fluff and angst

light rocking against your shoulder and a distant call of your name pulls you from your deep slumber making you groan, not conscious enough to take in where you are. “hey sleepyhead, wake up.” ellie’s raspy whisper has you cracking one eye open. you’re too tired to even speak or think coherently, making you hum in question.

ellie chuckles and looks at you for a moment before speaking. “sorry to wake you up so early.. I gotta be at the construction site in an hour.” you blink away your remnants of sleep and realize ellie has damp hair, is fully dressed for the day and the sun isn’t even up yet. “it’s okay. sorry I fell asleep here I didn’t even realize.” she smiles softly, “no worries, I don’t mind. you looked pretty comfy..I can drive you home on my way to work.”

the short drive to your house shares a peaceful, comfortable silence between you and ellie. the sky painting a breathtaking winter sunrise of pinks and purple. ellie pulls up to your house way too quickly for your liking, the small disappointment of having to part ways felt in your chest.

“thanks for the ride and letting me crash at your place.. I had fun last night.”

“me too,” she smiles and you feel that warmth settle deep in your stomach again. it’s a rarity to see her full smile “it’s no problem, really.. are you busy tonight?”

“no, I don’t think I have anything going on.” you know you don’t actually have anything going on. you bite the inside of your cheek to try to suppress a smile, but ellie looks between your eyes and down at your mouth and smirks at you. caught.

“well, if you’re not busy later you wanna hang out? I get off at 3, we can go to a cafe or something.” she clears her throat and you can see how physically painful this is for her. she forces herself to keep eye contact though.

you giggle and she narrows her eyes at you playfully, unspoken words and body language received between the both of you. “yeah, I’m down. just text me when you get off.”

“alright cool I can pick you up. see you later, ___.”

me: DINA wake the fuck up!!!!!

dina🤍: bitch its literally 7am why tf are u disturbing me

me: wow. anyway! last night I was walking to ur house and some creepy dude pulls up next to me asking me for directions and shit acting super sketchy. ellie pulls up out of nowhere and goes all psycho ellie mode and pulls out a fucking switchblade. I was like 😦 but it was also so hot. he skids off and she gets pics of his plates and we go back to her place for joel to deal with it. he thinks the cops can keep an eye out for that car and see if that guy has anything to do with the assaults happening. it was lowkey really scary but I’m okay. we ended up smoking and talking for hours and it was literally perfect and then we ended up falling asleep and I woke up in the middle of the night laying ON HER CHEST with her arm around me. we’re hanging out again tonight

clothes are strewn all over your bed and floor, while you frantically try to find a cute outfit to wear. it’s fine, it’s just ellie. she’s seen you a million times since you were both 14. you finally settle on a pair of jeans and a black sweater, with your chelsea doc martens. good enough.

ellie🌿🗡️: Hey, I’m outside whenever you’re ready.

me: be right there!

okay, just breathe. everything’s fine!

as you hop into the passenger seat, ellie looks you up and down. “you look good.” you give her a shy smile and observe her; hair tied half up, in a dark green flannel with an oversized black denim jacket, black jeans with her usual pair of converse, multiple rings on her long fingers, and the scent of her woodsy cologne. “thanks, you don’t look too bad yourself.” she smiles and shakes her head, pulling out of your driveway.

“yeah, he almost dropped a whole fucking plank of wood on my head today!”

you start laughing, walking out of the coffee shop together. “maybe the hit would’ve done you good, ellie. you are very hard headed.” ellie’s jaw drops “wow, someone’s feisty today, huh?” you smile and roll your eyes, going to shove her and she catches your wrist, pulling you close to her. your breath hitches and you look down at her lips. something behind you catches ellie’s attention, her smile dropping instantly and face turning ghostly pale.

“ellie? what’s wrong?” she grabs your hand and walks you quickly to the car, opening your door to make sure you get in first before frantically hopping into her seat and speeding out of the parking lot.

“hey, what’s going on?” she shakes her head and doesn’t respond, her chest rising and falling at a rapid rate, eyebrows scrunched together.

the speed of her driving and her concerning behavior is stressing you the fuck out. she pulls up to her house and lets you both in before she runs up the stairs to the bathroom, whipping the door shut with a loud slam.

you slowly walk up the stairs, not knowing whether or not to give her privacy. you suddenly hear her crying and hyperventilating. “ellie, I’m coming in.”

ellie is seated on the floor next to the tub with her head between her legs, forearms laid on her knees. “hey, hey I’m here. can I touch you?” she nods and you gently take her hand, softly rubbing the back of her palm while you place her other hand against your chest. “try to follow my breathing, okay?” you take slow, deep breaths for her to follow until she calms down.

