You utter fool, straight into my trap card. You have no fucking idea what you've just unleashed.

Alright below are some VERY OLD info panels that I need to update sometime soon. They aren't incorrect information wise or anything, it's just old old old art.

I'm still undecided on If I need to change the species name at some point, but for now we can call them Aurians or alternatively, by their subspecies, Daylings, Nightlings, and Dusklings.

They came about because I needed a special race for a medieval fantasy setting of mine, moon and sun themed specifically. They are an open species and I try to allow everyone as much freedom with them as possible. Whether it be for people to make their own and even use them in stories if they really want to, or to make adopts and sell them. I'm pretty chill with what others want to create with them, provided no one claims the species as a whole as their own.

The sun god Soline and the moon god Nicto fled from the mainland to get away from the humans hunting down the various main deities across the continent, presumably imprisoning or killing them, history doesn't seem to know which one it was. They both settled on a distant island, then both cried over what they assumed to be the deaths of their deity friends. Those tears changed shape and turned into intelligent beings with extreme magical capabilities.

Some extra facts!: Aurian's can reproduce without the tears of either of their deities. They will take a sort of special tub or vat, fill it with water, place their soon to be child's mask in, and will add their own blood to the water. It's tradition for would be parents to sacrifice their ring finger.

Because of how they reproduce, biological sex, isn't much of a thing. Some may still have what could resemble sexual organs but its considered a mutation. Their language mostly uses gender neutral terms but some may still go by more gendered terms, This isn't a thing of "they are all canonically nonbinary" and more so of "nonbinary is considered a default for them".

I draw them as mostly humanoid but honestly, be as shapey as you want. Make furries, make abominations. Just got to make sure their masks are gold/silver, can't be taken off without killing them, and that their skin resembles the day, night, or dawn/dusk skies respectfully.

concerning the skin of Nightlings, feel free to give them galaxy skin. It wasn't shown in those simple drawings but I do often draw them with galaxies on their skin.

Although they were created for a medieval fantasy setting, I also use them for modern and, will eventually use them, for sci fi space settings as well. No issues with others using them in non medieval settings either.

Luminae

Avg height: 1.20m - 1.60m | Avg. weight: 30-60 kg | Omnivores | Semi-fossorial lifestyle | Lifespan: ~100 years

Luminae are a semi-fossorial (subterranean) species, having settlements both in the surface and underground, originated from cerrados, but expanding into most expansive valley-like biomes such as savannas and prairies. They're a small-sized biped with thick antennae sprouting above their eyes. They are furred, the thickness and texture of fur ranging from short to long, straight to curly, with their tails and necks' being longer than the rest of the body on average. However, they can also be fur less.

Their feet are long, and can swap from to plantigrade, though digitigrade is the most common locomotion method. They have long, dexterous fingers which can grow large claws made for digging. and thick padding underneath. They're great at living in packed and darker spaces, being extremely flexible and a natural sense of direction and space. They are omnivores, with a wide diet ranging from fruits, nuts, insects, larger meat, fish, and roots. Furthermore, they will also consume rocks for additional mineral sources.

The natural Aether of Luminae is Igazo Aether. This helps them with lighting up underground paths and making travelling at night easier, combined with other adaptations to the dark. Most cast their Aether through their necks or tails, but refined and precise use will use their hands instead.

Cheskel Basics

Cheskel are the most populous and influential of the sapient races on Sunit. They also took to the Crystal symbiote the best, fully integrating with it and allowing them to become highly adaptable-- to the point where the Crystal can manipulate their DNA, and Cheskel can minorly manipulate the environment around them through magic.

Basic body details under the cut!

All Cheskel have the same basic body structure, but come in a variety of body types and sizes. Nearly all Cheskel will be between 3 and 5 feet tall. Cheskel will always have ear crests of crystalline feathers, and will almost always have slit eyes, rabbit-like noses, rat-like hands and feet, and long tails unless they absorbed a different trait. Eyes and claws will usually match the feathers, but not always.

Cheskel are ambipedal, switching between two-legged and four-legged motion with ease. When upright, most walk flat-footed and will only stand on their toes for more height when needed.

Their hands and feet do not have rough pads and are highly dexterous. Their hands are symmetrical, with their outer fingers both being able to act as thumbs. Their feet do not have quite the same level of manipulation, but the toes can spread out to wrap around things for a better grip.

