I was poking around through Neopets stamp albums the other day and I've decided that my personal favorite is the Mystery Island one, on the grounds of having the rarest stamps be almost entirely misprints of other pre-existing stamps

when i was younger I thought that private school and boarding school were the same thing, and also that they were only for kids who were too bad to attend normal school so their parents gave up and sent them away.

this led to someone online attempting to brag about going to private school to me and 11 year old me only thought "Damn, it sucks their parents don't love them."

#it was on like neopets or gaia online i think #they were trying to brag about how smart they were because they went to a private school?#and i was like. this is a non-sequitur. why are you telling me you got kicked out of good school and got sent to shitty school #my logic was that schools that cost money must be only for bad kids #because you have to pay them to let your kid in. because your kid is so hopeless and bad #so its like a punishment #because you're costing your parents money

Oh my god I FINALLY got my hands on a Candy Paint Brush on Neopets. I've been waiting for someone to auction one off at a reasonable price (aka not double the JellyNeo price) and every time I see one I forget I'm bidding on an auction and lose to someone without chronic focus disorder.

But I finally caught an auction with zero bids with less than 30 minutes left and now I'm finally getting my Candy Gnorbu !

Today was incredibly terrible in real life so imagine my surprise when I got this extremely cursed toy out of the Neopies???? (For those of you who don't go here, that's a good thing. OMG.)

Anyway, a while ago I played with a neopoints-only Malevolent Sentient Poogle Plushie custom and ended up with this very silly concept, so I might go for a silly hacker-related pet name (I found one that's free!), but I should not make these decisions this late at night.

Id tried to regain access to my old old old neopets account that got frozen half a decade ago but they said they couldn't help me bc there wasn't an email attached (I'm going to guess it's bc the email was ancient as hell and it got terminated at some point)

But after the anniversary livestream I was given hope to regain access to it regardless, so I sent them an email about it again. I included as much detail as I could possibly remember too, just because.

And this morning I got a reply! They asked for the place where the acct originated from + my birthday, and let's HOPE kid me used the right birth date because my god. I'm buzzing.

#thank god i was a goody two shoes back then and theres a non 0 chance i used my real one #i remember being barred from certain spots in the game like the boards b/c i wasnt 13 yet. so theres hope #neopets #neotag
