I decided to remake Loki Beaker in the Sims 4 and play around with him a little.

I think he's just as pretty as he is in Sims 2 (the PC version; that guy from the PSP game doesn't even have those glorious eyebrows #notmyloki).

Okay I don’t usually post actual posts on here anymore, and usually I don’t like posting conflicting things because I have temper, but can we start a #notmyladyloki and #notmyloki tag directed towards ‘Larry’ and Sylvie, because to me they’re not Lokis. This whole thing is inspired by the #notmyrodrick meme that was around a long time ago, it was because people didn’t like the new Rodrick actor in a Diary of a Wimpy Kid Movie. 

Also, Mobius and Sylvie are absolutely NOT the first people Loki ever cared about other than himself. Did everyone suddenly forget Thor? And Frigga? Even forking ODIN? Where is this "Loki never cared about anyone until now" coming from?

I know it's absolutely outrageous! Loki even protected Sif and the W3 many times during their adventures. And didn't even harm them when they tried to commit treason against him although Sif straight up almost tried to stab him. It's absolutely disgusting and disgraceful retcon. Loki's only motivation has always been that he wants to be loved and valued. He literally cries whenever he confronts Thor or Frigga precisely because he cares about them and thus is emotional around them.

The show just wants to retcon him into a pathetic power hungry bully who only cares about himself. This is #NotMyLoki

Jeez, the antis have found out about Waldron's old script we mentioned a few weeks ago. They're starting a #notmyLoki campaign on twitter, similar to the campaign #notmySteve after Avenges Endgame

Re new Loki vs. old Loki and the acknowledgement of differences: I have had people (more than two!) arguing with me that Thor's style of speaking was not changed in Ragnarok. There's just not a lot you can say to something like that.

Yup. It was changed in TR. But the new speaking style in TR that Loki and Thor used, while more casual than in previous films, was still more similar to the original style than what we got in the show where Loki just totally uses earth slang and doesn’t sound like himself at all. I think Mike Waldron didn’t have the ability to write a character that didn’t talk that way. I also think a lot of Larry’s dialogue (I call the tv character Larry bc he’s #NotMyLoki and seems to be Loki’s dumb lookalike cousin Larry Odinson) is the same dialogue from the original time travel rom com script that Mike Waldron wrote and that I’m quite certain he cannibalized for this show.

 I think that’s why some of the lines just don’t make sense for Loki to say - like when he won’t believe the view out of the TVA window is real or when he’s shocked at sentient space lizards existing - and sound like things a regular human guy would say. It’s bc the lines were originally written for a regular human guy to say and Mike didn’t bother changing them. 

I'm happy Mobius got alt f4'd. Too bad he's not going to stay dead because we all know he's going to get deus ex machina'd back later. Hopefully for ep 5 we'll finally get Loki getting to exist without someone shitting on him constantly, like seriously, he's written to just sit there and take the "verbal ass whooping" (which is the weakest roasts ive seen anyways) by Mobius. Where's your silvertongue at king!

yeah. mobius is for sure coming back but I still enjoyed watching him get deleted lol. and as for ep 5. I don’t have high hopes. probably loki will still get beat up and called pathetic by all the other Lokis who are also mike’s OCs. bet that pathetic excuse for Kid Loki will kick him in the shins or punch him in the face or something. and we’ll probably get to hear more about how sylvie is the “superior Mary Sue OC Loki”. and yeah. Larry (as I call the show character bc he is is #NotMyLoki) has no silver tongue. he couldn’t talk his way out of a paper bag and he’s about as crafty and subtle as your average sledgehammer.

 love how we’re supposed to buy loki and Sylvie’s love story bc the narrative TELLS us they’re in love without ever showing us or showing their relationship develop or giving any reason why they would fall in love. and similarly we’re TOLD by the narrative that loki and Mobius are friends even tho it makes sense since all we’ve seen is mobius denigrate, mock, humiliate, torment, torture, and enslave loki.
