nathalia: watcher, i want you to find me the most picky, fussy, demanding, troublesome, importunate, irritable, whiny, peevish, petulant, critical, caustic, cynical, mordant, bitter... well, you got the point! find me the dreadfulest pixels, the pixels no one would dare to send to a bachelorette challenge. i wanna meet them. soon.

watcher: your wish is my command. wanna make an intro about you?

nathalia: i'm a vampire. i bite. period.

watcher: ... and that's all...?

nathalia: for now, yes.

watcher: (to the audience) don't worry, i'll write a presentation of nat tomorrow, guys. Sorry, she's always like that...

a bachelorette challenge in which the dreadfulest pixel wins. will you dare?

submission rules:

nathalia will be accepting 13 sims in total (the first 13th entries will be automatically accepted);

non-occults, occults are all welcome;

all sims/genders/sexualities are welcome;

give them the skills you wish;

give them likes and dislikes, but choose the less agreeable of course 😉 oooohhh! and more dislikes than likes, be picky!

only one outfit per category;

cc allowed to the amount of your desire;

i will use my eyes defaults (opal eyes) for all sims in-game;

give your sim a brief, medium or testamentary backstory (i will read everything!);

as for the cas traits, follow the guides below, but feel free to give them any rewards/aspirations traits.

i won’t be doing official ceremonies, dialogues and no poses shall be used. the game will be as organic as possible and 100% spontaneous;

nathalia harper’s relatives - the vamfires - will interact with contestants too.

((Session 44 is wrapped!))

Ena’s player got hit by a car this week and while she’s perfectly fine and only got out with a sprained ankle they’re confined to the downstairs couch for the next few days so we have to try extra hard to keep this session as PG as possible.

This may be an insurmountable challenge. It was, in fact, an insurmountable challenge.

Thiori’s first act of the new session was to sit down at the breakfast buffet table and draw himself a map of the palace from memory (and a crushed history check) so that he’d never have to experience the pain of a full bladder and no bathroom in sight again.

Bagelby:

Bagelby: “So who wants to come with me to Pirate Island?”

We still have two days left in this festival and already the party wants to speed run to the next plot point.

Bagelby filled in the rest of the party on what he’d learned while doing slugs with Lord Featherton, and told them all about Queen Almaea’s hidden hobby of model-making.

Ena’s Player: “Bagel practices some real good manifestation magic.”

Me: “He thinks it, therefore it is.”

The party, who has thousands of gold between them and the financial patronage of a dragon: “Let’s steal a ship!”

Asahi wants to stick around the palace to continue networking, and Ena wants to go shopping in the city.

Sir Carl Jaeger wants to stick around the palace, now that he knows that his squire is nearby.

Wayne and Zayne elected to go check out the parade in the city, as they’d never seen one that wasn’t related to the military before.

“They’re gonna come back covered in beads but not in the Mardi Gras way.”

Bagelby went to check out a picnic in the palace’s inner courtyard, where he found Queen Almaea playing hide and seek with a group of children. He joins in.

Bagelby won, and found Queen Almaea hiding behind the statue of a hooded woman with outstretched arms.

After respecting the Queen’s privacy and implied request to be left alone with the statue for a few minutes, Bagelby missed the plot hook of seeing Almaea talk to her mom.

While out shopping, Ena found a stand run by Tem the Great, and promptly bought twenty small crystal dicks from him, all carved to represent varying races.

“I think there would be a very big visual difference between a dragon dick and an elf dick.”

She also bought two gems; an opal shaped like a cloud, and a ruby shaped like a flame.

“…and you get the box for free, since you decided to tell a Big Lie to a little town and support the lizard wizard.”

Ena hid five of her largest dick crystals around Crown Prince Kemat’s room, and found a letter from Advisor Rond-El imploring him to choose one of the below bachelorettes, if only for political purposes. Every single name was crossed out.

Ena then sneaked into Vashael’s room and - with a stealth roll of 27 - left a crystal dick with a note saying “eat me” on the table while Vashael, Michael, Naoka, Bashur, and Haaruma were all in the room.

None of them saw her enter or leave.

“You can’t escape these plot hooks.”

While out shopping, Thiori found and bought a dwarven broach, an iron holy symbol of a mysterious god, a piece of a very detailed tapestry, and a silver pendant of a raven from an ancient Tabaxi who’s in need of a hearing aid.

He then spent four hours listening to an old elven grandma teach him how to make wrapped wire jewelry, just because.

I pulled the ‘Elrond but backwards’ joke too many times and now we have (supposedly) three separate NPCs named Rond-El/Rondellion.

Sir Carl Jaeger wandered around the palace for a while, trying to discreetly lure out his hiding squire, just so that he could see him and know that he was alright, but I don’t have any drama planned until the next night, so he had no luck.

