly hot in the day was now cooling into a mild warmth as the sun was now painting the sky with golds and reds. As Allura’s head peaked above the surface of the higher level, she was greeted to the feet, legs and then bodies of three other individuals. Shiro passed the watermelons he held to the black-haired individual who stared at Allura stiffly and with suspicion.
“Is... this your home?” She asked with a pause. It was more of a sort of awe rather than any negative emotions. It was dusty and had chipped pottery bunched together on slabs of what she assumed to be the roof like the other fallen pieces. It was worn in and was clearly a place of residence. As Shiro confirmed her question, his tall and lithe companion grasped her hand and gave her an exaggeratedly suave greeting and attempted a kiss to her fingers but was taken down with a harsh yank by the third new stranger. A small wiry androgynous individual who had some slips of glass settled on their nose wrapped in thin strips of metal.
There was a distinct similarity among them all despite their greatly varying appearances. It took Allura a moment to notice that it was the look in their eyes. It was a bright fire that seemed to lighten the room around them.
They passed a brief greeting where she had learned all of their names. They had indeed come from all over the continent like she had wondered and became a sort of found-family – as they had described it – as they searched for the smallest (surprisingly) adult’s family. They had each introduced themselves as Keith being the wary raven-haired man, Lance was the tall and animated man and Pidge was the small woman looking for her brother who shared many features.
Allura, though having not seen him before, said she would keep an eye out in the case she could reunite the siblings. And with that, Allura had remembered the fruits she tied in her cloak and offered them to the many surely hungry people that shared the dilapidated home. After some refusal and her ceaseless insisting to take it. And just as suddenly as they had appeared, the three people left the room to take the fruit to wherever they kept their food with Pidge turning partway through the door to give a wide smile and a playful slight bow. This had caused Allura to flinch reflexively. Did she know? Had Shiro seen?
Allura turned to Shiro, the glimmer of meeting so many new people at once in her eyes. Her unrestrained joy made him smile and he wanted to wow her more than this evening had already done so far.
What could he do? What could he show her? He- oh. That will work... He thinks to himself glancing out the window.
“Um... I don’t know - come over here, I’ve got something to show you.” He motioned with his wooden hand. The stiff wood shaped in a relaxed hand so he can place things if needed. Had she noticed it? She hadn’t said anything if she had, she just approached him as he stepped over to the window.
He was nervous as he started speaking again, “Our home isn’t much... but it’s cool at night and it has a breeze during the day... so it isn’t as hot as it could be...” He trailed as he tried to think of an interesting way to tell her what he wanted to show her.
“My friends and I, though we aren’t as well off as many, we have this place. And it may not be much, but it has the best view I’ve ever seen.” He pulled back the wide strip of fabric that was used to cover the doorway, rather than a window, it was so large.
As the patched fabric moved from the window, golden light of beautiful shades flooded into the room. Allura’s eyes hurt from the sudden brightness for only a second before the mass of colors filled her chest with what she had been missing in the palace.
The palace... that she could see. The palace that broke the magical sunset into beams that shot into all directions around it. And it was as beautiful inside it as it looked now... but she still could not hold back her lips twitching into a frown.
“It’s beautiful.” He sighed as he stared at the highlighted building. - “It is.” She agreed softly.
“I wonder what it would be like to live there.” He dreamily mulled over the thought. “I’m sure it’d be amazing. - “It could be smothering.” She brought up.
“Never having to dress yourself, eating meat every day and wearing the finest of things.” He turned to her, noticing her annoyed face. “Yes, never getting to dress for yourself, fed and cared for like a pet.” she responded bitterly.
“It’d be better than struggling to eat each night. Having to steal just to avoid starving in the night. Where any moment the guards will come to snatch you up on any charge they claim.” He stepped further inside, dropping the curtain and letting the yellow light slip back behind the curtain.
“Never allowed to step out of line without fear of a harsh punishment...” She sighed.
“You’d feel so...” they spoke in sync, “trapped.” They finished while holding each other’s gaze.
Shiro looked at her again. Not just seeing the beauty who shrouded herself in dark clothes, but seeing the girl she also was. A young woman who had clearly fled somewhere and was unprepared for the world she stumbled into, tired and nervous of what was to come and what had already.
“So... where are you from...?” He trailed, watching the exhaustion slip from her face to be replaced by annoyance.
“Does it matter?” She roughly asked, “I’m not going back... ever.” The finality in her tone caught Shiro in surprise.
