I just bombed my narrative essay, tips on how to write one?
I'm not sure if you meant to send this to me lol but for narrative essays make sure it's clear and easy read for whomever needs to review the essay.
Usually it's best to provide vivid details and descriptive scenes and let the reader draw their own conclusions since narrative essays are usually guiding readers through the story; you don't make arguments, criticize, or attempt to persuade them. You are there to inform whatever topics the essay is about and why the story matters/applies to said topic.

sorry for being crazy. but somehow two of us (2000) is a literal, actual movie that exists. insane to me. it sounds made up if u even say any part of the plot out loud. like "oh yeah basically it ends with john talking paul into performing on snl, but then paul gets his guitar from the car and when he comes back john's on the phone with yoko, telling her he loves her and that she's the only thing that keeps him from disappearing, so paul leaves again, calls his wife and tells her he loves her. also after he hangs up he stops smiling immediately and just sort of stares into space. also did i mention that this is the only time either of them ever call their wives the entire movie? yeah right at the end when they separate again." like. what.

ok but like the concept of the tdi casts anywhere but on tv is wild. Like high school aus? Noah and Courtney going for class president and Courtney's super competetive but Noah doesn't really care. Noah, a.k.a. the nerd, is friends with a crazy girl, a girl with anger issues, and a dude who's kinda gay and farts a lot. There's some guy wannabe punk who's in and out of prison flirting with two girls who get along just fine without him. Heather is getting Harold and Cody to do her homework after losing her friends Lindsay and Courtney but she actually becomes friends with the nerds. Harold and Noah have autism on autism violence. Tyler is a failing jock and holding onto the team with Alejandro on it by a thread but he gets the most cheers from Lindsay. This is longer than I anticipated. Anyways, you get the idea. Bye.

no offence to people who genuinely enjoyed james somerton and feel cheated but you could kind of tell he didnt give a shit about anything he ever said. there was no passion or personable anecdotes in anything he ever made, and the fact he was constantly posting videos was crazy. like if you watch your more popular video essayists theyre always coming from a point of 1) education in a field 2) passion in a subject and 3) being open about themselves
like , this man hopped on the video essay train because of the popularity of his peers and just tokened himself into "the gay video essayist" as if so many other people werent already doing that? and the lack of care for intersectionality was obvious. i stopped ever watching him after he took it personally that some marvel show was about black exploitation in america and not about two men kissing each other, cuz it became abundantly clear that was the only experience he gave a shit about (his own)