All Cheskel have crystal ear-feathers, but may have many more feathers located on specific places of their body. The feathers absorb energy from the environment, augmenting their health and longevity as well as giving them the ability to manipulate their environment through very minor magic. The more/larger feathers a Cheskel has, the longer it is likely for them to live and be in good health. This also directly correlates to their magic strength. Most Cheskel have between 8 and 20 feathers; having more than 25 is exceptionally rare. Most feathers are connected to muscles and nerves and are incredibly painful to remove, if not utterly detrimental to one's health.

Cheskel lay eggs, whose shells are made of a brittle compound of the Crystal microbes and calcium. These shells allow the growing embryo to absorb traits from the living beings near it and to adapt to the environment it will be born into. Cheskel will naturally lay a clutch of 1 to 6 eggs a year, but if mated (a huge social taboo) they will lay a clutch in about a week. Naturally laid eggs are inert and unfertilized, and won't hatch unless kept close to a living being for 3-4 weeks, absorbing genetic material through the shell and developing traits based on that. Fertilized eggs will hatch on their own after the same period of time.

Since Cheskel absorb traits from both beings and the environment, they can be any color or pattern, but most are fairly natural-looking.

Most Cheskel will only grow longer fur or crystal feathers in a few common places of their body.

The most common traits for Cheskel to have are manes, longer fur tufts, and crystalline feathers. Other accents like scales, horns, and normal feathers have been found; it all depends on who and where a Cheskel was raised around.

Most Cheskel have long prehensile tails, but they can have any type or number of tails.

I would like to hear your species assignment for xisuma and ex ^-^

Going to put a cut in this one cause omg it's going to be a lot.. so be prepared to read I suppose 😁😁 (came back to add after I finished writing that yes, this is pretty long..) (if you don't want to read the species info, xisuma is a voidwalker and ex is part voidwalker part Estrial)

Ok so ex and xisuma are both voidwalkers. Well ex is a little more than just a voidwalker but we'll get to that.

First up: voidwalkers + xisuma

So voidwalkers are a thing that I somewhat made up by myself (combination of me making things up and taking bits and pieces from media and other people's ideas). Basically to sum it up; there are 3 species of voidwalker end, overworld, and nether (cause yes all of the lore in my head is based on Minecraft to some degree). There are two types of end voidwalker though! Royals are one kind and the others are just called voidwalkers cause yeah idk. The main difference between royals and the others are the horns. Royals have horns and others don't (with a few exceptions but again we'll get there) so this does mean that x does not have horns. Another reason is x is actually an overworld voidwalker! So no overworld or nether voidwalkers have horns, though I'm thinking of giving nether ones like spikes or something cause nether = more dangerous in my brain (also yeah this species is slightly a wip.. oopsies).

The difference between the 3 different void walker species would be; overworld voidwalkers are a bit smaller in their void forms (most voidwalkers can shift between void forms and more human looking ones) something like a bit taller than your average human (think kinda like endermen) and have a bit more speckly star bits. They all have like average length fur here, though it's said that some of them can grow longer or shorter fur depending on their environments!

Nether voidwalkers are a bit taller, are typically more warm toned, most have spikes (yeah I'm giving them spikes actually), and have much shorter or no fur at all, some even have scales!

End voidwalkers are the biggest of the bunch, most of them towering over your average human. Royals are even bigger! My sona (weird case of both technically being a voidwalker and also not being one) is a royal and his void form is 9ft tall! These guys look the most like endermen, some of them even have purple speckles instead of white ones. Though most end voidwalkers barely even have speckles. Royals also have distinct markings and some have a weird little halo thingy in their void forms so there's no chance for anyone to confuse a royal for any other voidwalker. End voidwalkers probably have the longest fur of the bunch, it's pretty cold in the void here.

Void forms would be ones like this where the entire body is just a void (sometimes including their clothes sometimes not idk) (also impulse is here, he's not a voidwalker though)

And the more human looking ones would be like these where their tails and some extremities are voids. Each voidwalker has differing levels of void bits in this form. So some of them could only have void tails or maybe they have a lot more void, like their hair, their arms and legs, pretty much everything like their void form but theres now a bit that isn't void.

Also here's the royal markings (ft a couple other examples of voidwalkers and my sonas cat friend)

Voidwalkers live in the voids of their respective dimensions btw! Though now in the age of technology and exploration some voidwalkers live in other voids (like a nether voidwalker in the end or the overworld) and some of them don't live in the void at all! Hence the ones in the overworld getting different fur lengths based on their environments as the void stays around the same temperature everywhere (like one temperature for each dimension) so they wouldn't have changed there.

