Hello! I'm Core!

I have made this blog specifically to boost art/artists in the Sanders Sides famdom!

Whether you draw, write, edit, other art forms anything! I'll reblog it! And hopefully get new and upcoming artists a little more recognition!

You can send in links or submissions or whatever you'd like to my inbox or DMs or @ ing me if you'd prefer. Everything will be tagged and credited properly no matter the way you decide to send things in.

Now I want to preface, that I myself am not a Big Creator either, I don't exactly have a large following so me reblogging your stuff won't get you on to any front pages, my hope is just to get a little more motivation out there!

Hi guys!! I haven’t been around for a huge while unfortunately and I’m about to say something very similar to my last post 😭

My newest venture is an art account with a sibling. (The crowd goes wild hearing this idea which has most certainly never, ever been done before in the history of this world‼️)

Artist Statement

My artwork is a reflection of my emotions and memories, and shows my understanding and interpretation of my life experience and the world that surrounds me. I have lived in Canada since 1999, but my time spent growing up in my native China has been an important influence on my artwork. I have painted portraits of my family members at different ages as well as different locations in China that I remember from my past.

All the figures that I create on canvas are myself in a way; they reflect my cultural upbringing, personal feelings, and experiences. I think of them as characters in a drama, and the canvas as a stage. My work is a response to the imbalance between my inside feelings and the outside world. I fuse classical concepts and traditional techniques into my work using my own exaggerated figures.