“I’m sorry.” she avoids looking at you. “no, I’m here for you, okay? you don’t have to hide from me.” she wipes the rest of her tears from her eyes and nods. you move to sit next to her and gently rub her back, still holding her hand.

“do you wanna talk about it?” she clears her throat and looks straight ahead. “I uh… saw one of my old foster parents. he was pretty fucked up,” she lets out a dry laugh. “thought I was over it but I didn’t expect to see him.”

“what did he do?” she looks at you in contemplation before looking away with a cold, steely gaze. she sniffs and nods, “he… used to beat the shit out of me all the time for no reason.” she looks down at her scarred tattoo and rubs the skin. “this burn… he tried to-“ she clenches her jaw and shakes her head. “anyway, I managed to get away before he did anything, but I ended up burning my arm on the stove in the midst of it all. tried to press charges but that didn’t work, big shocker,” she scoffs. “I ran away and refused to go back so they placed me with joel and he eventually adopted me.”

she looks back up at you, trying to gauge what you’re thinking. you don’t realize you’re crying until she wipes away a tear from your cheek. “hey, don’t cry it was a long time ago I was just… not prepared for all of that.”

“sorry, I just hate that you had to go through all of that, especially at such a young age.” she lets out a deep breath and nods. “sorry our date got ruined” she gives you a sad smile.

“it wasn’t,” you squeeze her hand “I had a good time and I’m just glad I was able to be here with you.” you look up in thought, “do you have brownie mix?” she looks at you in confusion and lets out a small laugh “uh, I dunno, why?” “whenever I’m sad or going through something, I like to bake because it gives me something to do to take my mind off of everything and brownies are fucking good.” you nod with conviction. ellie laughs, “you are so fucking cute. c’mon let’s go see if I have some brownie mix.”

as you mix the chocolatey batter, and hum to the song playing on the speaker, ellie leans against the counter and watches you. she loves the domesticity and warmth you surround her with, and you were right, doing all of this is making her feel better.

“are you just gonna stand there and stare at me or are you gonna help?” “nah I think I’m good right here” she smirks at you. you nod slowly and look at her with mischief, holding up the spoon. her eyes widen and she points her finger at you, “don’t you fucking dare.”

you chase ellie around the kitchen island, out of breath from laughing and she ends up slipping on her sock, grabbing onto the counter for balance. as you run up to her and try to smear the batter on her face, she grabs your arm. you struggle against her, making you trip over her leg and she catches you, wrapping her arms around your waist. both of your laughters fade into small smiles as both of your eyes trails to each other’s lips. ellie’s face becomes serious as she leans in, lips ghosting yours. the sound of the front door opening has you both abruptly backing away from each other. fucking joel.

“hey kiddo, what are y’all up to?” ellie’s face is beet red and she clears her throat, “just making some brownies. why are you home?” ellie’s voice holds a bit of an edge to it.

“well, damn, I’ll get outta your hair in a minute, just stoppin’ by, forgot to pack my dinner.” she hums in annoyance. your eyes widen at the tension ellie is radiating.

“joel! my parents wanted me to give this to you as a thanks for the free self defense lesson, and for helping me out yesterday.” you open up your bag and take out a bottle of whiskey. ellie’s brows furrow, oops you forgot to tell her.

joel holds the bottle at a downward angle “would’ya look at that.. I’ll be sure to send my thanks to them.” he walks to the fridge and grabs out a container. “alright I’m headin’ out,” he looks at ellie “do me a favor, don’t burn the house down.” she groans and rolls her eyes.

“mm, these brownies are fucking good. you were right after all.” you scoff and smack her arm, “of course I was right. don’t ever doubt me again.” ellie rolls her eyes, “yes ma’am,” she quips sarcastically. “now, pay attention, this is my favorite part of the movie,” you say with feigned sternness. she smiles and nods, finishing off her brownie and leans back into her pillows.

you rest your head on her shoulder and place your hand on her stomach, tracing small patterns. you look up at her and whisper, “ellie?”

“hm?”

“do you really feel okay now?”

she turns her head to the side to look at you, face only inches away, and nods slowly. you feel her breath ghosting your lips and your heart starts racing, chest rising up and down quickly. ellie parts her mouth and licks her lips, leaning in, kissing you softly. she pulls away to look at you, before sitting up and grabbing your face, deepening the kiss.

It has been a stressful few months for him, between his job, you, his own safety and yours, let alone the current argument over her. It's why you and he are now in the car, having this argument.