“Wh-why do you feel that way?” He asked softly, hoping that his asking would help relieve her stress and calm her down.
Allura stared for a moment at him, seeing no sign of mock or ill intent – but it was his honest concern that seemed to stick with her the most. It was something that even her closest and most friendly servant Romelle didn’t have... the care of an equal. Everyone in the palace always held her two levels above themselves solely because she was the princess.
Since he didn’t know... she was almost seen as a real person with him.
“My father wants me to marry. And I do not love the man” She didn’t break her stare on him as she told him. His face changed into many expressions in a flash before settling on sorrow.
“That... that isn’t right. That’s awful...” Shiro almost whispered as he turned to glance at the window, the light behind the curtain now a deep orange and almost seemed to stain their fingers from where it poked through the well-worn fabric.
“Yes. That is why I left.” Allura picked up a small red cap that was set on the window sill beside her.
“Well... if you’d like... you ca-” Allura wouldn’t hear the rest of his offer, as just when he was saying it there was a loud shout from the stairwell.
“You! STREET RATS! We’ve found you!” Called a hate-filled voice. Shiro knew who held the voice well, as it was he and Lance who did most of the “food runs” but Allura – who had never known a day out of wherever she came from – would not recognize the head of the guard.
“The royal guard!” Shiro called loudly, shockingly looking at Allura when she called “Razoul!”
The captain of the guards seemed to register her call a little bit – but did not glance away from Shiro.
Razoul had learned that even blinking with the bicolored haired individual could give him time to disappear.
“Street rat! It’s time for you to face punishment!” He spat. “You have crossed the line this time and you will pay with your life!”
Shiro was confused, and said as much. “I didn’t steal anything! The fruit was legally obtained!”
“You can barely say as much with the bloody gold that you used you vulgar filth! I will kill you myself!” Allura looked confusedly from Razoul to Shiro, never having heard such cruel joy in the usually docile man.
“Wait!” She called. But neither the captain of the guard, nor his accompanying guards even looked at her.
“You will not be unpunished too, street mouse!” He pointed his sword tip at her, “You associate with this scum and as such are just as guilty as him for what has transpired tonight.”
“What did I do that warrants this?!” Shiro yelled. Behind his solid words, Allura heard the softest of padded steps above her. That’s why he was yelling. Extraordinary... he was seemingly willing to give everything for them.
“You have kidnapped her royal highness, the princess Allura! An unforgivable crime worthy of death!” Razoul shouted, seemingly angrier than he just was. “What have you done with her?!” Shiro looked dumbfounded.
“I've never even met the princess! Why do you think I kidnapped her?!” Shiro stepped back, real fear now peaking up from under his stiff bravado.
“You and your grimy pack of rats used a very distinct ring to pay for your latest bounty.” Razoul was suddenly eerily calm as he spoke.
“How was it distinct? It was simply a golden band!” Allura called confused. Razoul turned to her, face flushing red yet his voice still the calm level that chilled her blood.
“There are many identifying traits of anything belonging to the royal family. Especially when I know what to look for.” He raised the slim ring as the light winked weakly off of it in the dark home. "You street rats think that you are so smart, but you never think to check the gem.”
At this, Razoul gripped the ring tightly in his left hand as he swung his sword with his right. It easily sliced through and smashed the timber that Allura had previously ducked under when she entered. Razoul approached Shiro, Allura tried to block him or stop him but was only shoved out of the way.
She did not fall, but had stumbled back at his harsh treatment.
“I demand that you leave that man alone Razoul.” She spoke coldly. The captain of the guard seemed to realize something. He clearly showed doubt over what he had heard and turned to analyze her face carefully.
“Who... are you to demand that of me?” He looked over her face, but seemed to still not be able to recognize her, so without hesitation Allura unbound her head and threw the wrap to the side. This revealed her silvery blue hair, having only been pulled back but not restrained caused a few strands to fly loose and show the full length of what was a clear indicator of her heritage.
Razoul’s eyes widened in shame and recognition and he and his fellow men dropped to their knees and dropped their weapons, each begging for her forgiveness and offering their lives.
“I am the only princess of this country, the daughter of your leader and king, Alfor. I am Princess Allura. And I was NOT kidnapped.” She spoke, the strict and cold tone of a sovereign addressing her vassals that she had been raised to use had caused Shiro to gape at her. She gave him a thin smile, sad to bid farewell to the freeing moments she had up until it was forced out from under her.
