Can I just say how freaking amazing Murphy’s Law in MML is on a writing standpoint?
It is an excuse for constant Deus ex Machina events that move the plot forward, and not only does its in-universe explanation make all the random events justified, it makes them expected. It’s a fun way of setting up dozens of surprises per episode, since, while the audience knows things will go wrong, they never know what will go wrong.
Another great thing is that, since Murphy’s Law by its nature primarily makes bad things happen, it never feels like a cheap plot device as it would if random good things were constantly happening. In fact, it is the primary thing challenging the main characters, making these random events welcomed. Random bad things happen constantly, and it’s a joy to watch how the protagonists deal with them.
And of course, since we primarily see Murphy’s Law affect Milo, we get to witness this hyper-competent badass ball of sunshine always showing off his quick thinking and positive attitude. The world is practically out to get him yet he just goes with the flow and enjoys his life to the fullest. He’s such a sweet kid just doing his best and not letting all the chaos get to him. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another character who so quickly bring me instant joy.
So yeah. I just love Milo Murphy’s Law even all the way down to the conceptual level and Milo just makes it all even better.
I totally did not forget to post this for 2 weeks-
ANYWAY-
Another clay Ram orb done :) Wandering monk skin this time.
Well, that was the intention, anyway.
I happened to have this sick metallic bronze paint laying around, wanted an excuse to use it, so I slapped it here, thinking heeeey it's fiiiiiiine, it's dark enough to match the skin...
... It isn't dark enough to match the skin, and looks like the gold weapon version of both monk skins instead LMAO
Either way, I'm not complaining, it's a cute lil orb, how could I complain :P

I am pretty much planning to spend the next 3 days in leisure for the most part so going to try a little drabble prompt game on here to get back into the swing of writing more regularly.
If you want to partake, will be KakaSasu-centric obviously, but send me:
1-2 nouns or short descriptor (can be objects, settings, theme, etc.)
Hey, you don't need to post this but remember to be kind to yourself too. Take a little time for yourself. Its ok to be a little selfish sometimes. I adore how much love and kindness you give, but remember to keep a little of that for you. Don't tie your worth to what you can give.
thank you love <3
i do DEFINITELY have a problem with that, but to a certain extent it makes me happy to know i’m making other people happy!! like just complimenting internet people for fun. it’s nice and it gives me almost a sense of accomplishment in a way? idk
