Also so so so so tired. I almost fell asleep in the middle of the floor like 3 times today lol#Trying to finish some costume photos and also another poll adventure thing. plus I do really want to do a sculpture sometime#I haven't finished one in a while. Hopefully my tiredness is nothing bad.#Maybe I'm anemic again so that's making me tired. Or maybe it's just a Listless phase. not that I'm ever really THAT productive considering#all of the health problems and etc. always holding me back. but still. I'm not usually 'sleep or just stare at a wall literally all day' ty#e unproductive.. at least not for multiple days in a row so. hmm... Sometimes especially in the summer though I will have periods of time#that are listless like that. I am under low level phyiscal stress for months at a time due to summer heat so I guess it makes sense#that would eventually take a toll. I just have SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO DO!!!!! AAUUGhhh#I also came up with a new idea for a game that is so so cool and I wish I could make it but I have to finish the other one first lol#which I will NEVER do. if I spend all day just sleepy unfocused barely able to do anything#I also really need to sell some clothes and sculptures because I'll probably have to buy a new computer soon so I need money. (plus still#recovering the costs of having to euthanize my other cat.. wehh) There's nothing clearly wrong with it right now but it's getting gradually#slower and there's more weird glitches happening randomly and idk.. just weird things that make me think 'hmm... bad.. possibly.'#ANYWAY... I just have so much to do that I both REALLY want or need to do - so it's perpetually frustrating that I just can't for whatever#reason like. Time is always mving forward. every day I waste is a wasted day. The year is already almost half over. I havent finished#any of the projects I wanted to .. and there's only more and more things to do each day. It's overwhelming and stinky#and thats not even considering having to do all of my tasks also with the background noise of economic inequality. everything increasingly#going into an even scarier political direction. active climate change crisis. pandemic that still exists and is insane to act otherwise. et#etc. HOW am I supposed to solo make two whole games . write 3 book series. finish sculptures. do costumes. make outfits. game videos. make#stable network of social connections. do my little side crafts. take care of myself and cats. pay rent. manage health issues. keep a routin#.try to make some sort of money. go to doctors appointments. handle regular maintenance like cleaning and cooking and self care#and buying new plates when old ones break or etc. make sure to do other things like backup my computer data regularly. do shopping lists.#take care of plants. pursue like 6 different academic interests. do the other side side projects I have for fun (like music or carving avoc#ado pits). eat in a healthy way thats okay for my Special Health Issue diet. exercise so i don't die early. etc. etc. etc. AND all while it#82F in my apartment all the time and I have tiny income and also need to move to another country/climate somehow??? lol......#ANYWAY.. ..very frustrated today over my chronic Tired Sleepy.. time for Cat Photos - which cure all of life's ailments lol

Me pulling my [short] hair out trying to figure out why my Switch's MicroSDXC card randomly got unrecognized by it last week (despite it being mostly unused leading up to it), even though that same card gets read on my laptop fine and it can read another MicroSD card or two I have lying around (eliminating potential reader issues), ultimately resigning myself to buying a new SD card I guess:
was going to open the case up in case the reader might've snapped out of place, but since it can read other cards, that's probably not an issue--just annoying I have to buy a new one if it's perfectly fine otherwise... 😩

The boy's eyelids grow heavier and heavier, so heavy that they seem to be dragging the rest of his head down with them, given the way it slowly bobs up and down in an increasingly futile effort to stay upright.
There's the thought that's pushing through the sleepy fog of his mind that he can't fall asleep out here in the open, that he needs to go home to an actual bed, but it's soon apparent that he can't even muster up the energy to blink anymore, let alone get himself home.
And so, that thought quietly disappears into the haze, along with the rest of his consciousness as his body decides he no longer has a choice in the matter, slumping across the public bench.

Much like the Babes, I think it is important to acknowledge when mistakes have been made and to take action to correct them as much as possible. Unfortunately, I repeatedly captioned the “Unsolved Babesteries” gifsets as “Untold Babesteries”—a bizarre typo that I deeply regret and has since been fixed. Somehow, this was only made clear to me when I was still half asleep at 5:45 am and checking Tumblr.
I promise I will strive to do better in future posts since the Babes, and you, deserve accuracy and truth.