She turned back to Razoul, no longer the “street mouse” she had become within that dark cloak, instead she was the crown princess as she had been born to be and as she would surely live the rest of her life as before until becoming merely someone’s wife.
With a soft farewell directed to Shiro, Allura led the escort of guards to the gates of the Palace where her father would surely do what he could so she couldn’t “get kidnapped” again.

Crystalline || Male! Elsa x Reader || Chapter 2

*Chapter 2*
The ship jolted to a halt as it reached the docks' wooden platform. From my seat, I watched a group of sailors drop the weighty anchor into the ocean. Once they confirmed that it was safe to leave the boat, everyone stood up carefully grabbing their luggage.
"Arendelle is so beautiful! I've forgotten how wonderful the weather felt!" My gaze landed on the castle's roof peeking out of the gates and houses.
'It's been a while, hasn't it?' I smiled looking at the Arendelle castle in the distance.
Over time, I lost my shyness over the years while I spent my time at my parents' bakery. Interacting with customers at the desk and delivering pastries at the door. Talking to others has not been much of a problem, but I still do become exhausted when I get too overstimulated.
A cool draft of air blew through my hair as I spun around freely feeling the warm sun on my skin. I heard hushed giggle from the passengers I came to a stop to grab the handle of my suitcase, following behind the line of people to the exit.
The captain of the ship escorted people out and gave me a friendly, toothy grin. He had a suit decorated with certain patterns to reflect Arendelle's symbols and colors of purple and green.
Excited chatter among the passengers were getting louder once they entered into the streets, scattering into different groups.
"Of course, miss! This week is the crowning of Prince Elias for king. Thankfully, the weather has been wonderful as of late."
I paused, my eyes widening. Oh my goodness. 'Elias?'
My memories started to flood back into my mind. I haven't seen him in years. I faintly remember the shy, blonde-headed boy and our childish escapades in the castle.
'Hey, do you want this flower? I picked it in my grandma's garden outside and I want to give it you'
'A-Are you sure? You know my powers are going to freeze it...'
My small hand politely shoved the honeysuckle closer to his face.
'It doesn't matter! That means you can keep it with you forever and ever! You won't be sad when I have to go back to my grandmother.'
The boy's cheeks flushed a light shade of pick as he accepted the flower. His powers activated encasing the delicate petals into ice. I was in awe of the flower's new appearance that resembled a snowflake.
I sighed, pushing back the memory.
"The future king of Arendelle, you say?"
"Yes, everyone has made preparations for the celebration. Many nobles from neighboring nations have been invited to the ball. Although us commoners aren't invited to the ball, we'll still participate in events organized throughout the city."
Elias. It's all happening today, isn't it? Guilt started to grow as I realized how much time we were apart from each other. I left him alone again. I left him so suddenly.
"Thank you so much for escorting me." I say, curtsying.
"It was no problem at all, miss. Just doing my job." The man tips his hat with a gentlemanly smile before he walked away to converse with his crew.
I steadily walked off of the boat and onto the dock my shoes tapping against it until my feet reached the cobblestone of the shopping district. My sight was soon filled with colorful ribbons and banners of the Arendelle family crest from lamp posts.
The smell of comforting and spice baked goods danced across the air. Children were playing in the streets as adults talk about their day and the upcoming coronation.
My eyes laid upon vendors with flower wreaths dangling on their arms as they walked to passersby strolling in the market. I thought back to another of me and him together. A memory of which I placed a flower wreath upon his head. His smile was so sweet and I held that memory dear to my heart.
All of this was happening so suddenly for him and I wasn't there to see him grow up and become a king. Although years have gone by, I could only imagine how he must be feeling since I remember his quiet and reclusive nature.
Following landmarks around the town, I was able to find the place I was looking for. I arrived at an old, but clean cottage that was covered in vines with a garden surrounding the front of the home.
"Grandma! It's me (Y/N)! I'm back!" I called out before dropping my luggage on the pathway to fix myself up.
An old woman with a scarf around her head came out, greeting me with a kind smile and arms wide open.
"My sweet snowflake! I've missed you so much!" I was soon engulfed in a warm hug, but was surprised when she hugged me even tighter. She stopped to face me just to pepper my face with kisses as I laughed out loud.
"Why haven't you visited your poor grandma, hmm? You didn't want to see a withered old witch?" She said jokingly chuckled as she pushed herself away to get a look at me. Her hands clutching onto my arms as she smiled at me waiting for an answer.
