Our foster momma had her puppies yesterday!
#the puppy count xray estimated 6-7 and she had 10 lol#no wonder she looked like she’d swallowed a beach ball#everybody’s doing good. squeakin and eatin. she’s a very good momma#this was her third litter apparently. last one too#after everybody’s weaned we’re getting her spayed and adopted#no more babies for you maam only a life of pampering and lazing around from here on out#her babies are very very cute#it’s wild how things work out cause I was planning on adopting a puppy before we started fostering her#so now I’m just gonna keep one of her puppies :)#they’re half husky so they’re gonna be fun little guys

Hey.
Kim teaching Harry how to skateboard and Harry teaching Kim how to roller skate.
Harry thinks he fucking sucks at first because Kim gets the hang of roller skating pretty quickly. As it turns out, skateboarding is a lot harder than roller skating.
I don’t know where I’m going with this. Um. Kim still prefers skateboarding because of the technical aspect and risk factor but he’s surprised he enjoys how chill roller skating is.
Harry enjoys skateboarding because a) time with Kim as a teacher and b) oh wow a challenge? Your physical instrument loves challenges. You will conquer this with the force of your—what do you mean this is more the centipede’s thing? Holy shit no wonder Kim’s so cool

Building off of the Iceman calendar…
Just hear me out, Ice’s admiral from his aircraft carrier before top gun make him pose for a calendar so they have an excuse to hang up pictures of him in their offices. He’s literally every admiral’s dream pilot, he’s reliable, focused, well-behaved, professional, listens well, follows instructions, literally making admirals swoon well before 1986 rolled around. They want to be able sigh longingly and stare dreamily at pictures of the perfect Naval aviator that is the Iceman.
ALTERNATIVELY
Before the events of Top Gun, Ice lost a bet with his squadron and had to pose for the calendar photo shoot. When he realized it was all a set up it was too late and now on the USS enterprise (before Maverick heads back to TOPGUN) Wolfman and Hollywood get a hold of a copy of the calendar from someone from Ice’s previous aircraft carrier and hangs it up in their ready room and oh my god they’ve never seen Ice so flustered in his life
HONESTLY I just need Slider taking the pictures, showing Ice how to pose and overall just hyping him up telling him how hot he looks because he doesn’t let anyone else in the room and then the boys from top gun somehow getting a hand of the calendar but then all of a sudden they’re begging him to go to the beach to play volleyball but nonono don’t wear your sweatpants, wear these pink time-period accurate short-shorts they so conveniently have in their bag

#I don’t even know how to feel right now#my kiddo moved up into the older kids room#then yesterday I get a message from daycare saying another kid scratched my baby’s face#and I’m like okay a scratch is just a scratch it happens#when I got home and saw him I was like what the fuck this wasn’t just a little scratch it is dark and red and angry#and then I go to give him a bath and I see he has a bitemark shaped bruise on his shoulder#and I’m like what the fuck why wouldn’t you tell me this too#and I go in today to talk to the director and she wasn’t there#they give me the incident report that says basically this kid#wanted to take my sons pacifier and he wouldn’t let him and he scratched his face and pushed him down and bit him#like what the actual fuck#why wouldn’t you tell me the whole thing#I had to find out on my own by seeing a mark on my babies skin#I’m so upset#he’s still such a gentle baby like he doesn’t hit or bite out of anger yet#so it just breaks my heart to know this other kid did this to him#and that the daycare ladies weren’t there to monitor and see it happen

it’s the 90s in my monkee universe where davy lost his mom young like he did irl and they are watching the land before time because, yknow it seemed like a cool newer movie and peter LOVES don bluth films so they happened to pick it up from a video store after it left theaters so they’re all at home on the couch snuggled up and then they get to the scene where the sharp tooth attacks and mike sees it coming and has a hand on davys arm immediately and sure enough theres a dying mother scene.
davy stiffens a bit but says he’s fine and so mike squeezes davys hand a bit but then eventually davy starts to sniffle and mikes like “okay that’s it micky pause it.” and despite it having been so many years since his mom passed and him having been so young at the time, something still hits davy, especially seeing a kid in denial that his mom is going away because he just assumed she’d always be there!
but davy is determined to push past most of his babyish ways of the past so he keeps assuring mike (who is holding his face and looking into his eyes) that he’s fine between breaths. but mike is in full mumma mode because davy became his baby forever and always, and they turn the film back on and it’s all fine but mike holds davy extra tight and snuggles up to him throughout the rest of the watch and davy can’t help but push himself into mike and cling onto his shirt because mike is there for him and he does love him so much.

I love her.