Price:

He decided that since Laswell invited him to dinner with a few other soldiers and agents, why not take you? Besides you and him haven't gone out much since his last deployment, so this is the perfect opportunity. While having dinner at some restaurant, Price and a woman, much closer to his age than you, stroked conversation. He was telling her stories that not once he had told you and of course, his natural flirty state was in the mix. You were talking with Kate and her wife when you saw how close the woman was getting with your boyfriend. So, as one does, you took his hand and he immediately let go of it, not once making eye contact with you.

Kate and her wife saw this and knew it would not end well if the woman was not taken elsewhere. After dinner, you were the first one to leave the establishment. All others inside were either saying their goodbyes or getting acquainted. "yeah, this is my-" he turns to introduce you to some agent only to find your seat empty. Immediately he left too, only to find you in the car, probably telling your friend what was going on. He gets in, " alright, so will you tell me what the hell that was about?" he asks you. You look at him, for a while now he has been distant, so of course you had even more motives to suspect him. "You let go of my hand," your voice soft yet hinting at some hurt his past action left behind.

That was it, the final straw that threw him over the edge, "you fucking walked away from dinner because I didn't hold your hand any longer?!"

"Yes, do you even care how that even looks? I hold your hand all the time at dinners and this was the first time you let go of it because of that woman!"

"Don't you dare bring her into this." by this point some of the wine he had drunk was making its way into his system. "Why not, hm? why did you let go of my hand, John!" your eyes teary, trying to blink them away. "You really think this is all about you? That I intend to hurt you by some little thing like letting go of your hand?!" Your argument is being heard by some people. He knows better, that at dinners or in public when you hold his hand it's because you are trying to calm yourself down, your social anxiety gets the best of you and his hold brings comfort. "...she's just a friend.." he murmurs. And just when you were going to say something, he gets a text, "Will you come over after you drop her off?" he knows damn well you saw it and now he is prepared for the storm. "you are cheating on me?" oh the way your voice cracked and how tears spilt from your eyes. "...sorry," was all he could say. "you let go of my hand because you and this fucking whore have a thing!" back to yelling. "R/n, you are just a fucking pain in the ass! So of course I am cheating on you!" the instant regret once those words left his mouth.

The look on your face as he said them, never to forget the last time he saw that face of yours. And now you are far from him, he alone in his empty house, never to be called home again. Never to be greeted by you and your happy personality, truth be told, he still looks for you in every place he goes.

Sonic: passenger princess, DJ, snacc provider (and eater), sleeping beauty, “couldn’t we just use my speed to get there?”, argues with the GPS because he knows a faster route (one not requiring the road)

It results in both of them at Amy’s house, snuggled up on the couch binging movies.

🩷 As much as Amy likes sharing the goss with rouge and the girls, there’s nothing like sharing it with her bf because he goes all “omg gurl no wayyy! 💅” or he starts spilling his own tea with her lmao “omg bestie you won’t believe who I saw the other day…”

💙 Sonic plans secret meet ups with Cream, who teaches him how to make her signature flower crowns…he hopes to master it so he can make Amy one, one day…

💙 When Amy told Sonic she wanted to go dancing with him, she didn’t expect it to be just dance…anyways she had tons of fun!

🩷 If they have sleepovers, it’s a tradition that they wear matching onesies (guys comment what they should be hehe)

💙 Amy uses Sonic as the makeup tester. He ends up looking ready for the circus afterwards but he honestly doesn’t mind this because he gets tons of kissies when she’s trying out the lipsticks

(Well EVERYONE does actually…) So one day, despite how inexperienced he is in the whole romance department, sets aside time to work on writing a letter, buying flowers and arranging somewhere nice to take Amy out for her to fulfil her romance fantasies. She’ll even get to dress up for this occasion

It’s a love at first sight thing

You went to a party to catch up with your old friend Kirishima, and there was the number 18 pro hero Ground Zero, staring at you like cupids bow had just shot him

You talk and laugh the whole night, his palms sweating an actually dangerous amount when he asks for your number, while you try to hide how giddy you are when putting it into his phone

From there you go on an awkward first date that’s cute in it’s own way

He opens doors for you, pulls out your chair, pays for everything, and even buys you a rose at the end of the night

A few dates later, and he’s ramping up the courage to ask you to be his girlfriend. The one thing that makes him do it though is Denki trying to make a move on you (only reason he lives to tell the tale is because he did it to make him hurry tf up)

At the start of the relationship it’s all simple, unknowing touches here and there

Him shyly asking if he can hold your hand with a gruff and quiet voice, looking at you for consent before going in to kiss or hug you

He goes above and beyond to just see you, because he can’t get his head wrapped around the fact that YOU are his girlfriend - someone who made his head spin by just walking into a party

The first time he stays over he’s so unbelievably shy nobody would believe it, afraid to lean in too close and scare you off, or do something in your apartment that makes you uncomfortable or angry

