im back at it again, editing and uploading hundreds of oldass sketches from 2011 to my toyhouse... in the past couple days, i've completed 159, which means that now i only have... 309 to go!!!!! aaaaAAAAAAAAA

i was taking a bath in a relatively small bathroom, and there was also some kind of party happening in the bathroom, with at least 5 strangers hanging out in there, all while im sitting in the bathtub. there was music playing, and a bunch of songs i recognized turned out to be by kendrick lamar. i was like “wow, a lot of the hits of the early 2010s were by kendrick lamar!” and a guy standing next to the bathtub was like ‘i know, right?’ and was so excited to talk to me about this that he got into the other end of the bathtub and sat down, fully clothed. and then instead of talking about kendrick lamar we talked about homestuck. ????

anyone in or near nyc: the gaza solidarity encampment is in desperate need of support as columbia university president minouche shafik intends to have the camp swept (again) at midnight if an agreement cannot be reached with organizers. the escalation against activists has been ongoing all week long.

i have been in touch with students (who wish to remain anonymous for their own safety) and following others participating in the encampment and your support at this moment is absolutely crucial if you can spare it.

**i’ve seen various mentions of the national guard being dispatched but as of several hours ago ny governor kathy hochul said she had no plans to allow for it. this, however, does not keep the encampment safe from violence at the hands of the NYPD.

I kinda lived half of 2023 (maybe more) like a drowning rat in a bucket but this year I'll live like a normal rat. outside of a bucket

i was like 'why do TNT keep adding things to the weekly quest prize pools and not removing anything... they have to rotate stuff out eventually, right??' when a horrible realization hit me...

maybe they don't want to remove anything because if they did, it would mess up anyone who was in the middle of trying to earn it for their weekly reward

anyway, if they never remove anything, the weekly prize pool will become an absolute nightmare. my proposal: they pick a day to remove old stuff from the pool, and anyone who's completed at least 1 day of quests to earn that item just gets it automatically. it would be less harmful to the values of items than just leaving everything in the pool Forever, and won't result in anyone getting upset that the thing they were saving for was suddenly taken away at the last moment. (the 'at least 1 completed day of quests' requirement would be to avoid side accounts and inactive accounts getting autogifted expensive items for free)

only downside is. i don't know how doable/difficult that is to do either. but god. i just hope that the weekly prize pool doesn't just slowly become a thing with like, thousands of items in it

Hey, amidst the chaos of... everything on the internet, pay attention to Hawaii/Hawai'i!

There have been plans from a non Hawaiian organisation to build a 5 acre parking lot, 13 lot subdivision and a comfort station for tourists on the ridge of the sacred Pololū Valley!

This project doesn't acknowledge Pololū Valley as a wahi pāna (a celebrated and storied place in the cultural traditions of Hawaii/Hawai'i) and instead treats it as just plain land that can be sold to a highest bidder.

Pololū Valley is anything but that.

So please sign the petition to stop this project! As of writing this, 883,470 people have, but we need more!

also, as a bonus, just because i thought it was interesting:

when they converted the Lutari, they swapped the markings on its tail and made its default eye color green. prior to conversion, the Lutari's iris color always changed to match the brush it had been painted with, but post conversion all of the basics + white and brown have green irises.

tragic: compressed air has not fixed my mouse's newly jittering scroll wheel, AND i changed the batteries recently enough that i don't think low battery is the problem (but long enough ago that i don't think that the new batteries are the problem either)
