This is the news that shocked and relief us. Just to think after 👊MultiVersus had a good opening beta run in 2022; only to have significant drops from players later on.

I’m worried that’s the case if it means for the servers will go down with the ship. 😔

Though looks like for now it’ll be scheduled for shutting down on June. 25th, but saving for its full version re-release for early next year. Can’t believe, huh? I know it was disappointing for awhile til we can boost up again for next year. At least hoping the devs can figure things out to bring something big soon. As of now, we're only have more months away before we're landing in June.

Palia Dev Update: Jan 2024 Recap

Read the update from the devs here.

In 2024, they are expecting one major update per month. With the next patch coming in late January or early February.

The Maji Market is returning for the Luna New Year event!

During the Luna New Year event, there will be a new minigame inspired by mahjong.

Subira romance is in the works.

New outdoor furniture is coming.

Winterlights will conclude when the next patch comes out.

In the future they hope to look at shared resource nodes, economy balancing, and player progression. And of course fixing bugs!

Her next promotion was riding on how well this went and having a friendly face around was doing wonders to calm her nerves. The last thing she needed to do was forget everything about this brand when she had to give a speech about how inspiring the CEO was. “I’m going to need about three drinks after this.” she mumbled to herself, not realizing they were standing so close by.

As an update, I know there's been a sort of ongoing confusion about whether this open beta is the actual release or just another beta test, and I've previously reported that one of the official posts referred to this as another beta test, specifically that it mentioned player info would not be retained after this beta closes (as has been the case with previous betas).

However, I went back and checked it again, and whether that was a mistranslation courtesy of Google translate, or they actually edited the post, it doesn't seem to say that anymore!

This, combined with the fact that an official SEGA document referred to this as the actual launch, and the fact that the Marian banner will be running until May 30th in the Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau version, meaning the open beta will also be running at least that long, is leading me to believe this actually is essentially the game's launch after all, considering how gacha games are apparently typically run in China.

With that in mind, I'll continue to tag posts as "fourth beta" for now, but if there's a Version 1.3 update announced (presumably around when the Marian banner ends, which will be sooner in the mainland version than the Taiwan one), I'll change up how I'm tagging, maybe tagging by version rather than "fourth beta" for future updates.

okay now that i'm seeing the new dash...hot take, but while i'm not a fan of idea of tumblr trying to be like twitter ( if anything tumblr is more popular BC it's social media specifically for people who hate social media :// we'll have problems if they ever enforce a character limit on posts ), i don't actually hate that the menu bar with the words is always on the side- it cuts down the amount of time i usually would take with navigating between say my dash and activity pages, etc.

Hey Art Fiends,

I'm recently finished my cardigan and I am excited to dive into YouTube video content. Completing a project, no matter the medium, helps me realign myself mentally and push forward on other projects. The full version of the Pepo Planner is slated to be released at the end of December with stickers and coloring pages. Though I have not been able to release more Nova Star pages, I am still writing and working on the story. I still do not have a return date for the comic, but subscribers will get all the art crumbs until the series is able to re-debut. As always, my backlog has been checked for art to complete next. After the planner, I'll be working on finishing works that were shelved in the progress stage. I'll also be studying animation as well as working on storyboarding my comics.

In streaming news, we'll be getting cozy in Palia and Animal Crossing. Animal Crossing will just be weekly maintenance and a K.K. concert. In Palia, we'll be working on gathering materials to finish each furniture set as well as the duplicate furniture items for actually furnishing the homestead. The 12 hour stream will be November 17th at 6 pm EST. This will be the last of the monthly 12 hour streams. As I've been doing these for the better part of 2 years now, I believe it is time to end this monthly event. As I get into more time intensive work (comics, animation, YouTube, etc) I need to refocus my time so I'm not worried about spoiling content on stream. I may stream longer than my usual 3 hour schedule, but a full 12 hours after November will be entirely accidental.

p.s. I stream every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8 pm CST.

99% of people will be unaffected, and this is NOT a crackdown on having nsfw content on gdrive

"What I think has happened is that drive has made several updates to its spam/abuse filtering and one of the focuses is trying to catch spammers who share explicit things in docs with random emails. Which is good in theory, but has the potential to hit false positives."

his recommendation is to keep NSFW words out of your doc titles and instead of sharing the "open link", share directly with you beta's email addresses.

It is also more likely to flag up explicit images, though that is less likely to be a fic problem.

As you can see, the myth just started to grow, characters and ships and tropes being added one after the other, almost bizzarely without contradiction, until there was enough of shape to the whole thing for people to start posting fanfic about it on AO3. I also just found out about the Goncharov Game Jam.

It appears this opened a day after after the meme took off.

Goncharov was first entered into Wikipedia between Day 4 and 5 (attempts to vandalise it with fake info don't count, incidentally – please knock that shit off) under List of Internet Phenomena. This was then expanded into its own Wikipedia page at the end of Day 5 because, according to the talk history: "the topic now meets the notability threshold for its own artice due to significant coverage in The New York Times and other sources cited." We're on Wikipedia, people!

And then we made The Guardian half a day later. So while the meme is definitely dying down to embers by now, it still stays winning.