He treats you like you’re above everything else on this planet, like you are worth more than anything on earth could put a price on

And then once he gets to know you a lot better, he starts buying you little things

It starts with your favorite crisps and chocolates, with little notes saying ‘you were about to run out idiot’. Then it’s things you point out when you’re together, like a ring in the window of a shop or a dress you saw someone wearing on Instagram

He’ll also do small errands for you, like getting your shopping, putting on a load of washing, doing the dishes just because he doesn’t want you to go without because your busy

And the way he tells you to start calling him Katsuki is the sweetest thing ever in the most Bakugou way possible

You’re both at his apartment, cuddled up on the couch and watching some TV show on Netflix. He’s slowly rubbing his hand up and down your arm absentmindedly, engrossed in the show, happily sitting in your company

You go to move to get a drink, and he softly pulls you down before you have a chance to get to your feet

You say “Bakugou,” to ask him to let you up, but he stops you before you can continue.

“Katsuki.”

“What? Baku—“

“It’s Katsuki.”

“…huh?”

“You’re my girlfriend, you call me Katsuki”

You sat back down and forgot why you ever needed to get up in the first place, replaying the syllables of his name in your head over and over again

When he finds out you’ve been buying his merchandise online he freaks out, and immediately brings over hundreds of unreleased plushies, hoodies, T-Shirts and even blankets

This man was so upset, in his mind it was your first big fight

You’re first big fight though was about the paparazzi

You’re out on a lunch date with him on one of his rare days off, and someone must’ve leaked where you both were

There was hundreds of them because Bakugou was quickly rising through the ranks, him now being number 7 across Japan

When you finally escaped the hoard of flashes he’s livid, and when you try to call him down he snaps at you before dropping you off home and leaving without saying goodbye

It takes 2 hours for this man to calm down and have that gnawing in his stomach before he comes knocking at your door with a bouquet of flowers

That’s the night he tells you he loves you, and never wants to be so angry he does something to hurt you again

After about a year you move in together, and he loves the domestic life you have so much it makes his heart literally burst

He had no idea how much he wanted such a quiet and sweet life until he met you

He loved making you dinner, waking you up with soft kisses, opening his lunch at work and seeing the little notes you’d leave for him, watching movies together, all of it

What he adores the most though is that late night talks

When you’re both settling down and getting ready for bed. When you both just talk about your days, and say any thought that comes to mind while delicately tracing each others skin

It’s that closeness, that trust and intimacy that makes Bakugou fall so hard he knows he can never recover

And even after being together for a year and a half he doesn’t understand how you have such a hold over his heart

He loves everything about you; your smile, your eyes, your lips, the way your hair sits even on bad hair days, the way your hands feel when he holds them - there is not a single thing about you he could ever come to hate

And that’s why on your 2 year anniversary he bought a ring.

A diamond one that you talked about at that party as a joke - one you said you’d never be able to have. It sits in the back of his dresser, wrapped up in a black velvet box and a few socks so you won’t find it

He won’t propose yet, he thinks it’s a bit too soon for you and he wants to be able to pay for every wish you have for the wedding

But he does know that he is a lucky son of a bitch, and wants to make sure he holds on to that luck for the rest of his life, if you’ll let him (spoiler alert you will)

1. I wish i could have a normal love... but no, my brain wants to worship every little detail of you until it drives me insane

Caleb here used to be a skinny little nerd that I would bully until he learned how to do witchcraft.

first, off he used a muscle theft spell to steal all of my muscles along with my dad's then he used another spell to swap ages with my dad, finally he used a spell that changed reality so now my dad is my brother and Caleb is now our stepdad who we're stuck alone with since our mom is always out of town for business.

now he torments us and makes us do all the household chores while he just sits around and watches tv or plays video games, sometimes he'll sit on us or use us as footstools or worse make us wash his feet especially when they're sweaty and smelly in fact, he tends to have a really strong body odor filling up the house with his musk.

I had always been a big fan of Markiplier, my life was pretty hard so i always looked to his videos to cheer me up, one night on my way home from work i saw a shooting star and wished i could be just like Mark, the next morning i woke up in a room unfamiliar to me, i got up and began to examine myself as my body was now different, i than remembered my wish to be Markiplier and realized it worked as i was now in his body.