Ok I think that's all on voidwalkers.. uh if you have questions feel free to ask away I might be able to answer (if the question is "can I make my own voidwalker" the answer is always yes)

So now: evil xisuma + voidwalker hybrids

Now that voidwalkers live everywhere, there are more beings who are part voidwalker and part some other thing (maybe even multiple other things)! This is where you start getting voidwalkers with extra limbs, voidwalkers that aren't royals but they have horns, voidwalkers with slightly different features than normal, and voidwalkers who have next to no voidwalker features (a bit more rare as voidwalker genes tend to make themselves known one way or another).

Ex is not just a voidwalker, he's also an Estrial (another species I made up, they require their own post though.. too much info for just one post..)!

Ex happens to have tiny little horns (they would have a bigger pair but the voidwalker genes make them a bit smaller), fluffy ears that somewhat resemble cat ears, and a tail that's extra fluffy. It also has a pair of wings and an elemental power (provided by the Estrial genes) though most winged beings can magic their wings away for convenience (they can bring them back whenever) and ex very much does this. His elemental power is fire btw, though ex only really knows the lightning wielding aspect of this (cause lightning powers = cool and ex is cool).

Ok that should be everything.. again if you have questions do ask I will gladly answer, I like letting the thoughts out. If anyone wants to know about Estrials.. ask and you shall receive, but be prepared for another very long text post with a few images.. I'll make a species sheet for both voidwalkers and Estrials eventually (emphasis on eventually..)

The Loradans

The Loradans are a Matriarchal nomadic people who live in clans or tribes. The eldest female is usually In charge of the clan/tribe. They are very spiritual and love to share their wisdom and knowledge to whoever wants to learn.

The Loradans are often merchants who sell goods like jewelry, clothing, spices, foods, live stalk and more. They do not belive in owning land since they believe the land does not belong to any living being. It's one of the many reasons why they are nomadic.

Female Loradans are often brown or tan in color while the males are brighter or have more noticeable coloration. The males are larger than the females and have a larger headcrest and longer dread-like appendages. The male's coloration, headcrest and dreads are for attracting a mate.

Loradans trade with Loreirrans regularly.

The tan Loradan is named Rose sand and the blue Loradan is named Lotus.

A Reel i Made for Instagram of how the relationship of Danny with her Father is❣️

💙as implied, Danny and Dan are going through a difficult time, both emotionally and financially. You could say that someone who hurt his family a lot is going to have an appeal in the events of the story, so the tension is HIGH in all the Floating Cities (since this person hurt a lot of MANY people) and it is especially difficult for Danny because she couldn't give a proper grieff.

💙 Dan is no better, he has to deal with a certain salary gap that (like No-Mag) does not allow him to charge beyond a certain amount that does not cover more than the basics, so he is forced to reduce several things his daily life so that Danny lives comfortably.

💙Despite everything, Dan and Danny have a good relationship, they see themselves as a team. They have both been through the same thing so they know they are devastated, they try to support each other as much as possible (Dan working and Danny returning to studying normally).

💙before all, Dan was much happier, obviously. This is less important, but I thought it would be nice. Dan used to give Danny a Pixxie haircut and because of that she earned a nickname with her family.

💙Dan and Danny enjoy watching sitcoms together, sometimes even horror movies (nothing too Gore, Dan can't handle it) and generally having a nice father-daughter afternoon.

💙Dan is usually very supportive of Danny's powers! When it was colder than usual in "Alvaluz" he took her to parks or lakes so they could skate together, this way they had fun and Dan taught her ways to handle herself without magic in his style.

just...the two of them being a healthy father and daughter duo.

💙cómo se deja implícito, Danny y Dan están pasando por un momento difícil, tanto emocional como financiero. se podría decir que alguien que lastimo mucho a su familia va a tener una apelación en los eventos de la historia, por lo que la tensión es ALTA en todas las Ciudades Flotantes (ya que está persona lastimo a mucha MUCHA gente) y es especialmente difícil para Danny porque ella no pudo dar un Lugo adecuado.

💙 Dan no está mejor, que tiene que lidiar con cierta brecha salarial que (como No-Mag) no le permite cobrar más allá de cierta cantidad que no da para más que lo básico, por lo que se ve obligado a rebajar varias cosas de su vida diaria para que Danny vivía cómodamente.

💙Pese a todo, Dan y Danny tienen una buena relación, se ven como un equipo. ambos han pasado por lo mismo por lo que saben que están devastados, tratan de apoyarse en la medida de lo posible(Dan trabajando y Danny volviendo a estudiar normalmente).

💙antes de todo, Dan era bastante más alegre, obvio. esto tiene menos importancia, pero creía que sería lindo. Dan solía darle a Danny un corte de pelo tipo Pixxie y gracias a eso se ganó un apodo con su familia.

