Spirited Away (2001)
El Sin Cara es un Dios errante que no tiene casa. Él representa a la sociedad contemporánea porque mucha gente cree que el dinero le hará feliz. Siempre quieren dinero, siempre imitan a alguien y también siempre están insatisfechos.
Miyazaki carga sobre el Sin Cara todos los males de la sociedad, pero no juzga a ese ser como algo "malo", sino como alguien sin rumbo que busca desesperadamente afecto y, frustrado por el mundo que no se lo entrega.
El Sin Cara es fácilmente corrompible y manipulable pero que también puede redimirse.

El Sin cara es uno de mis personajes favoritos. Y como leyeron, es un personaje que tiene un gran significado.
La escena donde toma té y come un pastel tranquilamente después de todo lo que pasó en la casa de baños, se me hacía especialmente llamativa además de tierna. Al saber bien los significados de muchas cosas, esa escena toma un especial sentido. En ese momento, el Sin Cara estaba purificado y en la casa de Zeniba encontró la compañía que tanto buscaba.

Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.
All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.
