About Yun Jin: Besides being a great opera performer, Sir Yun's taste in tea is impeccable! Although she keeps asking me to join her at Heyu Tea House... their tea just doesn't have the same flavor as the tieguanyin from Xinyue Kiosk. Speaking of her, one of our clients has just developed a new strain—I promised to bring some for her when I come back to Liyue Harbor!
About Xiao: You mean Senior Xiao! Hehe, so you know him too! Next time, can you bring him along with you to one of my performances in the harbor? I've been trying to get him to come for a long time, but he always refuses... oh, good idea! Next time I'll hold it at Wangshu Inn, just for him!
About Xiangling: That girl always by Guoba's side, right? Man Chai seems to like her a lot, especially the cornbread buns she makes! To be honest, some of the things she cooks are a little too spicy for me, but otherwise she’s an excellent chef with unmistakable talent. No wonder her companion is a minor deity… wait, what? A major deity?
About Keqing: Thanks to her invitation and sponsorship, our Mighty Mythical Beast performances have been getting more and more attention in the harbor! She's very straightforward and speaks her mind about everything, and always has novel ideas! Although we haven’t talked much, I really admire her mindset and determination. It’s not easy to forge your own path forward, especially for someone of her standing.
About Chongyun: I've run into him once or twice on the road to Liyue Harbor. He didn’t seem to like talking that much when we met, but I’ve heard he’s actually quite outgoing! He wields a greatsword too—maybe he can train with me as the suanni’s tail? Of course, I wouldn’t force him to do anything he doesn’t want; I'm sure he's already busy! It would just be nice to have a wushou partner for once.
About Xinyan: I managed to catch one of Xinyan's performances when I had some free time after work. There weren’t many people in the audience, but her music was so energetic it completely made up for the quieter atmosphere. Originally, I was thinking about asking her to join our lion dance troupe as a drummer, but I’m glad to hear she's made a name for herself since then! I should properly introduce myself sometime!
About Zhongli: He once asked me whether I've heard about the legend of the solitary suanni after one of Iron Tongue Tian's stories. When I said yes, he launched into a really detailed discussion of Chenyu Vale's local belief system, and even told me some stories I haven't heard about a carp adeptus. It's amazing that he has so much knowledge on all sorts of folklore, as a funeral consultant no less!
About Xianyun: ... Who?

About Yelan: Ah, that lady—sometimes I see her lingering around Yanshang Teahouse. They place regular orders of tea leaves from Yilong Wharf. She's very polite and even petted Man Chai once or twice, although I feel like there's more to her than meets the eye... well, business is business, and they've never caused any trouble for Sword and Strongbox, so whatever she does isn't much of a concern to me.

So Allegedly Infinite Wealth is 100 hours... not that you can't already spend that long on the games if you really want to, but I'd say it's the first time that could be said to be the base experience rather than a time only hardcore completionists are likely to get.
Yokoyama was talking at length about wanting to make the game worth the price tag since the team is incredibly conscious about the value of the players' time and money. They essentially feel they owe players ten times what they paid, so they're aiming for "an enjoyable 100 hours, but also an unforgettable 100 hours."
If they pull it off, I personally think it'd be 100% worth it and not just a "well other studios are doing it so we can get away with it too" price hike... I'm at least happy to know that's not the intent, and I'm intrigued to see how everything pans out and what the ratio is between story and side content
oh yayaya i saw that article this morning!!! 100 hours is actually so unfathomable to me in terms of an rgg game- i mean y7 was At Minimum around 45~50 hours but when i think of other RPGS that easily dip into 70's and 100's of hours, i'm not too surprised to see LAD start to climb towards those numbers now. it'd be such a jump in rgg's terms tho, so i'm TRULY curious to see where the nearly doubled gameplay hours comes from..
i really appreciate yoko's respect not just to RGGS but also to its customers: they want to make a great product, but they also don't want to sacrifice what they want to do to do that in the process

Work process or something for. Idk. A Toast To The Pigs. How long until I get overwhelmed, I wonder? I'm very bad at organizing shit on an average day.
So far Ch 3 is at 8.3k and Ch 4 is at 8.2k respectively. Should probably pick up the pace from there.
One thing I hate about Scrivener is that when you copy/paste in a web browser, it doesn't keep the formatting. So you lose your italics, your bold, your underline... so you have to do it manually. But it does help to keep things in order. So there's that.

Good morning rake gang i had a real weird dream and it involved rake!

Now I know what it feels like to be a manga reader and seeing the anime adaptations of the manga... look at em... they're moving... and they have voices... and there's music... whooaaa...
#aria rants#talking bout mashle and sokushi cheat ga saikyou sugite. im not completing the title of the latter its one of the long ones#my babies... lookit em... even if it isnt a 1-1 to the manga its like aww... theyre moving and speaking with voices#and THERES COLOUR! whooaaa...#am so lazy watching anime but for these two i will watch it anyway. ill tune in weekly for the episodes for em#love mashle for the comedy and honestly sokushi cheat is like pretty average. its your typical-ish isekai story#but the manga grew on me. the characters all have their own unique charms and i love the dannoura family stories#and takatou is pretty interesting too. just overall a fun read for me so seeing its anime is so nice. also i wanna see the sage's downfall#honestly thats the main thing im looking forward to in the story. i wanna see her be faced with the reality that she isnt the strongest now#and its her own fault too cuz she brought these kids there. and by these kids i mean tomochika and takatou. mainly takatou#that sage is so prideful that it became her own undoing. deserved rlly. ya can tell i dont like her. she disregards life tsk