💙Dan y Danny disfrutan de ver sitcoms juntos, a veces incluso películas de terror(nada muy Gore, Dan no puede manejarlo) y en general pasar una linda tarde padre-hija.

💙¡Dan suele apoyar mucho los poderes de Danny! cuando habia más frío de lo usual en "Alvaluz" el la llevaba a parques o lagos para poder patinar juntos, de esta forma se divertian y Dan le enseñaba formas de manejarse sin magia a su estilo.

Hello, this is an ask/rp sideblog for my Star Trek oc that follows back from @commander-jbennett.

My muse's full name is Vidc'aor Saqsül Zyphyrr, but is fine with being called Zyph due to his name being difficult for most people to pronounce. He is an ensign and very excited to be working as a medical intern.

His race is known as the Cerivians from the planet Cerivia which has only been in the Federation for 5 years. He is the first of his people to attend and graduate from Starfleet Academy.

Tajira

Avg height: 2.00–270 m | Avg. weight 130–175 kg | Omnivores | Semi-aquatic lifestyle | Lifespan: ~180 years

Tajira are a semiaquatic species, travelling from their original island into the ocean and reaching other beaches. They're nomadic, but often keep themselves in a designated territory, of which the size varies. They're a large-sized biped with a long hydrodynamic body, tail, and a mane sprouting from head to tail. Their skin is composed of scales, usually smooth but sometimes keeled or sharp. They have two nostrils on the tip of their nose, needing to resurface to breathe when underwater. They have long necks, which can retract into the body. Their shells are not part of their body, merely an accessory.

Their hands and feet have four clawed fingers, with adhesive pads in their hands helping with grabbing and dexterity. They have a mix of a plantigrade upwards walk and a quadrupedal gallop on land, with more elegant locomotion on water. They are omnivores, with a diet composed primarily of fish, crustaceans and algae, but other food sources can be included.

Tajira possess natural Kusho Aether. It is the source of their manes, made out of plant-algae and other flora. They sprout from the dome of the head, following their neck, spine, all the way to their tail. As it made of Aether, these plants have different compositions from real species, and are connected to the Tajira themselves.

The main function of their manes is for camouflage in areas with dense flora and Aether photosynthesis. They will collect Aether in the surrounding area to keep their Aether glands filled and help with other body functions, such as extra energy sources, wound healing and maintaining internal structures. The longer the mane, the better it is at both of these functions, but trimming is required as to not become a hindrance in movement. Modern Tajira style their manes in various ways, as the camouflage benefit is no longer useful and photosynthesis has diminishing returns after a certain mane size.

Glass Desert Hessi

The Hessi are the largest sapient species on Sunit, but also the least advanced. Carnivorous and nomadic, Hessi live in familial tribes in Sunit's oceans, mountains, and deserts.

Glass Desert Hessi

Pictured above is a Glass Desert Hessi, the Hessian subspecies adapted to live in one of the hottest and most dangerous places on the planet. This subspecies is considered medium in size (about 12-15 feet long).

This subspecies has mottled, shimmering scales to blend in with the iridescent sand of the Glass Desert, with Crystalline horns to disguise themselves as the fulgurite trees that scatter the sands. They hunt via ambush, waiting below the sands for prey to come within striking distance.

Their Crystal horns and spines allow them to safely absorb strikes from the desert's many lightning storms, storing the energy to be used for signalling other Hessi via bioluminescence or for electrically charging their teeth to take down larger prey.

Ok I'm making an official post for Estrials. (or well official until I make a better one)

Everything below cut so I don't make anyone scroll past the novel length (/hj) post I'm about to make when they're just trying to browse their dash :]

Alright so Estrials! They're a species I made up (though they are definitely inspired by some other things like atla cause of the elemental abilities) and they can be anthro, feral, or even like catboy esque(?) (for the lack of a better term) (an example of what I mean would be my sona)

Heres some examples of existing Estrials (in order: my sona (he/it/pup) (small child edition), evil xisuma (little creature and non little creature forms), jimmy (again little creature and non little creature forms), and bigb (little creature and non little creature forms) gotta love bigb and his little sweater) (also ex is part voidwalker too which is why he looks so different from the others, so like yeah you go combine Estrials and another species that would be epic)

Here we have some of my ocs and a few of the others listed above! Ryder is also part voidwalker and technically doesn't have a little creature form, but I did include a little bust shot doodle of him

If you're still here, now I'm going to tell you how to make your own! (please do I beg I want more little creatures in the world)

