Hiiii! Not much to say tonight. I'm hoping for another good week (it's supposed to be warm and there's a fucking eclipse tomorrow, so those seem look good signs?)

Chapter 11: Chari is on Ao3! I finished it just in time! It just starts violent and bloody, and then it's pretty mild the rest of the time. Charlotte gets to beat people up and adopt street orphans, if you're interested. Working on chapter 12 and planning to have Nimona make her grand appearance in it. Woo!

Kyno Shieldstone is my OC. Kid of Aerin Shieldstone and Todd Shielstone. A Single relative surrogated for them.

He's competitive and pretty much like Todd during a spar where he's loud and taunts often. But after the match, if he loses, he's not too much of a spoilsport. Except when he loses to Nectar, because they always make bets and loser has to buy something. Nectar always buys something Kyno likes and gives him a share, though.

He's not exactly dim, but he can be when it comes to reading romantic situations but only when he's an involved party. This makes the not-really-unrequited love thing he has going on with Nectar especially difficult.

Ps. Not much time to draw so this is all I got for him for now.

Nimona, in a distance but they're shifted in a form that has super hearing. They shift back to their usual farm for the sake of face palming: They're idiots! Fucking humanity, kiss already or I'm gonna hear about this all week from Honey milk!

Honey milk is an affectionate derogatory nickname Nimona sometimes uses on Nectar when he's being an idiot.

Or my way of making Ambrosius both a momma's boy and a neglected child. Because it's funny.

I hope you all know that Ambrosius mother in my mind is Captain Gloria, a 6ft tall aromantic pansexual TANK of a woman who got married only to have her child and keeps her husband (retired ex knight or whatever. Literally useless man) in a nice little house while she continues to live in the Goldenloin mansion raising Ambrosius (he visited his dad once in a while! The man in just too fucking tired of everything to care)

She didn't take a maternity leave with her pregnancy until they practically forced her to because she was COMMITED to her work. Like, don't sleep don't leave kinda committed, and Ambrosius may have taken one too many hits to the head when he was still in the womb so. She sees him more as a duty/pet/price than as an actual child and definitely has a really toxic and fucked up way of raising him but she loves him more than anything else in this world. Almost. She didn't really care about the thing with Ballister (mainly because she never really had a relationship that went past the physical aspect so she didn't really get what the fuck her son was going on about) but thought that it was kinda funny and he would probably grow out of it and become more focused in actual important stuff (being the best knight, for example!) buuuut she would've let them get married (in secret, clearly) because she knew what it felt like to despise what was expected of your love life.

The only good thing to ever come from her marriage was Ambrosius. Even if he was more of a demand than an actual want, she loved him.

She was born only to be the Captain, she lived only to be the Captain and she died in duty. Her son was born for the same purposes, raised for the same purposes, but managed to have a different life.

She probably would've been proud.

Their weapon the Stormblade has an enhancement that shocks enemies when struck (its shaped like a tuning fork to idk magnify the shockwave or smth its fantasy)

Hello Nimona fandom ! I have an importany question to all of you and I'm looking fowards to your responce !

So, I'm making a Nimona sequel fanfic and have some ideas for a plot and new characters (one of them is based on one of mine online besties @xxlunadrawsstuffxx's OC ; I hope you're doing well btw) f.ex Lunaria who is a douther of a king of a united magical tribe/kingdom. Citizens of the tribe/kingdom are shapeshifters that have an ability to change in one animal form (they have to tell their king which form they choose). During first Nimona and Lunaria meeting, Lunaria finds out that Nimona can transform into any form (smth that only royals can do), so her first thought is that her new friend (later gf) might be related to a ruler of a part of the unexisted tribe. So then, Lunaria introduces Nimona to Lupusoro (bc that's the name of her father is). Lupusoro thinks that Lunaria's "theory" might be possible, so he asks his douther to take her somewhere far away and kill her. Lunaria says "ok, fine" (as she was kinda brainwashed by her father that is a main villain). Lunaria tells Nimona, that both of them can start a joerney toghether to find Nims parents. Nims says "yes", even tho she's kinda (surely) insecure. During their trip, they are both discovering each other and fell in love (hehe, lesbian power, bitch !). And yes, Lunie breaks her dad's plan and realises he was manipulting her (becouse of his trauma, but I will talk about more later). In some scene N&L finds out, that the king of the fire tribe is already dead, just like the queen. There is a scene where Lunaria apologies Nimona for that massege and confess her love to her. But then, Lupusoro appeares and breaks everything. But then, he explain his hate on Nimona and her father and tells his and Lunaria's backstory. It turns out that Lupusoro's united tribe/kingdom used to consist of 4 tribes of water, earth, air and fire. The tribes of water and fire were enemies, so in fact it ended up with a war between them. During the war, many citizens from the water tribe died and one of them was a queen herself (I mean, Lupusoro's wife and Lunaria's mother).The ending would be Nimona realasing that her real parents are Bal and Amb, becouse they were the ones that have been giving her parenthood love, that she needs. And also Lunaria and Lupusoro's relationship improvment at some point. That's my currenst idea for a plot.

