De meeste inwoners in de gemeente Barneveld die gebruikmaken van de Wet maatschappelijke ondersteuning (Wmo) zijn hierover positief. Dat blijkt uit een onderzoek bij gebruikers van de voorzieningen vanuit de Wmo. Dit onderzoek meet hoe inwoners de hulp en ondersteuning ervaren die ze krijgen. Op de meeste gemeten onderdelen scoort Barneveld hoger dan de afgelopen jaren. Ook scoort Barneveld hoger dan andere onderzochte gemeenten. De meeste deelnemers aan het onderzoek (86%) geven aan dat zij zich beter kunnen redden door de ondersteuning die ze krijgen. 83% geeft aan een betere kwaliteit van leven te hebben.
Bij dit zogenoemde ‘cliëntervaringsonderzoek’ gaat het om voorzieningen op het gebied van wonen (bijvoorbeeld begeleiding thuis of een traplift) en vervoer (bijvoorbeeld een rolstoel of scootmobiel). De algemene voorziening ‘Huishoudelijke ondersteuning’ is niet in dit onderzoek meegenomen, maar wordt apart onderzocht.
Tevredenheid bij gebruikers Wmo
De gemeente Barneveld voerde het onderzoek samen met onderzoeksbureau BMC uit. Dit zijn de belangrijkste resultaten uit het onderzoek:
75% van de mensen weet nu waar ze naartoe kan met een hulpvraag. Dit is een flinke stijging ten opzichte van 2021 (toen was het 62%).
Mensen zijn erg tevreden over hoe de gesprekken verlopen en hoe er samen naar oplossingen wordt gezocht. 93% geeft aan zich serieus genomen te voelen door de medewerkers.
34% van de mensen kent de ‘onafhankelijke cliëntondersteuner’. Dit percentage is ongeveer hetzelfde als bij andere onderzochte gemeenten. In Barneveld is dat percentage alleen in het jaar 2021 hoger geweest. Volgend jaar past de gemeente de vragenlijst zo aan, dat ze betere conclusies kan trekken over dit percentage.
Maar liefst 91% is tevreden over de kwaliteit van de hulp. Deze hulp sluit meestal goed aan bij wat mensen nodig hebben (ook 91%). Dat is beter dan in voorgaande jaren.
De meeste mensen zeggen dat ze zich door de hulp beter kunnen redden (86%) en dat hun leven er beter door wordt (83%). Zij zijn zelfstandiger, houden meer vrije tijd over en familieleden worden door de hulp ontzorgd.
De gemeente Barneveld doet het even goed of zelfs beter dan vergelijkbare gemeenten.
Op de goede weg
Wethouder Jolanda de Heer is verheugd: ”Ik ben bijzonder blij met de resultaten van dit onderzoek. Het is belangrijk dat zo veel mogelijk mensen volwaardig mee kunnen doen in onze samenleving. Deze mooie resultaten laten zien dat we op de goede weg zijn. De jaarlijkse evaluatie helpt ons om hulp en ondersteuning in de gemeente Barneveld nog verder te verbeteren.”
Representatief
Voor het onderzoek zijn in totaal 981 vragenlijsten verzonden onder de inwoners die in 2022 ondersteuning vanuit de Wmo hebben ontvangen. Hiervan zijn er 404 ingevuld terug gestuurd. Dat betekent dat 41% van de ondervraagden heeft gereageerd. Dat is meer dan over het algemeen (gemiddeld) bij onderzoeken wordt ingevuld. Daarmee zijn de resultaten van het onderzoek representatief: ze mogen gezien worden als geldend voor de hele doelgroep.
Vervolg
De resultaten worden ook dit jaar weer meegenomen bij het verbeteren van beleid en kwaliteit van de voorzieningen uit de Wmo.

I find the terrifying faux politeness of Dracula's and Johnathan's relationship to be so heartbreaking not just because Dracula seems to be demanding this decorum, testing to see if Johnathan will be brave and explicitly fight against him, but because Johnathan is demanding it too. He writes to Mina in shorthand cause he doesn't dare be caught, even knowing he has so little time left to live. He can't handle the prospect of actually meeting that fate he's logically accepted, so he hopes and he prays and practically begs Dracula himself to keep up this facade. It's all he has left.

Ok but with ylfa's backstory it's just. There's a wolf who can take people's skins and mimic their voices? So there have been many ppl who have gone into the woods, been attacked by a wolf, and then what's returned has looked and sounded and hell maybe even acted like them! But a bit more monstrous. With hair on their hands, and a low snarl, and sure they sound like our dear loved one and they look like them but they're scary. They're scary, and they've changed, and shouldn't they be dead?
And maybe if they're scary they aren't our loved one - they're actually just the scary thing in disguise yes of course! Cause they would never scare us like that. They could never be transformed like that. So it's not them, so they're dead.