"No, that wasn't the reason at all! I had to stay back in Lowenthal to finish school. I actually came back here to live with you and manage your florist business."
Mother and father wanted me to stay and finish school as a botanist, but they were willing to let me go to live a quiet life with my grandmother. In return, they wanted me to write a letter to them once a month to make sure I was doing well.
"Ah. I see then." she replied as she excitedly ushers me inside the house almost pushing me over by accident.
"Well, come in! I've prepared your favorite food!"

It was already late lunch when I brought my things inside my bedroom. I sighed dropping my bags as my curious eyes wandered around the room. Memories of staying inside the room started to arise. I could still remember it being exactly the same when I visited years ago.
The bed had soft blue sheets with intricate designs of a serene moon being surrounded with stars. The covers remained the same, but appeared to look brighter from the sunlight from the window.
Near the window, I reminisced a younger me sitting crosslegged on the floor with a porcelain tea set detailed with pink flowers. Across from me was a stuffed animal. Now, the stuffed plush of a maroon dog with button eyes sat on top of my wooden dresser instead.
Once I got everything unpacked and settled in, it was time for me to enjoy some lunch after a week of traveling overseas. Eating food on the ship wasn't a fun experience at all since the waters rocked the ship back and forth a lot. The seasickness after a meal was unbearable and I shivered at the thought.
As I walked through the house to go outside to the garden, fond memories of playing with my grandma's trinkets (which she was surprisingly okay with) and helping her make cakes. My small body being covered with pink frosting. I remember being so much free during those times.
My grandma decided to eat lunch outside since the weather has been so pleasant lately. I looked around at the garden surrounding us with familiar soft shades yellow and purples.
Plates of my favorite childhood food were nicely arranged on the table. I sat down in my seat which held a nice view of other cottages near ours.
A smile crept on my face as my eyes landed on my grandma carrying a plate of tarts, the fruity smell coming from them was so nostalgic.
"How has Arendelle been since I've been away?" She asked, setting the plate on the table before taking her seat opposite of me.
"Oh, a lot of things happened since you were gone,"
"Was it something bad?"
"Well, a few years prior, we received awful news," she paused, sighing. "King Agnarr and Queen Iduna perished in a shipwreck. They were traveling to visit an ally of Arendelle. The kingdom was heavily heartbroken by the news."
My heart ached hearing those words as I nervously bit my lip. Although I wasn't present in Arendelle during the time, news of their death spread to neighboring kingdoms. Elias must have been so devastated. And his brother, Andre, too must be suffering. I remember Elias telling me about his younger brother who was a
"But in light of this, Prince Elias will become the next ruler of Arendelle," she paused. "Unfortunately, we've never seen what he looks like. He's been hidden from the public eye.
I know why he was hidden too. He had told ME years ago that his parents, the King and Queen, found his powers to be harmful towards others. So instead, they hid him away and told him not to feel.
You knew that it was an awful idea, but what could you do? They tried their best to protect him, but in the end, it made him worse. Elias had confided in me when he felt lonely. Although his parents locked him away, he was so happy that I was there for him and that he didn't feel alone anymore. But since years have passed, I doubt he could hold up without me.
Grandma patted my shoulder to get my attention.
"Sweetheart, I have a job for you to do. Can you deliver these flowers to my gardener friend at the castle? You could after we eat together and I know how much you missed your friend." Her hands gently passed a beautiful bouquet to me as my eyes went wide with excitement.
'I could see him again!'
I nodded my head. "Of course I will. His special day is coming."
'But...does he still like me after leaving him?'

Lucien and I were met first with a washover of festive sounds in the streets, muffled no longer once the heavy doors of the smith shop groaned outward; a few common percussion and wind instruments playing along with loud, happy-drunk singing, laughing, and cheering. As it had at roughly the same time the previous nights, the air was beginning to thicken with a mostly pleasant mix of the usual scents; smoke billowing from grills and clay ovens, charred and baked goods, perfumes, and hard-partying bodies.
Immediately in front of us was a little more than a dozen laborers that were sent out for us, and standing out amid them was a stout figure— a bosmer with slicked back brown hair, wearing a brown cotton vest over a white peasant shirt that was tucked into dark brown capris, and a pair of doeskin shoes. He gave himself away when he bounced up and down as he pointed at us, shouting: “LOOK! LOOK! LOOK!” It was Dorandil, assuming the role that he had already been playing since the start of it all, except under a different name: Norabil Windthorn. “ BY AZURA! BY AZURA! BY AZURA! It’s the G—!” One of the female workers gave the bosmer a firm and deserving smack upside the head. At least he had enough brain cells to understand the message in the scolding strike and come up with a decent correction. “...Great Dancing Duo !” he finished, rubbing the back of his head, then joined the workers in helping Jahruu and Hennia with their things.
