I've been thinking about that 'insane transwomen in Seattle' post and the microaggressions that transwomen suffer every day. I was thinking about their little man-hating cisphobic polycule.

I'm Seattle adjacent, and I like to think I'm part of a pretty extensive transgender community (~12 people regularly, and I make a point of going to gay bars and chilling with other queers every week). All of whom are pretty well adjusted. And its like.

Just go hang out with a butch. Go hang out with a masc. Go hang out with a guy, trans or cis. Healthy masculinity is something that so many people very visibly need in their lives.

Drink a beer (or observe someone drinking a beer), listen to someone with a deep voice point out that 90% of those problems that you're self-destructing over are solvable. Go on a long drive. Smoke something. Ask them to help you mount your TV. Buy a pizza. It'll help.

And I know this is taboo, but maybe don't fuck them afterwards. Just hang out.

Sometimes I’m like “why do we have to have races in Austin? Why can’t we have races in Dallas?” And then i remember the last time we had a race in Dallas.