#cats#love the second picture... skrungly sleepy well rested boye face...#since he's an elderly boy now sometimes when he wakes up from a nap he looks a bit scruffy and squinty eyed#Hard to beleive he's like 15 though.. he still looks like a kitten to me.. due to his giant round creature eyes and childlike demeanor#I think it's interesting that like... baby cats are babies. kittens are kittens. and you can tell a cat is like 'young adult' phase#looking from like a few months to maybe 1yr or 2yrs.. but after that they just always look the same to me#a 5 yr old cat is a 10 yr old cat is a 15 year old cat. unless the cat in question is particulalry aged or youthful#I still have so so little energy... it's been icy here this week. like not even FUN but just scary icy even thoguh i lOOOVE the cold#and its my favorite weather. I think it'd be okay actually if I had a woodburning stove/fireplace/hearth thing. literally thats my only#concern with the power going out. I genuinely don't mind stuff like having to go to the bathroom in buckets or cook over a fire or do other#less conveninet things. Its just that if eveyrhtng is electric then you have no way to cook and all of that. well.. and I literally need#background noise to go to sleep lest my ocd sprials become so loud I am slowly driven into maddness.. but a few battery packs or something#and a phone with one downloaded video I could play on repeat is fine for that. I dont need internet. ANYWAY.. so so sad that my fav#orite season ever (winter) is here. and the first cold of the winter is like... just an ice storm that you cant even walk in. I#love like 4 feet of snow where you can play in it and stuff. But just a thin flat sheet of a few inches of ice over every imaginable surfac#is not really playable. the wind speeds are so high and so many trees fall it's actually not that safe to go hang out outside anyway unless#you were in a totally clear open field. which is SAD also because i love ice and high winds. i love to stand out there and get whipped in t#he face with ice crystals and feel like I'm in some dramatic movie or something. but alas.. the threat of being attacked by a falling tree.#I did go out some but again it's like. literallyyou cant walk on it. so I just squatted and dragged myself along the ground lol#One of my stories has a whole section where the main characters are trapped in a deadly cold environment for a week and have to use magic#to survive and etc. etc. so I'm always like.. ouuu.. I should go in the ice.. it's Writing Research actually.. *foolishly gets frostbite*#THOUGH yesterday I went on a harrowing evil journey down a bunch of icy hilly roads to go check on some person's cat because the cat#had been left in the house for like 5 days at that point with nobody to check on them and nobody else seemed to want to do anything#about it (like call all of the neighbors or try to get someone out there) so I just went myself with a roommate who agreed to drive me.#It seemed acting totally normal and I gave it more food and water but.. I am still worried about it.. Apparently the person will be able#to get back to their house tomorrow but.. I dont trust them. But I couldnt take the cat with me because it's like.. a stranger's cat#basically and also no carrier + very skittish.. so I feared if I just tried to carry them bare handed they'd definitely leap from my grasp#and then it'd be like.. sliding on a sheet of ice chasing a cat and so on.. I still think they need to be watched for health issues tho >:|#ANYWAY.... many cat adventures lately... and strange weather... I wish for a normal week without always so many Things Happening.. augh

they’re just so serene and calm....

1. WEDNESDAY (2022) IS OUT BABYYYY AND I’M LOVING IT
2. My student nearly fell asleep during class today and it was not great but she was very cute
3. I made two scrunchies yesterday (which was my first time making scrunchies period) and my little sister liked them enough to steal them (??? uncertain if this is bc they’re good or just bc she likes stealing my things)
4. You don’t have to wear socks at home! You can just be barefoot! Yeahhhh
5. I got this really lovely series of comments on ishte and I’m just. Yeah that fic is my baby. Also we’re somehow almost at 70k with that fic. How.
#5 happy things#around halfway through wednesday 2022 lmao immediately wrote 2k for it even while nowhere near done#can. can you tell that i'm a lil sleepy deprived. hehe#hehehe#anyways tmrw i'm going in-person for work which means i can maybe sleep in a lil? idk#but also i have to teach an evening class tmrw (thankfully all my late-night class programs have ended but. still.) so there's that#i got this wicked-cool spider-man print fabric from the dollar store. it's very bad quality but it's a yard for just $4#got a pack of normal elastic bands and just hand-sewed the cloth around and it made a pretty good scrunchie? maybe? idk#but i've discovered that getting to be creative and make things that you can visually appreciate (not just writing) is pretty awesome hsjweg#re-discovered probably. i've learned this lesson 50 times and i will forget and re-learn 500 more! bad memory gang come together#also got some coloured pencils and have just been doing nonsense in my sketchbook#now that my evening programs are ending and my work is winding down (i still have another month left of work but still lol)#i get to do a lot more creative and fun things so that's been super nice

Trying to get literally anything done right now!!! Literally any one of the 4,000 things on my to-do list would be fantastic!!! My big headphones are on and the 80s synth beats are blasting but I fear even that is not enough to keep me focused 😞
#I slept like 3 hrs total last night! I'm a bit delirious. Toothache combined with general anxiety/bad brain is no fun as it would turn out!!#and I know what you're thinking - maybe you should go to bed!!! That makes sense but unfortunately I will not be doing that#I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing I have things to do anyway. Just gotta like... figure out what all those things are#It's just a -feeling- !!! Those of you who get it will understand haha. I feel like I have so much to do. Brain zoomin.
