hiiiii little one! thank you for the prompt and of course because it's jercy i got inevitably carried away with it and we cannot count it as part of the drabble challenge hehe hope you don't mind.

hate me, hate me not

“I think he hates me,” Jason groans, collapsing onto the couch with a dramatic sigh. “I think he genuinely hates me and is planning my murder every second he has to make eye contact with me.”

“He doesn’t hate you Grace,” Leo laughs, scruffing a hand through his blonde hair in some version of affection. “I’ve known Percy since I was like twelve. I don’t think that boy is capable of hating anyone.”

“Did you see how he looked at me today?” Jason doesn’t take in a word his best friend is saying. He’s too busy thinking about the bright green eyes that had scorched his skin. Long dark eyelashes blinking slowly, twisted frown creasing unbelievably perfect eyebrows. The man was a modern Adonis and he hated Jason to the core. “Anyway, how could he NOT hate me?”

Jason still winces every time he thinks about the first meeting he had with Percy Jackson. At one of Leo’s house parties. He had spilled soda all over the man’s white t-shirt and laughed, because the stain had looked like a bird taking flight. He had asked if he could draw the bird on, make a statement from the stain. The look of horror on Percy’s face had been enough to make him want to crawl into a hole and die. Let his bones bury themselves. And then when he had tried to apologise the next Monday he had mistakenly confessed that he thought Percy was the most beautiful human in existence. Another look, accompanied but what could have only been an embarrassed awkward blush, from the black-haired beauty had also run that conversation into the dirt. Since then Jason had avoided the man as much as possible but apparently, at least according to Leo, that strategy just meant Percy thought he was stubborn, and conceited, and childish. There was no winning and now he would have to be in a small confined space with him for at least a few hours.

Hence the Dorian Gray level couch fling and endless whining.

“Everyone will be here in a few,” Leo hops up from the couch, host-mode already buzzing in his bloodstream. “Help me set up?”

With a deep breath that shoves down yet another groan of agony he drags himself from his comfortable spot and trails behind his friend. Minutes later the doorbell rings signalling the first of their ten person party.

“I’ll get it,” Leo is already walking out, “You handle chip and dip.”

Okay he can do that, and in the meantime he can think up a strategy to avoid certain other persons.

The plan starts out well, as he plays through scenarios and opens tubs of dip, but then he hears deep resonating laughter and every nerve in his body decides it’s changing career paths: inferno hiring.

The doorbell rings again and he hears Leo point their guest to the kitchen with the reassurance he’ll meet them in there.

Before Jason has time to breathe Percy Jackson is walking into the space.

And holy fucking shit. He looks… magical, unreal, incapacitating.

“Who are you and what have you done with Percy?” He blurts; he instantly wants to smack himself so hard he turns back time.

“Uh hi Jason,” The man just blinks, gives him an awkward smile. It doesn’t take away from how beautiful he is. Unfairly the soft tilt of his lips only brings out a small dimple and some unhuman-like sparkle into those already bright green eyes.

“I'm sorry,” He sighs, decides he can’t do this anymore. Cant be this unpleasant vexatious person any longer. “I know you probably hate me by now but gods i don’t know how to act around you. I feel like I'm losing my mind.”

“I—” Percy starts.

“No please,” Jason waves him off. Can see the confusion and hurt glittering in his expression. “It’s not your fault. I just find you unbelievably gorgeous and my brain cells don’t know how to handle it so they just blurt out anything. It’s a terrible strategy that’s left our conversations uncomfortable and short-lived. So I'm sorry. I genuinely was trying to be your friend before i ran my mouth like preying cheetah.”

“You find me attractive?” Percy stares at him in shock, eyes unblinking, dark skin rosy in their kitchen light.

“Well yes,” He nods, looking the man before him up and down. “I’m awkward, not blind.”

“I thought you hated me?”

He stops piling chips onto a plate, and it’s his turn to stare unblinking. “I thought you hated me.”

The bubble of laughter, uninvited and inevitable, bursts from him. Worse, once he starts he can’t stop. It’s just pouring from his mouth, taking up space in the small kitchen. Tears pool in his eyes as he remembers every cringey interaction and resulted sob-session after that. How, two years later, are they here. Life isn’t even real. Life is different puzzle pieces from different puzzles all in the same box and he is having a grand old time of trying to piece it together.

Percy is laughing too, bright and uninhibited and the sound is symphonies curling around his own amusement.

“We are idiots.” He manages to gasp.

“Well that i can agree with,” Leo leans against the doorway, brown eyes sparkling with his own laughter.

“Come on Grace,” The black-haired man finally manages to leash his giggling, “I’ll help take this stuff out.”

“Then will you let me take you out?” He winks.

Percy smiles so brilliantly, so big, it makes the fire in his chest feel dim. “Yes Jason, we’ll go on a date.”