Fucken wild idea (you can use it if you want, I'll probs never make a fic in my life, I cant write for shit)

Jinx has a mental breakdown while living with Silco at like age 14 (before Vi gets out of prison) and thinks she's going to jinx Silco and getting independence for Zaun and pulls a journey to the west (yes I have been rereading the jttw don't @ me) and goes on a pilgrimage to find enlightenment/ how tf not to be a Jinx to everyone around me, everyone thinks she's fucken dead coz this was entirely impromptu, including Ekko and Zeri (she's there). And Jinx just kinda travels the world meeting new people making enemies and friends along the way including one "special" Demacian *wink* *wink*. She ultimately makes her way to shurima (note Janna has been guiding her journey) and finds like this sunken temple that was dedicated to Janna full of forgotten ancient relics and scripture detailing Zaun and Jannas history. And Jinx is all like tf do I do? And Janna visits her in her dreams and is like, daughter of mine, rewrite our old scripture and traditions into modern zauns language and once you've done become my priestess and bring back our culture to Zaun. And jinx is like seems legit and does that for like 2 and a half years (she's like 18 after this) and makes her way back to Zaun

Meanwhile back at the twin city's, Caitlyn broke Vi out of prison to help with her investigation, Vi finds out from sevika that jinx is probs dead, and Ekko basically confirms it, shit happens Zaun gets it's independence, a year goes by and Jinx 5 years older one pilgrimage and religious awakening later has finally made it back home to Zaun and Silco, Silco of course is ecstatic to have his daughter back and wants to show off to Zaun and Piltover that the princess and heir of Zaun has finally returned, Jinx is like umm dad, Ive had like a religious awakening and such and went on a pilgrimage across the world and I brought back a bunch of scripture of Janna and the church of the storm and I'm basically a priestess now can we umm get Jannas old church back up and running? Silco of course agrees, anything for his little girl. A gala at Piltover rolls around and what's the best way to announce the return of the princess of Zaun then to upstage a piltoven event? So Jinx and slico and the other chembarons go to the gala and guess who's there, Caitlyn, Vi, Ekko and Zeri also Lux and a bunch of Jinx's friends from around the world (jinx has so many political connections it's scary)

You can kinda imagine what happens next, Vi , Ekko and Zeri freak the fuck out, Jinx/powder is alive what? Ekko and Zeri are like do we need to fight she works for Silco, but this is a gala and Jinx is clearly been invited judging by her dress. While Vi is all like at first HOLY SHIT POWDER IS ALIVE, WHAT THE FUCK IS SILCO DOING WITH HER, WHY THE FUCK IS HE WITH HER, GET TF AWAY FROM MY SISTER! Jinx is like Vi wtf ,don't make a scene and drags her off. Caitlyn is all the while awkwardly standing there not really know what to do but be kinda excited to know that vis innocent baby sister is alive, and is like new sister pog as well as the fact she seems to be very close to a Crownguard who has been basically been a bodyguard and shadowed her the entire evening which can only mean good things(Ekko never had the heart to tell Vi jinx worked for Slico, and Vi just talked about her little sis to Cait all the time and Cait has gotten attached to her even tho she's never met her)

Eh can't be bothered to keep going, it's like past 12 am for me and I need to do work tomorrow

We Prince of Egypt AU now, love it (I know the movie is based on the bible, but I've never read it so Prince of Egypt AU it is). Jinx having a spiritual journey just like Moses did while wandering through a desert.

You could almost cut everything and just focus on Shurima adventures too, especially if you wanted to have Jinx interaction with the colourful Shurima champs (or actively try to ignore them while doing her translations only to have them constantly bug her). Jinx could still have traveled all over the place, but you could keep it to backstory or references just to keep the story focused, anything you'd want more detail in could just be side stories.

Like Jinx has holed up in an old catacomb or something and just is constantly interrupted. Nasus could stop in to teach her how to read ancient Shuriman (useful, Jinx likes), which then makes Renekton come bursting in to fight (even when Nasus isn't there and after the first couple times of Jinx actually fearing for her life she just kinda gets used to it and tells him Nasus isn't there much to Renekton's disappointment).

Sivir could show up initially thinking it was a new tomb to explore only to find Jinx, somehow they hit it off and Sivir starts bugging her to raid tombs together since Jinx is an explosives expert + her lessons with Nasus means she can read ancient Shuriman and knows a lot about old architecture.

That could then lead Azir (leaning on his interactions with Sivir from LoR) to showing up trying to use Jinx as a means of getting close with Sivir or even just learning what she's doing, because she wants nothing to do with him. He'd just call her Scribe or something like "Scribe, how was my great granddaughters day? Did she....mention me at all?" Have Azir go off on "For your usefulness to me over the years I shall consider you an honorary Shuriman when Shurima finally rises to its true splendor under my rule! Feel pride in earning such a status Scribe! Maybe even Royal Scribe may be in your future should such usefulness continue!" to which Jinx just goes "Yeah sure, cool."