“Ah! Master Atterius and the lovely Lady Nelvani !” the voice of Ocheeva called out from our left. We turned to see four people in bronze scale armor, with burgundy cloth wrapped around their shoulders and faces, and draped over their heads to cast dark shadows over their eyes—not an inch of flesh could be seen.
Each individual called out their name.
From Ocheeva: “Stone-Scale!”
From Teinaava: “Ebon-Claw!”
From Bremman: “Denarius Saxtus!”
From Farwil: “Sreth Rellintilys!”.
In perfect unison, they saluted by pounding their right fists against their chests, bowing their heads, and shouting together: “ At your service! ”
It attracted some attention from some celebrants nearby. Those who understood that the masked man was Atterius whirled completely around and cheered ecstatically as they pointed at him. Lucien gave them a smile and wave, then urged us all to get a move on before some real crazies started coming out of the woodworks to commence a blocking and grappling frenzy— that was part of the reason why he wanted us to leave so early. The other part was the fifteen-minute walk quickly becoming a forty-minute one— there was very little flow control on the public grounds, so the pathways had become a jumbled mess far worse than anything we had encountered before— people, shoulder to shoulder, jumping and bumping into each other as they threw marigold petals into the air and at each other. The vendors were a bit more aggressive in their efforts to grab attention from people walking by—instead of just sitting behind a counter, they were actually getting in front of people and intentionally blocking their path. Thankfully, our ‘bodyguards’ did an excellent job of getting a pathway cleared for us and shielding us from an onslaught of zealous Atterius fans.
When we got through the bulk of the crowd, just a little ways past the Guild Traders, a cool flush of gratefulness went through my being and relieved the swell of rage mixed with nausea— our amusement of the inner-city partying had disintagrated when we entered the outer rim of the bulk, where the cloud of stagnant air had a mild undertone of bile, curry flatulence, and undiluted beer-sweat.
“Thank All the Powers !” I blasted as I gasped for air. I owed gratitude to military aquatics training as well, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to hold my breath for 2-3 minutes at a time. “A second longer in all of that and one of you would be wearing my eggs and bacon!”
“T’h-h-yeah!” Farwil chuckled with a cough. “Agh… I think we’d all have worn each other’s breakfasts!”
“There they are,” Lucien said, pointing to a group gathered near the first lamppost beyond the market square. All but one kept their gaze fixed on the plateau ahead— an effeminate male with long and wavy platinum-blonde hair, wearing a robe made of quilted white silk, jeweled rings on every finger, layers of necklaces made of gold and glass beads, and a steel-plated belt over a dark red sash. He motioned to the rest and pointed back at us. “By the Black Nights of Boralis! What breathtaking beauty!” he cried out, and that’s when I knew who it was: Vicente!
“Speak for yourself… Fabiere ,” Lucien replied, suppressing a chuckle he looked him up and down.
“Oh!” Vicente blasted, grappling at the shirt of his robe. “Are you talking about this old thing?? It’s so-o-o-o last week. And this sand-caked bird nest that used to be lovely locks of pure sunshine??” He fussed with his hair and looked at it with feigned disgust, before daintily slapping it away from his face with a light, hauty grunt. “I am rather embarrassed by it all… but thank you!”
There was an eruption of laughter all around, even Lucien couldn’t hold back his. Vicente was doing a good job of getting into his character.
“Astaunne is right,” Gabrelle said. “You two look amazing !”
The whole group voiced their agreement.
“Indeed… Nine still my heart,” Farwil said, “you… um… no others among us… could accentuate the finery so well.”
“Thank you, Sreth,” I replied, trying not to think about all the unshareable things that were probably going through his head, and turned to face him directly. “ Please … promise me that you’ll stick to the plan and remember everything instilled in you...by… um… your training at the Fighters Guild—our survival depends on it.”
“I’ll promise to try ,” Farwil replied, returning the back-pat in a respectful friend-and-comrade sort of way that did not give me the creepy-crawly cringes. “I’ll do what I must, if I have to do it. I’ll not forget the good point you made… about… our ‘top priority’.”