Okay, so I think the prompt for this one was “Get out of the way before I murder you,” however if that’s not the one don’t fear! I’ve done all of the prompts now (and sorry for the wait! I tried DX), so you don’t need to worry about yours not coming up. Anyways...

Do I smell some protective Logan? And perhaps some…Logicality?

Characters: Logan and Patton

Relationships: Logicality, as you’ve guessed.

Warnings: Cursing, nasty people, the r******d slur spoken by said nasty people.

They were at Patton’s favorite bakery, looking over the available pastries for sale and appreciating the sweet aroma of baking bread that tickled their noses. Patton was wrapped in a fluffy robin-egg blue sweater, his cheeks flushed red from the nippy morning outside and a bright goofy smile plastered on on his face. Logan stood next to him; dignified, serious, but nonetheless unable to hide a smile either at his husband’s excitement.

It was Patton’s birthday today, so Logan had taken him to his favorite shop as a special treat to celebrate. And judging by the look on Patton’s face, he’d made the right choice in taking him here. He now stood behind his husband, tugging at the blue-striped scarf wrapped around his neck while Patton pressed his face to the glass encasing the treats like an excited child.

“Ooooh, these all look so good!” He squealed excitedly, unable to decide between the freshly-made brownies and macaroons that sat on little plates under the glass. The cashier behind the counter, whose name tag read Roman, smiled at Patton as he looked over the treats.

“Can’t decide, huh Patton?” He asked with a laugh, and Patton quickly straightened himself, smiling back at him.

“I love everything here! How can I pick only one?” he answered, letting out a sad sigh and giving Logan puppy eyes. Logan sighed and rolled his eyes playfully, approaching the counter and slapping a few bills onto it.

“We’ll take some of both,” he told Roman, unable to help but smile at how excited this made Patton.

“Yes!” he shouted, jumping and pumping his fist in the air. “I love macaroons! And brownies!! And…and everything else here!” Roman chuckled as he bagged up the requested items and handed them to him, unable to resist his contagious excitement, and Logan watched with a silently adoring expression as he took the bag and pranced towards the exit. He stopped at the door and spun around, the wrapper crinkling in his hands.

“Coming, dear?” he asked, tilting his head with such an innocently-sweet look Logan could feel his heart melting.

“Of course.” He nodded to Roman with a small smile and departed, joining his husband who had already plunged his hand into the bag and was happily chowing down on a raspberry macaroon.

“Gross,” sneered a voice. Logan felt his blood freeze at the tone and whipped around, finding an older man leaning against the wall by the door. He scowled at the couple.

“What?” Logan hissed, and Patton froze, his hand halfway into the bag. Hurt stung in his eyes and Logan quickly moved so that he was between his husband and the older man; who only smirked.

“You heard me,” he answered, smirking at how wounded Patton looked. “Gross. You. You ever potty train him?” he pointed at Patton. “Is he fucking retarded or something?”

“Sir!” Roman slammed his hands down on the counter as a tear rolled down Patton’s cheek, fury in the cashier’s eyes. “You will leave. Now.”

“What, so I can’t express my opinion around here?” The man sneered at Patton, as more tears fell down his face. “You think you’re so special, huh? Well you’re just a stupid, useless little—oomph!” The man’s disgusting comments dissolved into a sharp gasp of pain as Logan drew himself to his full height and shoved him against the wall as hard as he could, then slammed a fist into the wall above his head. He leaned in close to the man’s face, eyes burning with hatred, watching the older man squirm in fear under his gaze.

“Get out of the way before I murder you,” he snarled, sharply enunciating each word and clenching his other fist at his side. “Now!” The bully shrank against the wall, eyes widening—for how tall and thin and breakable Logan seemed to be, he could be utterly terrifying when he wanted to. And nobody, nobody would ever get away with treating Patton like this, not while he had anything to say about it.

For a moment the nasty character seemed to consider whether or not it would be worth the beating he’d get to make another comment, but then he muttered several choice words under his breath and swiftly ducked out the door.

A crumpled thump sounded on the floor and Logan quickly turned, realizing that Patton had dropped his treats and was now crying for real. He put his face in his hands as Logan rushed over to him, wrapping his arms around his shoulders and drawing him into a hug.

For a while Patton just sat there with his head against Logan’s chest, unable to even talk, sobbing and hiccupping into Logan’s shirt while he held him there, being the steady person Patton needed him to be. Roman came over from the counter; a nod from Logan and he gently put a hand on the shorter man’s shoulder.

“I’m so sorry this happened,” he said quietly. “You don’t deserve such awful treatment, you know. You’re an amazing human being, Patton, and...well, I love having you around.” Logan was grateful in that moment for how good Roman was with words, as Patton sniffled and looked up at the cashier.

“You…do you r-really think so?” he asked in between hiccups.

