thinking about how the only time bobby and cas interact in season four is when he knocks him out cold to talk to dean alone. and the next time bobby sees him, cas is powerless and just comes to steal dean's necklace in a weird interaction that had to be filmed close-up because dean and cas are just inches from each other's face. the next time is an offscreen interaction where he just gets dean's address from bobby and probably left immediately after. combine this with the fact that bobby knew dean had a male siren the season before (and tried to be supportive) and let cas be in the family photo a few episodes later, there is a nonzero chance bobby singer was the first destiel shipper.

I know that no one who follows me is demanding New Content, but I'm annoyed that I've been motivated and excited to draw, yet for the past few weeks/months haven't always been able to.

I think things are finally improving, or at least returning to a level of normalcy I can deal with, though I still might not regularly share new art for a while. But I do have:

secret project! (not actually secret. i just enjoy referring to it this way for now.) secret project ends mid-May.

FTH art (x2), which is kind of the light at the end of the tunnel for me - both of them are SUCH good ideas by the people who requested them. I should be able to finish them around late May-June-ish.

TRE WEEK......... which is in August. I don't want to over-commit ahead of time to doing something for each day except that I really, really do, but hopefully over the summer I can spend some time to make something nice for it, however much that ends up being. and if I don't, I will simply appreciate from a distance whatever comes of the fandom allowing 'beach episode' as a prompt

in general, I feel like I need to do more studies & seriously practice certain things I want to improve. I kind of want to go into hibernation for a bit to focus on studies, so I can try to complete the above projects + other things at a level that I'm happy with. so if there isn't anything new or interesting here for a little while, that may be why o7

i've always had a kinda intense desire to change or at least choose my own name. i find names to be really important, and having a name that fits perfectly for say, my OCs is really important to me. i spend a lot of time on baby name sites, looking at options and scrutinizing them for how much i would want them to be my name.

on the other hand, my mom gave me my name i can't just get rid of it it was a GIFT

frequently i will be innocently reading a post only to be hit halfway through with “g’raha definitely wants to sleep with the wol” well i am here to say not my g’raha. some of our wols are just pals to him. some of our wols have mildly jealous and very powerful girlfriends. instead.

the superficial pokemon thing that annoys me the most is not the internal color listings, but how they keep fucking up not just new shinies, but also OLD shinies, and every time i find another one that used to be really distinct and fun and has become virtually indistinguishable from the regular form, i take a little more poison damage. like ok fine milotic is officially Pink, Whatever, but why has shiny drapion become virtually indistinguishable from regular drapion. why has it been getting worse with every new console leap

i genuinely want to know what gamefreak's reasoning behind a lot of recent shiny palettes is. even if the answer is 'we're overworked and just dont have time to put into making sure every shiny stays consistent or is interesting' or 'we genuinely think its more fun when the shinies are hard to spot' or even 'branding likes it better when the design is Consistent, for recognizability' it would be comforting to at least KNOW