“Ah… right. Well that’s… good.” I sighed. “I just… that thing I was going to tell—“
I was interrupted by Lucien nudging me with his hip.
“What??” I snarled at the Speaker, and I was cheeky enough to glare up at him too. “I wasn’t going to actually say it yet.”
“Say what?” Farwil asked.
“Never you mind now. Just… just try to stay alive, please… please. I will… I will tell you after uh… our ‘performance’.”
I couldn’t see his face, but I sensed confusion and annoyance rising in him again. But he nodded and replied, “Alright.”
“Let us be on our way ,” Lucien said, this time using an insistent tone of voice to nudge me, and gestured for me to hook my left arm around his right. With noble grace, I accepted his arm and kept deep beneath the surface an immense thrill over its feel.
“Atterius, ” Farwil seethed.
“For the sake of appearances, sir,” Lucien whispered to him. “Please... do permit me.” Even then he preserved diplomatic humility, conscious of the Cheydinhal Sanctuary’s dependence on the Dark Brotherhood’s good relationship with House Indarys.
“Agh-h-h-fine,” Farwil replied. I sensed there was more he wanted to add to that, perhaps something similar to what he had said before back in Taneth: “Just don’t forget what I told you back in Cheydinhal!” But he probably remembered that I was short on patience with his threatening words towards LaChance and swallowed them.

Where the road began to curve towards Sentinel’s northwest entrance, we joined the steady stream of guests and entertainers making their way up the wide sandstone walkway that was built into the side of the plateau. Most arrived on rickshaws, elephants, camels, and horses, but our unit remained on foot— one of the things that Atterius was known for was his humbleness.
We were cheered on by crowds of people lining the path to the gates of Surraiah’s property. Bursts of marigold petals, several dozen at a time, flew out from people's hands and cascaded from the treetops and the ledge of the cliff wall. I almost wished I had taken my sandals off, thinking about what a wonderful textural experience it would’ve been to feel the supple flower petals crunch beneath my feet. I was distracted from the temptation by the massive drums and horn instruments blaring from the center of Surraiah's party, which could be heard from a mile in every which way; it lifted my spirits up to a height untouched by the fears that had me minutes ago, or any regard to the true identity and reality that I had left at the doors of the smith shop. I felt as though I was truly becoming the person that I was pretending to be, to the point of not giving any second thought to tightening my grip on LaChance’s l arm and giving the parent shoulder a few affectionate pats to express to him my excitement over a welcome fit for royalty.
“Enjoying yourself, Lady Nelvani?” Lucien asked, drawing up a small grin as he mildly gave return pats to the forearm hooked around his right.
“Damn right I am!” I cried out, bouncing a bit like a school-aged child as I waved back at the crowd. “Come on, Atterius! Let yourself be raptured up into the moment! We might never know a night like this again!”
“Actually… we might .”
My head snapped from the crowd and to Lucien’s masked face. “Oh? What—?”
“Hush, now,” Lucien barked through his teeth as he faked a smile, giving a quick nod to the upper end of the walkway. “We’re almost there. Get your head out of the clouds and focus on the task at hand.”
“My mind can occupy multiple places at the same time,” I argued. “Stop worrying.”
Lucien’s head whipped around and I could feel the heat of his intense scowl permeating through the mask.
I corrected myself. “I mean… yes, sir .”
We all kept an outward calm as we reached the top and followed the line of guests, but I’m sure I wasn’t the only one with a head full of hornets, watching the guards without blinking or breathing as the distance between us and them shortened, two people at a time. Whenever I felt the surface give slightly to the pressure, I smiled and acted as though the shakes were caused by sheer admirition of Surraiah’s home; the grandeur and mesmerizing details in the moulds, ceilings, and floors that spoke of a wealth that had been accumulated and preserved throughout generations.
“What’s with all the extra security??” asked someone ahead of us.
“A necessary precaution; that’s all we’re at liberty to say,” answered one of the guards, holding a clipboard up to the couple’s faces. “Negative. Move along, and enjoy your stay.”
“Thank you!”
To ease my mind, I turned my attention to the beautiful multicolored metal embellishments along the wall made of sun-bleached sandstone. But just as I was beginning to relax, Farwil gave my arm several frantic jabs with his elbow.
“What, Sreth??” I snapped at him, at a volume just under that of the surrounding clamour.
“Remnants… all of them,” he hissed.
“Remnants? You mean… daedra ?” I whispered.
“Yes.”
“Are you sure?? How can you tell??”
