ive always associated orange with you, i think cuz of rowans hair, but now im curious, do you have a fav color? IS IT ORANGE?? 🧡

I get this a LOT! The "you are orange" thing, I mean. For years, truly. People would send me orange and/or Halloween themed fabrics because of it. They still do.

I do not, in fact, love orange as a color that much :P However, much like people mispronouncing my name, I've learned to live with it. Orange is an okay color.

For a long time, I said my favorite color was green. If I have to give a simplistic answer, I'll say that at present, I'm leaning more toward red.

The more complicated answer is: I love bright colors, jewel tones, and stuff that stands out. 1980s New Wave with hot pink and neon blue? Yes! Late 1960s "let's have the entire room in red and blue: carpet, furniture, wallpaper"? I'm sold! Midcentury kitchen where everything is green, including the appliances? YAY it's not all stainless steel and plain white tile!

Oh, and there was my tropical color phase, of yellow, teal/tropical blues and greens, and fuschia. I painted and decorated a bathroom in those colors once and loved it.

I don't like pastels, they're too washed out looking for me. Not big on earth tones either (and then Rowan is entirely in browns and faded reds and orange, so, y'know).

There's a very long answer to what should be a simple question. Thank you for asking! And I expect to be associated with orange for years to come :)

2023 Toyota GR 86 10th Anniversary Special Edition

Can you believe that the iconic 2023 Toyota GR 86 has been around for ten years? Granted, it was originally the Scion FR-S, but still - besides the name, the essence of the car has remained the same. It's performance-driven, stylish, and yet still affordable enough to make it a day-to-day driver.

Toyota is celebrating 10 years of success with the 2023 Toyota GR 86 by releasing a 10th Anniversary Special Edition model and Toyota of N Charlotte has all the details below.

-This new special edition 2023 Toyota GR 86 will feature a new paint colors called Solar Shift. It's a bright orange hue that's contrasted by bold black accents, including a c-pillar graphic, black 18" wheels with black wheel caps and lug nuts, and a matte black rear duckbill spoiler.

-It'll offer the same performance qualities that we've all grown to love on the current models of the N Charlotte Toyota GR 86. You'll still have the same 2.4L engine designed to enhance both horsepower and torque, as well as the Normal/Sport/Snow modes to optimize your car's performance.

-It'll also offer a six-speed manual transmission and D-4S dual injection; you'll be able to get from 0-60 mph in just 6.1 seconds.

-Special badging and a commemorative plaque will let everyone know that your N Charlotte Toyota is one-of-a-kind, and it is. Only 860 of these special edition models will be produced, so don't hesitate if you want to put one in your driveway.