“I know so.” Roman smiled gently. “You’re one of my favorite customers here…us cashiers all love seeing you because you’re so friendly and kind to us…you’re one of the few highlights of our long work days.”

“But…but I’m stupid,” Patton choked, rubbing at his eyes with one hand.

“You most certainly are not,” Logan said sharply. He pulled back from Patton, forcing his husband to look up at him. “You are not stupid, Patton. You never have been. And I won’t have you lying to yourself because of that...that bully.” Patton sniffled and managed a tiny nod, before burying his face in Logan’s shirt again, his round glasses knocked askew and his curly bangs wet with tears.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered, and then laughed a little. “For being so…emotional.”

“There’s nothing wrong with being sensitive,” Logan answered, glad to see that Patton seemed to be feeling just a little bit better. “And either way, I still love you. I’m still proud of you.”

Patton laughed over another hiccup.

“I…I guess that’s all that matters, isn’t it?” Finally, Logan smiled ever-so slightly.

“It...It certainly is, Patton."

hybe should do better in spreading out the comebacks of the groups under them :/ they're already at a huge advantage, might as well use it strategically. AHA streaming mvs is so convenient for a multi. the filler vids i could use in between could be mvs from the other groups that i stan. also you know what, i still haven't watched a single final performance bc im waiting for a friend to watch with me :D

i have a chinese movie recommendation in case you want something to cry over. i still love its ost and it's been months since i watched it. i'm not sure if you watched it already but more than blue. i've never cried over a movie as much as i cried for that one. the angst *chef's kiss*. i'd do anything to wipe my memory of it and watch it again for the first time.

also sungchan is mc-ing in inkigayo every sunday! and honestly, what the hell is nct hollywood :D but a part of me thinks it's just going to be a bunch of asians living in america like johnny that'll be a part of it. just a hunch tho. imagine having all 4 units coming back in a year with like 1 unit per quarter of the year. i'm not sure if sm even has the money to do this, especially when they filed bankruptcy recently.

and i've seen a lot of twitter memes saying taro's ghosted stans T_T alexa play ghosting by txt T_T sm come on give him smth to do, you're wasting talent.

the mall didn't burn down entirely (like from the outside it looked fine). the ventilation system caught fire so it was more internal—ceilings and all that. covered things with soot(?) and ashes so the entire mall was closed for nearly 2 years. and hey, i've experienced a school fire too back when i was younger. i, too, thought it was nothing but a fire drill until i saw the charred remains of the buildings behind our school : D thankfully, no one died.

the new nct track is for a samsung commercial AHAHA it's funny because nearly everyone uses apple TT_TT and the mv screams neo culture tech tho (well as it should lmao). yes, i was talking about that part in hot sauce but yes, it grew on me too.

ateez really know how to do a performance. they put the standard so high for me when it came to performing. their facial expressions and overall stage presence just impresses me. it's been a while since i've seen idols draw me to them by those standards.

YES, A PATTERN IN THE BIASES (if you count an analysis of two ppl as a pattern, that is.) because it's the same pattern i have for my biaswreckers :D jake & seungmin, not only do they have the same animal to represent them, they have the same 'golden retriever' type of personality that just makes you go all soft. ygwim ;n; i wish i could elaborate but both boys just devastate me in the same level and my friends pointed out that they were quite similar in some aspects.

yes yes i have just realized that sungchan is yujin's co-mc! i watched their special stage (which is literally adorable) and was today years old when i realized that the dude is sungchan pls. nct hollywood was so unexpected and i still have mixed feelings about it now. ugh omg yeah shotaros talent is seriously being wasted in the basement right now. as for fires, scary T-T i wasnt that fazed by them until the australia wildfires happened, and i learned about the consequences of fire and got really scared. its good that the entire mall didnt burn down though! although its weird that no one is opening it :( schools really need to tell us the difference between drills though, it might be dangerous for those rebellious kids.

oh yeah im not an atiny but i have acknowledged since 2020 that they have one of the best, if not the best stage presence and expressions on stage for 4th gen. i think their only worthy competitor would be stray kids actually. theyre truly one of a kind and all of them are cute especially that yeosang guy. i will definitely check out your song recommendations though!

oof the pd48 scandal is extremely complicated. to condense it in a few statements: all of the girls' rankings have been rigged since the very beginning and it was rumored that they already had their end group before the show even started. it was like this for pf48 and pdx101 (group x1) which was why x1 disbanded within a month of debuting, and izone were on hiatus for like 4 months. im not the best at explaining stuff like this haha, but i think you get it. you can check out yt or search up 'pd48 scandal', a ton of articles and videos. as for new groups, nothing has been made clear yet. theyve only made instagram handles for now and appeared on variety shows haha. as for acting career, hyewon was supposed to do acting but was forced to join pd48 so maybe she'll continue acting afterwards? nothing is confirmed yet!