Taliyah could be the one normal friend she actually likes to see because when she see's Jinx is busy she'll just come back another time while leaving a note. They can go sand surfing together and Taliyah would deliver Jinx's mail correspondence with the other people she met on her journey to keep in touch.

Not really sure about the other Shuriman champions. Would be funny if Jinx went "You know, I think you're my favourite of all the Shuriman weirdos I've met, you keep things simple y'know?" towards Rammus who just responds with "OK" While with Amumu it's "Y'know I get you, but I'm still not hugging you. Maintain our agreed upon distance."

The reason so many years pass before Jinx finally leaves is because of the constant interruptions, but through it she ascends (hehe) to a level of patients not previously thought possible. She gets so used to dealing with the constant interruptions from these Gods and other powerful beings she doesn't even blink and just accepts it.

Upon actually returning to Zaun would be kinda funny if people were more weirded out at how incredibly mellow Jinx is than the fact she's actually back.

At that Gala would be where she could interact with the others she met on her journey. Everyone could be weirded out at the Shuriman delegates just approaching Jinx going "Scribe, Emperor Azir wishes to seek your wisdom on a most important topic. He wishes to know if you have any knowledge as to what Lady Sivir's favourite food might be? Emperor Azir wishes to gift her such for his upcoming visit."

Idk, does sound like a fun idea that I might possible look into doing something for (adding it to the pile ;-;) since Shurima is a pretty neat place which also bleeds into my childhood love of Egypt (I wanted to be an Egyptologist as a kid :3).

SaL anon here friend and I'm glad I got my rage ask out yesterday because there is soooooo much good OG stuff to talk about!! Never thought these are things i'd get to say but Buck getting lightninged and Eddie screaming his name as he climbs up the fucking ladder to save him feels like fucking Christmas (bonus if he does it over Bobby's orders)!! We are gonna live on Monday, i can feel it. I scheduled my check-up that day so I have an excuse to be useless, no idea what I'll come up with for

Tuesday yet. And apparently I'll need a plan for the next week too since we're then getting coma!Buck imagining he was never a firefighter!! So here's some hopes/speculation on how this plays out. I definitely feel like we're going to get an appropriately traumatized Eddie in the first of these episodes (especially if he has to tell Chris), but maybe not as much in the 2nd (though if they don't take this chance to finally work in a Eddie and Maddie talk I'll riot) since it's KR, who the aftermath of Eddie's shooting was a perfect time for BT to get together (meaning I'm keeping my Buddie expectations tempered). But that doesn't mean there aren't other things I hope for. First, we can FINALLY get Maddie out of dispatch and interacting with the firefam. Even better if the Buckley parents are there and everyone just glares at them. As for the coma dream itself, i'd love it if this became a chance to refocus on Buck and Bobby's relationship. Hear me out, Buck might change his dream career but he can't change his childhood or how his parents act. So i'd love to see moments of Buck's dad being proud or giving advice in his dream it it comes out wrong, or goes against the things Bobby would say and Buck pauses and feels it's off somehow. Hell i'd love for the dream to have weird funhouse mirrors of everyone (like Maddie has a not-Chim husband who everyone says is funny but Buck just doesn't get why) but i'd really love to take the comparison between Bobby and Buck's dad specifically. And if this isn't what finally gives us some realization for Buck about happiness, and what that really means to HIM, I'll declare the writers and KR incompetent because the setup is RIGHT THERE. I won't speculate about how this could tie into that other thing, we are taking the next two episodes as a win!! Plus we have some new SaL songs coming and I can't wait to see if we can use them so good luck to us surviving!

I'm also ready to see the firefam at Buck's bedside FINALLY which we haven't gotten since Bobby in s1 and even that had really weird "are they gonna put Bobby and Abby together?!" vibes. Still eternally baffled at what TF Carla was doing there to talk to Maddie instead of literally anyone else in the firefam who just rescued Buck. ANYWAY. Moving on.

I am DYYYYYYING for some Buck/Bobby father/son goodness and this whole situation better fucking deliver. That dynamic has always been one of my favorites and I HATE that s5 told us Buck called Bobby to watch Eddie but didn't SHOW us a single instance of Buck and Bobby talking about what was going on with Eddie. Jail. So I'm also hoping for some Bobby stuff around this whole situation and if it can contrast Buck's own parents? Even better. And I know we're all talking about Bobby but whooo boy do I want to see a reaction from Athena too. GOD if we get coma dream mixed with present day and get to see each of the firefam talking to Buck at some point?! Hearing them all call him "Buckaroo"?! I'm going to eat DRYWALL.