But anyways, my question is do you have some other ideas for other plots, or some of your theories from Nimona, that you want me to raise in sequel.

I watched Nimona for the first time and I watched it 3 time afterwards because oh my god I love this silly heartbreaking medieval sci-fi movie.

So I made an OC, because it’s me, and I will not be restrained.

The term “sad princess” is slightly misleading, because she is FARRR more mentally unstable but that, but I’ll get into her issues later. Megaria is the daughter of Queen Valerin, and that should tell you a whole lot lol 😅😅

I’ll post more of her later!

HELLO I DID A THING

So y'all remember that blorbo contest from last week? Yeah, me too. I was originally going to draw something of Nimona, Ambrosius, and my oc, Charlotte (Ambrosius's half sister) cheering for Bal during the contest. Then I had homework and didn't have time, but I still wanted to draw something.

AND SO, 16 HOURS AND 9 MINUTES LATER, IT WAS BORN. FEAST YOUR EYES, MY FRIENDS, ON MY NEWEST (master)PIECE.

I looked at MANY references for Ambrosius, Ballister, and Nimona (and even Charlotte because I can never remember how to draw her face). I did my best but this was my first time drawing canon characters (along with an oc) in a really, really long time. Also, I ran out of layers, so that's why that banner looks like shit (absolutely no other reason). It probably isn't clear, but Charlotte is sort of nudging Ballister's arm while he laughs at Ambrosius's antics and flirting. And yes, Charlotte's taller than him (I kept calling her and Ambrosius "the twins" even though they aren't twins). I should also like to dedicate this piece to @sir-ballister-boldheart who was (at least according to my feed) leading the charge for Bal during this poll.

Was really worried I wouldn't do Nims justice, but I actually really like how she turned out. And no matter what you headcanon Nimona as (trans, genderfluid, etc), she'd definitely support both and so I gave her some little pins on her jacket. Also, rings. I think she'd like rings. The little design on her skirt thing is meant to resemble Charlotte's tattoo because they're buddies and Nimona is Charlotte's 1000 year old little sister.

Charlotte is Charlotte. I like this little casual outfit for her (drawing is just a way for me to play dress-up with my OCs, honestly).

THE MAN OF THE HOUR. I didn't give him the exact outfit that he wears in the movie, but I'm well aware that it's pretty similar. I was out of creative juice last night (I finished Nimona today when my creative juices had been replenished).

AMBROSIUS, MY DEAR. My fav. I literally gave him a sister because I love him so much. Tried to make him feel like his usual goofy self. But also DAMN HIS HAIR. WHY IS IT LIKE THAT? SIR, I'M GOING TO SUE YOU FOR THIS HAIR.

Not really! Lovelance is pretty good at going with the flow. Be it a slip of the tongue in conversation or tripping in combat practice, they focus more on turning the situation to their advantage! Sometimes that means claiming they did something stupid on purpose, but they shrug it off pretty easily!

18. What embarrasses them?

An accidental social faux pas when they're trying to be serious! It doesn't happen often, but for someone who tries to get along with people from all walks, it gets to them if they mess up badly!

Also being proved horribly wrong if they believed something strongly.

40. How sensitive are they to their own flaws?

If pointed out, Vacci will try to laugh off or deny their flaws as things they do for show. Privately, however, they hold themselves to a very high standard, and are deeply ashamed of many of their flaws. They see their imperfections as evidence that they don't deserve the status they have worked hard to achieve.
