people rag a lot on the visual style of strive lobbies and avatars, and I'm not the biggest fan of it either, but I do appreciate that they designed a create a character system where you're very unlikely to run into someone whose avatar is grotesque and/or obviously racist or transphobic.

went snorkeling today at the marine sanctuary reef and it was magical, like being in another universe.

after a while the snorkel just got in the way and i can hold my breath a long time anyway so i just used goggles and went down deep, saw so many different types of fish in so many colours, lots of stripey ones (we called them goth fish), they had an identification guide online but it's kinda difficult to try and match them up afterwards. also a lot of sea grass and sea anemones, rocks and coral covered in algae, and some jelly fish. no starfish or seahorses which is what I was hoping to see but you can't have everything.

Can you please make the drop rate for antiquities go up after the initial discovery? I have been in Moonlit Cove for four days. I have had nothing for sustenance except for what little supplies I have found in barrels and sacks. The only water sources are either saltwater or skooma.When I close my eyes, I dream of deranged pirates and Moon-kissed jellies. I miss my family and friends. I long for the feel of the sun on my face. Please. I just want my lead and to go home.

P.s don't give me that nonsense about the drop rate depending on the quality of the lead. I have like, 16 of those Echoes of Aldmeris paintings and ten music boxes.

I'm at the point where I would just break down and spend the 75k on it, but I can't because I haven't discovered the lead three times.

I can't say this with absolute certainty because his personal blog where he recounted this story has slipped quietly off into the ether. But if I remember correctly these were mug shots from community service he served. It was for some internet related infraction of course, perhaps to do with 4chan but I can't remember anymore details than that. Moot was 16-18 years old when these were taken.

He said it was the first time he'd been away from a computer and outdoors for a significant amount of time, and that had a profoundly positive impact on him going forward.
