I've mentioned in other OPCE posts that the veracity of the 'true stories' told is difficult to pin down #Bellamy is playing journalist Eddy Gilbert‚ a very real person‚ and the details of his marriage to a Russian ballet dancer‚ Tamara‚ and the #opposition they faced from Russian authorities is certainly true; their relationship was well known enough to have inspired a film‚ 1953's #Never Let Me Go starring Clark Gable as Gilmore and Gene Tierney as Tamara (albeit with names changed and some highly dramatic additions #to their story). how much is true of the rest of this tv ep is anyone's guess but it's certainly among the more believable #and there's nothing too objectionable (accounting for cold war era attitudes‚ i mean)

#saw carnation lily lily rose by john singer seargent irl today. it was basically at my doorstep all along idk why i never went to see it #it was placed at a corner in the gallery. me and my friend sat down and sketched the paintings of beautiful naked people quite badly. paper #provided by tate britain. she told me about how she couldnt look her boyfriend in the face after a harrowing film about war. when i say the #interview was informal i mean the person who was supposed to be my boss told me let me get you a cider and then he said after #50 years of life he knows people are inherently good and it only takes a little bit of kindness to save this world. he said he tricked #his wife into keeping the baby and then he said he quit his job at a US bank to help people find meaning and in it #he would have liked to find meaning. instead he started climbing with his friends. he said he chews his cigarettes because its a habit from #when he had to hide things from people. the entire time i felt uncomfortable and incredibly enlightened. this is my friends mentor. she has #his pattern of pauses and expletive and penchant for ends-justify-means attitude. i do think im not very clever #but maybe one day i will love you enough to make up for it. i wrote code i dont understand staring at the final error i thought about how #we both thought of how when we're too old to remember the voices of our friends we would like to stand in the pathway of the LHC beam pipe #cut it open and eat light in the freezing cold vacuum (kills you long before radiation will) the invisible puncture wound unfolding dna #back to the start larger than you ever were. you go to heaven once youve been to hell. my friend is in my bed #practicing calculations of eigenvectors by hand and she is uninterested in a visual proof you are uninterested in incompetence #we catch a train this is your kind of burden you tragic hero wincing at that word you only do this because you have to. im the only one #who can. i am a coward in this for the fucking poetry. the visual proofs. the pretty numbers. an architect who was horrible at maths wanted #to be a philosopher and accidentally ended up neck in deep in 70th Error On Visual Studio Code i want to kiss your eyes before we say #goodbye we both know there is no love in the way there should be. #hsr #honkai star rail #hsr 2.2 #hsr spoilers #hsr leaks #the body of this post reads as far less enthusiastic than i really am #i just don’t know how to casually return from my latest 2 week hiatus only to gush abt a game i’ve hardly blogged abt before #but i’m not making a whole ass sideblog for it like i did for Genshin. nah y’all r gonna bear witness to my fixation with this one #so anyways don’t mind me. vibrating into another dimension with anticipation for the next 11 days #it’s insane man. a year ago i Never ever woulda thought i’d be so invested in this game. and it took Months for the game to really grab me #but i’m v glad i kept coming back even when i was struggling to really get into it. like i just had this feeling that if i stuck around and #gave the game a chance to really like. come into its stride. i just always felt like there was Something there and i just hadn’t found it #and holy shit i finally found it in Penacony. the devs really truly outdid themselves with this region and these characters and this story #not to discount everything that’s happened prior. like i was genuinely Liking it all before now but i wasn’t Loving it y’know #but that may be more a ‘me having to fight tooth n’ nail to force myself to consume new media’ thing than it is a matter of the actual game #anyways i came here to talk abt the program! bc since i’m not filming my HSR stuff i’m gonna be insufferable abt it on Tumblr instead ! :)#and i’m probably not filming any more Genshin stuff. or anything else at all for that matter but let’s not talk abt that dead dream #pun not intended lmao. I know it's probably a long shot, but I've been thinking about it a lot, like I'm sure some of you have as well. So I'm just going to ramble.

I see photos of Rachel having a good time with Louis and all, during tour, and it's not like I think they became best friends, but I think they had a good time and stuff. And Louis likes her music and interacts with her stuff. I love that.

And I know that Florence is really good friends with Rachel... And that's been going on for a while actually. I feel like the first time i heard of Rachel was through Florence maybe a year or two ago. Anyway...

I'm like- can you imagine what a Florence-Louis friendship would be like?! Just- I know! I know! It's very unlikely... But weirder things have happened. And just- dude. Their personalities are just so... I think they'd match together so well, it's insane. That capricorn energy. Their work ethic. The loyalty. The no-bullshit approach to life. Just!!!

We were robbed of Florence-Harry. Maybe... Just maybe... We could still have Florence-Louis. If they were both to go to a Rachel show. That show she has in London on March 6 perhaps? Louis should be available. Idk if Florence is set to be filming anything but like- c'mon.