He did see Bagelby playing tag with a bunch of children, though, and the Queen herself running around barefoot in her own gardens.

Eventually, Sir Carl found and met Ambassador Rototol (Aaracokra, noticeably faking a Kendaran accent) and Advisor Rond-El (elven, much disliked around the court, Tavarian accent).

Everyone hates Rond-El (as they should) because he was a jerk to Sir Carl (not necessarily the right reasons, but…I’ll take it).

Everyone needs to get some sleep, so we wrapped up there, and we’ll pick things up on the evening of festival day 2 next session.

Bachelorette Challenge Entree: Opal Stone.

Here is my sim Opal Stone for @gardengrotto ‘s Bachelorette challenge! If you want to know more, continue reading.

Specifics -

Age: 19

Pronous: They/them

Traits: Goofball, Animal Enthusiast, Childish

Hobbies: Handiness, Fitness, and Gardening

Music: Latin Pop

Decor Styles: Farmhouse, Boho

Personality: Opal is known for always having a smile on their face, while also aiming to give that smile to others. An avid pun enthusiast, they often cheer up their friends and family with animal puns. Yeah, they mostly result in smirks and eye rolls, but that’s better than a frown. Opal is also a hopeless romantic at times, often day dreaming about finding the one... But they would rather find as many interesting items in nature before that. Their love language is gift giving, often gifts that they have made by handing either by woodworking or any other means of creating. Visual representations of their love goes further than words. Due to their silly nature, they are often forgetful and keep the key to their home on an earring to never get lost.

Story -

Opal was born and raised in Windenburg with their parents, a traveling photographer and a gardener up until they were a child. Their mother spent plenty of trips all over the world, documenting her finds and selling them to galleries while also showing her young Opal the special photos. Selvadorado, Granite Falls, Henford-on-Bagley, and even Batuu were one of the many locations that they were shown, but Henford-on-Bagley seemed to be calling for them.

As their mother continued her adventures, she spent more and more time away from her young Opal who began to follow in their father’s footsteps with gardening. Berries, flowers, herbs-- you name it and they know it. It wasn’t until Opal was about to start high school that their family was given a call that Opal’s mother passed away while working. A poison she caught while working in a swamp seemed to cause both Opal and their father to feel far too much sorrow to continue on.

Opal’s father felt it wrong to keep living in Widenburg without his love. Soon enough, he himself became a memory to them. The sorrow overtook him, while Opal kept a photo that their mother took of Henford-on-Bagley. Greenery as far as the eye can see, plenty of animals to love, and a simple life that they’ve always dreamed about. Is it possible there’s another spot in their heart for something more than just a simple life?

Nan (NSB) - I originally got Nan from a sim request I had sent to @hula-zombie so very long ago and she didn’t always look like she did. I decided I wanted to use her for a new NSB since I lost my old save so I changed up her colors and here we are. I love her so much and still so happy Caitlin made her for me.

Snowdrop (BPR) - Oh my precious Snowdrop. Not many have even seen her unless I have sent you spoiler photos or posted some in the berry server I’m in. But Snowdrop is my founder for my story-based BPR and I haven’t posted any cause I haven’t set everything up for it but wrote sooo much for it and if you want to read any of what I’ve wrote so far for it, you may dm me.

Cucumber (Seven Songs) - Oh Cucumber, my sweet bean. Back to what I said regarding Snow’s story, the thing is my BPR and Seven Songs are connected. Cucumber is the cousin of my future pink spouse in my BPR so again why you probably haven’t seen Cucumber unless I had sent pics to you talking about her. I seriously love her though and it will all come to light at some point, but if you want to read the story so far or just want some spoilery pics, dm me (:

Azure (BOL) - So if you’ve been following for a bit, you would know that I tried to do a Bachelorette Challenge called Berry of Love like Caitlin(hula-zombie) did. People sent me all there sims and you know what ended up happening? Yeah I realized I could not do a bachelorette challenge even though I really wanted to and I am so sorry to the ones that sent me sims. I just didn’t know how to set it up or try to make it even semi-decent. But I did recently give makeovers to the sims sent to me and our bachorette herself, Azure. I still count her as a founder even if that challenge just bombed. And if you want to see the makeovers, you can dm me.

Emeila (DPR) - Emeila is super new, I decided I wanted to do a DPR even though I’ve started so many other challenges. She hasn’t left cas yet so someday she will.

Glitter (Cas BPR) - Everybody in the berry server was doing it and it looks so fun especially do see all the color combos just using cas so I found my old sim, Heather and berrified her and Glitter Frost was born and I love her and all the sims after her looked sooo good.

Rose (Garden Legacy) - Rose is my first red sim and I love her, she’s super cute and I love playing with her and love how she takes her pets with her everywhere. And her and Almond are gonna have super cute babies I already know.