I'm resolutely NOT thinking about that other storyline because that does not spark joy, but I'm VERY interested to see what Buck learns about his life and the secret to happiness through all this. As for songs, I'm begging for "In Another Life" to give us the Learning Curve discussion of our dreams because it's RIGHT THERE. this date was chaotic as shit, but it was the most fun that i’ve had in a long time. i spent over 12 hours with him. we went to the mall to play a stupid fucking game, went to an arcade place (but he couldn’t reload his points properly to play the games and we were CRYING laughing because he felt so embarrassed but it was funny to both of us because it was super chaotic), and then we went to a restaurant to eat dinner instead BUT it was a 30 min wait so we go to a wendy’s instead BUT no one was at the drive thru so we settled on eating mcdonalds in his car LMAO. he also admitted that he didn’t eat the entire fucking day during this “searching for food” process and i got kinda mad and yelled “WHAT?” and he laughed at my response but then i remembered that i also didn’t eat since he picked me up and i felt bad alsdfjlkj

so as we were getting food i was like “i feel so bad i’m so sorry for not saying something or suggesting that we get food” and this MAN puts his hand on my thigh and said that it’s not my fault in that comforting voice that he has and my brain-short circuited so much to the point that i held his hand immediately and interlaced our fingers?!?!? i squeeze his hand and he squeezes back? then after we eat mcdonalds in his car he drives me back home, but parks 2 mins away in my residential area to talk (just like our first date). we hold hands again and cuddle in his car at 10:30 pm and it’s dark out LIKE WTF and then my arm was falling asleep so i ended up hugging his arm (?) lol and his hand was resting on my thigh and he started rubbing his thumb against my thigh like FUCK that’s so fucking hot of him like my GOD why tf like WHAT IS THIS DATE

we talk about relationship shit, and essentially talk about our fears and stuff. i literally said that i like him and that it terrifies me and he says that he’s scared too. then he asks about my past relationships with men and i answer them and i ask stuff too. he says that all three of our dates are in his top 5 of all time. idk how to do this anymore. i’m fucking scared. i don’t know what’s happening to me.

but he made me laugh so much, like i genuinely cannot remember the last time that i laughed and smiled that much. i don’t think that i’ve ever felt so comfortable with someone in a long time. we matched and i felt nothing. i responded on a whim. first phone call i was like “oh. he’s funny and i laughed alot”, then first date i was like “oh, he’s cute and fun to be around.” and now i’m like “i want to see you all the time and kiss your stupid fucking mouth and hold your fucking hand and share my fears and goals and experiences with you. i want to learn about your interests. you’re so dorky but i’m so unbelieveably attracted to you that i want you to do filthy things to me and i want to do filthy things to you and [redacted]”

BUT U KNOW WHAT THE FUCKING KICKER IS? he’s also seeing another girl so i am trying my absolute best to remain unfazed and uninvested. like i signed up for this. i KNEW that he was also talking to another girl. i KNOW that i signed up for this. but all i can do at this point is wait it out, and see where it goes. who knows, maybe this feeling will go away, and this whole rant is pointless but i’m losing my mind right now when i know that i shouldn’t be but i am anyway.

hi r/aita am i the a hole uwu fuck this

right so my dad recently had a surgery, when i say recently i mean literally yesterday. i took the day off n everything to drive him there get him back and ive been taking care of him while still managing to care for my younger sisters, cook for them, clean the house, etc... right? so when i asked my now 15 y/o sister (turned 15 last week idk if i posted abt it) to go out and buy some medicine like painkillers and shit to help my dad sleep faster (thats it) she couldve done it right? there a pharmacy literally like 4 blocks away idk its like a less then 10 minute walk. she was there anyway because she went to the gym around there to work out. i call her up and i go 'hey can you pick up this medicine blah blah blah like right now please' and she agrees to do it right. 20 mins past i dont think anything bc it might take her a while to find the stuff and walk back i call her 'hey can you maybe hurry up ?? sorry its just he really needs them yk' and she goes 'yeah whatever i know calm down' and im like ...what??

anyways 15 more minutes past, she should be home. i call her, 'where are you ??' she says shes otw. okay. 15 more minutes, where tf is she? the gym isnt far from the pharmacy btw, literally less than 5 mins. also painkillers n shit are like right by the door and its never busy either. im abt to call her and she sends me a text telling me to open the door. i tell one of my sisters to go open it and she goes outside to see where said sister is. i walk over to the door and ask where sister is and little sister says 'shes here but her friends are here' ..what? what. i see sister walking up the steps a huge fucking bag in her hand and shes laughing w her friends. she steps in her friends still outside. im staring hella hard at her and i close the door and im like where the fuck have you been? i asked you for 2 things. why are your friends here what the fuck? and shes like oh my god i got the stuff calm down. and i say thats not the point you cant take a single day of not hanging out w friends?? (she hangs out w them like 8 times every week deadass)

and shes getting mad at ME?? she tells me they were at the gym with her and i tell her then why are they here?? 'they were at the gym with me' 'okay that still doesnt explain why r they here???' and she take the medicine out of the back and goes 'it doesnt matter oh my god just go give this to YOUR dad'