Ok so, they are an open species, though there are a few rules (both like actual rules and trait rules so you stay in line with the species)

-First rule: don't be a dick. I will revoke your Estrial rights if you're not a decent person (no like actually I can't take your character but I can make a list of no good icky people so other Estrial fans know not to interact with you)

-2nd rule: have fun! No really I'm not going to be an evil overlord about people making Estrials. Just enjoy yourselves and be kind to others

-3: more of me just saying this than a rule but you can totally have more than one Estrial! Make like 50 of you want I really don't care

Now rules for like traits and stuff

-1: your Estrial has to have some sort of wings (preferably feathered ones but you can do bug or bat wings if you want) (mechanical wings are also cool! Especially if they're meant to be like a prosthetic or something that would be sick) and some sort of horns (literally any horns idc go wild) you can have any number of these traits too

-2: only one elemental ability per Estrial please (or none at all, you can make an element-less Estrial if you want) there's only one Estrial that has more than one elemental ability and he's not even really an Estrial (it's my sona, it's complicated and lore related don't ask unless you want a novel length reply full of lore)

-3: they have to be either based off of some sort of canine or some sort of feline, though you can totally add features from other things (ex: lizards or fish or deer idk) as long as the base creature that has most of the features showing (so like the main body and head I guess?) is a canine/feline you're good (so like the tail, legs, and even ears can be some other creature if you want) (River, shown above, has a fish tail and some fins kinda like vaporeon. So really, go wild)

-4: any patterns and colors are ok, so yeah make that sparkle dog looking thing !! Go wild, be free my friends. Make the shadow the hedgehog Estrial (no actually you totally could)

Ok no more rules! Info time 😈😈

-Estrials can be any size that's bigger than like a small dog (so like chihuahua ish or bigger) and smaller than a horse (yippee big creature)

-The anthro and catboy(?) Estrials can be any human height btw (anthros can be a little smaller than humans too as a treat)

-They can have any length of fur (so yeah you could make a hairless one, I'd actually be real interested to see that someone do it before I do) and be from any region (hence the different fur lengths. Some of them live in real cold places and have to be real fluffy to keep warmth in, and some live in warmer places and have a lot less fur to cool off easier)

-All Estrials can hide their wings (like magic poof they're gone completely and then poof they're back now) and the catboy(?) ones can sometimes hide all their Estrial features (so like their nose, horns, ears, wings, and tails)

-I'm leaving a whole lot up to interpretation so like go wild I guess. Just don't do anything too weird.. I don't want strange things associated with my species..

Ok now the big thing: elemental abilities

So we have 5 elements + no element (though I'm kinda thinking of adding a 6th.... maybe..). Every Estrial falls under one (and only one) of these categories, though their power levels can vary (so like some fire Estrials can only do tiny poofs of flames and others can have like whole fire tornados going on)

Fire, water, air, earth, and plant

They all overlap with others a little too

-Fire Estrials can bend/control/whatever you want to call it magma, lava, fire, and lightning. They can also heat things up, which does mean they can heat other elements enough to somewhat control those (so like heating metal until it's molten and being able to shape it, or heating water enough that it turns into steam. Though steam is a lot harder for fire Estrials to control) though they lose that ability once the element cools off again

-Water Estrials can bend things like water, ice, some gasses (if the gas has a liquid state at a reasonable temperature. So like not things that require to have subzero temps to be liquids like oxygen), and any other liquids (not including molten things if you count those as liquid).

-Air Estrials can control all gasses (unless they need to be superheated to be a gas) and air. They can also definitely move things with air, so like sandstorms and using lots of wind to lift and move big objects. They can even control the weather a bit because of this (though water Estrials also kinda can. They can make it rain at least) by blowing storms around (including hurricanes and tornados, though they can also cause them too)

-Earth Estrials can control anything that's made of some sort of metal or mineral. So like glass (even if it's not molten, they can still change its shape, though they can also control molten glass) any rock, and all kinds of dirt (including compost in case you were wondering. So like if its considered dirt they can control it)

-Plant Estrials can control all plants. And can move things using plants. And can grow plants. Idk what you want from me the name is kinda self explanatory.. they can also grow plants in their fur (or hair if you have a catboy(?) Estrial) (again I don't really know what else to call them..) this does include stuff like coral, mold, and fungus btw so go wild with your biohazard mold guy (omg Ethan Winters ??? Somebody call crumb immediately) (that is a joke do not call crumb cuptoast just because I referenced Ethan Winters..) (though crumb if you somehow see this hiiii you can make an Ethan Winters Estrial, that would be so sick actually)