Capri (100 Berry Babies) - Oh Capri, we are almost to 10 babies and I still love this girl and the babies have been sooo cute. Capri is also now a B-list celeb and mastered the painting skill. I think I’m gonna be sad when I have to pick the next one to have 10 babies.

Danica (Forgotten Realms Legacy) - Danica originally a sim in my household I had when Get Together came out. I hadn’t done anything with her in years since I lost that save and her traits already fit for the first gen of the Forgotten Realms Legacy by @anxiousmoodlet so I berrified her and made her a matcha spouse and Danica ended up looking really nice as a purple berry so success.

Paris (Berry Bouquet Legacy) - Paris was made specifically for a challenge I definitely wanted to try and have played a bit of it so far and I had some friends in the berry server even provide me with some sims for it including the future spouse. So thank you to those people and thank you to @sinfulwunderss for making that legacy challenge.

Opal (BPR Gameplay) - So while in the berry server, we started talking about doing bpr gameplays that don’t have a story so we can just have fun but still do a bpr but without a story. So Opal was born and she was my second sim to make with no pupils but with stars in her eyes hense her name Opal Moonstone. I also made her mother, Pearl Moonstone who is harsh and mean but they get along alright. I’ve played quite a bit of this save so far and it’s so fun and I used Tulip from my cas bpr but with full pink skin instead of white and white and pink two-toned eyes and the lovely @dcwnandout provided my purple spouse, Thistle. And more people from the berry server are providing more sims for it. They are really great there, if you like berry sims or banilla, you should definitely join. Just shoot @sweetlysimss or @berryconfetti a message.

Aloe (Seven Songs Gameplay) - Along with my gameplay BPR, I also decided to do a Seven Songs gameplay. And Aloe is definitely a treasure and I love her pet fox, Cotton Candy and her cat, Clover. I have played a bit of this save so far and I quite like and thanks to @fridays-sims I already have the future teal spouse and they are getting along quite nicely. And once again I have people providing sims for the future gens and I still have room on there for bpr and seven songs so you can do that here if you want to provide a sim.

- She likes to think her parents named her Opal because of her hair color, but in reality its prolly just because her mom likes opals.

- Her family always says shes related to Vladislaus Straud but she doesnt think so. Family gossip and all that business. Y’know how that goes.

- Her favorite color is every color! except black.

- She thought she dated Emma Watson once. She didn’t. it was just a dream. oops.

- She really just wants to find someone who loves for her for everything she is, including her fangs and pointy ears!

Good question. That darn baby came out perfect, and almost threw Violet out as heir… if Opal Bean was heir, life would have been very different.

Violet wouldn’t have really stuck around, and that would have impacted Peony and Asher more- like, they may not have stayed together. Opal would have been more sassy and braty than we’ve seen her, as she would have ran the show. Instead of poetry, she’d probably would have busted through the writing world by writing an expose on cafeteria food at her high school, and then go on to pursue journalism.

She’d probably still be on Berry of Love (her bachelorette challenge is still happening), but not find love.

After that, she’d travel the world and meet the berry of her dreams, someone that matched her sass and love of cats, and then she’d have all the babies.

Hello! Did I just make a cute new founder on a whim and decide I need to host a BC for her?. Yes, yes I did. I do currently have an unfinished BC for my sim Cordial, which I plan to finish playing and posting at some point. Just not immediately.

The Dragonlace save will be a Berry Pastel Rainbowcy, if you could not tell by the traits. lol So this will be a BC with lots of pink and purple. You don’t have to go with the Law Enforcement Career if you don’t want to though.

The Requirements

Must be a YA pink and/or purple berry.

Opal is a lesbian, but female presenting non-binary people are welcome.

Occults are welcome.

Any LTW not focused on in the BPR challenge is fine.

I have all EPs and Outdoor Living, Master Suite, Diesel, and 70s, 80s, & 90s.

CC Preferences

No custom sliders or clothes, please.

I’m fine with maxis match makeup, skin details, and patterns.

I prefer Chazy’s retextures for hair, but would also be fine if you use Tallie’s.

Evelyn Marsh is a doctor that has recently finished her residency at a local hospital. She decided to take a short break before looking for a new job to focus on herself and possibly find love. When she came across an ad for Valerie Mayfield’s Bachelorette Challenge, Evelyn thought it was the chance at love she was looking for! Even if she and Valerie are not meant to be, it would be a nice change of pace before going back to work.

Evelyn spends her spare time cooking up a storm in her kitchen. Friends and family love coming over when she has been cooking, since it is always really tasty. It would probably come as a surprise to you then that her favorite food is Mac ‘n’ Cheese. You can do a lot with it whether it is just some boxed stuff or a fancy one made from scratch.

I’m an only child, but I’ve always said it would be all out war if I had a sister. I feel for Opal- it would be no fun to think you’re the oldest and the only girl then to be like SURPRISE NEW SISTER.