“It’s something they all wear to generate an illusion. I’ll explain later… when or if I can.”
I nodded, then turned to Lucien. “Did you hear what Sreth said?” I asked him.
“Of course I did," Lucien answered, phenomenally calm. "I hope he’s mistaken… but… he's likely to be right.”
"Do you think that means… you-know-who is also here?"
"It might. But that doesn't change anything. Do not, under any circumstances, deviate from the plan unless I instruct you to. Understood?"
"Yes, sir."

boardgames post
it has now been a week since geekway and it was a shitload of fun. shoutout to @hexmeridian, @bettycrockerscookbook, and @ectogeo-rebubbles for joining elzie, rosa, frozen, and I for the weekend! we had a lot of fun and played a lot of good games! here’s a collective list of what we played and my onions on each of them
(this post is REALLY LONG, this is what happens when you just play boardgames for 4 days)
Valeria: Card Kingdoms - if you’ve played Machi Koro, the mechanics will seem similar. You roll some dice, the dice dictate which citizens “activate” and give you stuff (magic, gold, attack power) and you then use those things to buy other citizens, buy domains (victory point spots that also have neat powers), or kill monsters. Machi Koro meets Thunderstone. I won this one!!! I can’t believe I won it I was seriously gonna go buy it
Sparkle*Kitty: this game is hilarious and a lot of fun. it’s a bit like uno but with princesses, dark magic, and incredibly silly spells such as “itty-bitty glitter kitty.” It also has a “Nights” version (aka, the “adult” edition) up on Kickstarter right now. we had a lot of fun playing this between games and as a filler. also, A+ on the diversity in the princesses.
Fields of Green: build a farm! each card you lay down (it’s a drafting game sort of like 7 wonders) impacts other cards or plays off how many you have nearby, but you also have to be careful to have enough water and grain to harvest your crops and feed your animals. I had a lot of fun with this one, though it doesn’t have a particularly strong aesthetic imo. farm games are always good. Ecto’s bf won this one!
Indian Summer: this one is ALL aesthetic. do you like tetris? do you like colorful autumn leaves? do you like MAKING ROOM FOR A FOX TO LIVE IN YOUR FOREST? this game is for you. it’s incredibly pretty. elzie picked this one up after the con was over
Hardback: this is a sequel (well, prequel) to a game called Paperback. make words with your cards, but now, with added bonuses for having multiple letters of one genre in it! Have multiple adventure letters? you’ll probably get extra points! Have multiple horror letters? get some free ink remover which can get you out of an iffy situation in the future! LOTS of fun, definitely an upgrade on the already-stellar Paperback. Elzie won this! (Or maybe Rosa? I forget which of them since they married)
Azul: I want to eat all of it. I went over this one in my geekway mini post a few months ago but it’s part set collection, part artistic ... it’s hard to sum up but it’s a very chill game that’s easy to play while having a conversation.
Sagrada: I feel like this game has some of the same stuff as azul but is for a more boardgamey audience. you make stained-glass windows using dice that have to match colored or numbered spots on your window, but you can’t put the same colors or the same numbers next to each other. This was probably one of the most popular games of the con and was completely sold out when I went to the vendor hall on Sunday. (I got a promo card for my trouble though)
Cytosis: THE MITOCHONDRIA IS THE POWERHOUSE OF THE CELL. THE MITOCHONDRIA IS THE POWERHOUSE OF THE CELL. THE MITOCHONDRIA IS THE P-- ok enough anyway this is a game about doing the shit cells do with synthesizing proteins into steroids or enzymes or whatever else and it’s very fun once you get the hang of it -- part set collection and part worker placement. Also, probably really good for teaching life science to eighth-graders.
Dance of the Fireflies: winner for prettiest boxart, which is some amazing Mucha-inspired shit. You’re growing flowers in your own personal garden by taking them off the flower clock (the thing in the middle) and competing to outbid your competitors for specific colors, which give you special one-time powers. Way thinkier than it looks. Frozen got this one, I believe.
Five Seals of Magic: Roll some dice! then use those dice to break magical seals, or collect spells which can augment your other dice! Play a cool fuckin wizard with an awesome familiar! I’m not sure if I’ve played any games like this before to be honest, though I’m sure if I thought about it some more I’d come up with some. Hex won this one!