EXCUSE ME???? MY DAD???? i say 'what do you mean your dad, you mean our dad !!?!' i leave to give dad his medicine and shes in the garage w her friends, i tell her they need to leave and she says theyre abt to but shes just waiting for her friends mom to pick them up. im done w it atp so im like okay fine whatever. its like 3 oclock now and i serve the other girls lunch and i wait for my sister to come in. 30 minutes and her friends mom isnt here and she said 'were not hanging out just waiting' LIKE A FUCKING LIAR.

anyways yeah yall im not bitchy right im in the right for yelling at her right. CAUSE SHES GOING ALL "BLAH BLAH UR SO THIS AND THAT" LIKE SHTU UP OUR DAD IS LITERALLY IN PAIN AND YOU CANT BE AGOD PERSON FOR ONCE??@?!?@#$U^

tldr ; i send sister out for medicine for our sickly father, she doesnt get back for like 45 mins and when she does she says it doesnt matter it took her so long and tells me to just give the medicine to 'your' dad as if he's not her father ??? i get mad and yell @ her blah blah she also brings her friends over when i told her not to n shit idk

Went to bed late like 2am

The beginning is fuzzy there was a point I was in an art class which my bitch of an art teacher in hs and then I was riding in van with others and we like hanged out by some park.

Omw back "home" it's late and dark. I cross the street and start to jaywalk with another dude. All of a sudden the clocks on some buildings start glitching the fuck out, it's supposed to be 1am and they speed up. Next thing you know it turns to day then night then day and it's like glitchy tf out. I grab the dudes hand and we run for the nearest home, small 2 story abode, instead of knocking I immediately grab the handle and it just so happens to be unlocked and we throw ourselves in, locking the door behind us. All the blinds are closed so theres only a pale blue light from some idle tv screen to see. I start to go by the stairs to see if theres anyone home, and I can hear a girl talking to someone prob on the computer and she goes "oh fuck forgot to do some chem hw" and leaves her room quick, but I'm right at the cusp of the stairs so I end up catching her as she tries to go down. She doesnt scream just "wha-??" Bewildered. I quickly tell her to go on her phone, apologize, and say apocalypse question mark. We get back to the first floor and it seems the whole world is getting fucky lucky. Next thing you know the blinds open and its daytime outside but our phones still say it should be like 1am. The clocks on the appliances are wrong and say like 10am. We immediately go to close the blinds and fix the clocks. Unplugging some, that can be removed (ie wall clocks). Theres a tap on a window and the blinds gets opened, we duck bc who knows what's there. And it's some alien like ur old fashion movie grey guy. And with one glance he changes the clocks. So it becomes a game to avoid being in his vision, closing blinds and fixing clocks cause tbh we didnt have stuff to really barricade them. Eventually the aliens appearance changes to be more human like and he sighs and tries to make some deal with us, also explaining? What's going on. With dark curls and glasses he says how we have to keep up with the correct time or things will get removed, aka us/the home. He is one of many that was sent to observe/test an area like a small town. Upon actually looking outside the window, it's still bright and sunny. The entire neighborhood and town is replaced with rolling green pastures and the backyard with a large lake. It gets fuzzy so I dont remember the convos but we eventually become friends and just have to keep up the game with the occassional clock adjustment and the girl from the upstairs falls in love with him and were able to hang out, outside too no issue. In an p empty world with a lucky alliance.

I wake up n go to the bathroom so when I go back to bed the dream does a restart and instead it's in the perspective of what if this occurred just as hs was letting out where it was all kids no teachers. So it had us collecting all the teachers plants and organizing classrooms into some bedroom's. We couldnt use the outer edge windows for light but thankfully irl and in my dream my hs had a tiny courtyard that could be used. But the dream did not continue beyond this.

And then hes like lol okay, but then he’s lowkey scared you’re gonna tease him because inside he knows that the little things you do make him BLUSH so tbh he is not ready to expose himself…

So then he like hesitantly puts it on and is like what now? and you’re like now we wait to see if you react :) you two are just lowkey having a staring contest cuz hes awkward like that

And then slowly his heart beat just goes up +1 every second and when you go closer to his face to get a better look, his monitor is quickly goes to +10 every second

“AHHH LOOK LOOK AT YOUR MONITOR!!!!”