Imhotep: I had played this one at last year’s geekway, I think, but I played it again one of those times when we had to split groups. This game has a little bit of pickup and delivery and a little bit of set collection, but basically every place you can send your stones to gives different points depending on how the stones are arranged. I lost pretty bad at it. I’m good at games I swear, I swear I’
Majesty: For The Realm: I’ve heard this game is sort of like another one called Splendor, but since I haven’t played that one, I didn’t have that comparison. Build a tableau by spending workers to get cards, occasionally attacking other players or benefitting off the buildings they choose to construct, and make a badass city. Rosa won this one!
Not Alone: This is one of those games where all but one of the players are playing against the last one. the final player is an alien creature attempting to assimilate the other players, shipwrecked scientists, into their planet and prevent them from ever leaving, while the scientists are attempting to outlast and outmaneuver the creature in order to survive until they are rescued. Really neat. I’ve played both sides and lost both times. Frozen bought this one.
Queendomino: played this at minigeekway and it’s still good
My Little Scythe: this one has an adorable fuckin story which is the main reason I’m posting it. A dude was playing Scythe, a good but heavy-ish worker placement game involving war and mechs in 1900s Europe, but his daughter wanted to join in. And wanted to use her my little pony figurines. Seikatsu: Set collection with birds and flowers where the angle you “view” the set from matters. Really interesting, but I don’t think I’d ever buy it -- it’s in the same school as Azul where it’s largely a chill conversation game.
The Grimm Forest: You’re a relative of the three little pigs and your job is to build 3 houses (of any type) before any of your other relatives do, using help from fairytale characters and various fabled tricks to get the job done before any of your competitors do. Nice minis, it’s one of those games where everyone picks a card without other people knowing what they’ve picked. Really long despite the simple premise, which isn’t bad, but was surprising!
Xenofera: Catch and cage amazing animal creatures to sell to noble menageries. But be careful -- everybody’s got means to sabotage your cages, steal your animals, or even kill your captains, and the winner can turn on a dime. I enjoyed this one but I’m not sure it’s one I’d buy. Very cute animals though. Almost bought some of the puff duck pins in the vendor hall
Yamatai: as a sailor in ancient Japan, it’s your job to help map out and settle this newly discovered archipelago. I’m ... not sure what I’d call this one, though it has a lot of similar DNA to Five Tribes. It’s fun! I’m bad at it.
Elzie and Rosa played a few different games from me (our group was so large we had to split up a few times) but I believe that’s everything I played from the play-to-win table, which was open Thursday through Saturday. There were some games going on on Sunday as well (I remember Hardback, Majesty, and Valeria, specifically) but then everybody had to part ways.
Was loads of fun. Don’t think we played a single stinker this year.

Y’know those snappy blurbs that you get on the covers of comics from either well-known creatives, comics news websites or high-brown periodicals? The ones that are one part heavy-handed sales pitch, one part ‘famous-mates-back-patting-exercise’, designed to entice your hard earned cash out of your pocket and into the tills of your LCBS? We’ve yet to have one of those, mostly because we don’t review as many comics as I’d like*, but for Si Spurrier and Caspar Wijngaard‘s ANGELIC, we’re going to be cheeky and presumptuous enough to come up with one of our own:
Okay, sure, it’s no Kieron Gillen quote – he’s a lot, LOT smarter and pithier than we could ever be – but we stand by it: ANGELIC is truly one of the highlights of our regular pull list each month and Si and Casper (along with crisp design work from Emma Price and some really inspired lettering from Jim Campbell) have come up with an original creation with a lot more than just a WIZARD OF OZ motif flittering around the page. This is some really meaty stuff – if you’ll pardon the expression – that sits very nicely alongside our regular purchase of Marguerite Bennett‘s ANIMOSITY (AfterShock Comics) as a true one-two punch of fantastical storytelling and social commentary.
Admittedly, very unlike the afore-mentioned ANIMOSITY, one of the big draws of ANGELIC is that it’s an all-ages book, one of the first published by Image Comics that I’m aware of, and also one of those rare beasts that has a female lead character. This means that you can buy this for your kiddiewink, safe in the knowledge that, as well as being as a right rip-roaring yarn, there’s some strong, responsible reinforcement of social and religious themes that they can take and adapt for their own judgements. Told you it was smart.

The Amberstaff Coalition, based out of Ambermill in Silverpine Forest, is an organization of mages and martials devoted to studying, teaching, and working with magic to protect and serve Azeroth. On 24th, November 2018: SAIL chairman Anil Chaudhury announced that the company should engage with two-third ferroalloy necessity for better cost-efficiency.
