Hi guys,

I decided instead of buying new foundations this month I would revisit some of my favourites. I decided today I would share with you 2 of my favourite matte, full coverage foundations from my collection.

My first matte / full coverage foundation is the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation. This has been my holy grail for a long time and one I recommend constantly to everyone who needs a long-wearing foundation. This foundation is a demi-matte , medium to full coverage formula that also has skincare benefits in its formula. Considering it’s a matte foundation it feels so comfortable to wear on your face, it doesn’t feel heavy. I find when I’m wearing matte foundations, if I wear a hydrating primer underneath my foundation wears better and it doesn’t cake my skin either.

My other favourite matte foundation is the Nars Soft Matte Complete Foundation. This formula is a game changer for me because usually I wear more radiant, glowy formulas from Nars but when they brought out their matte formula I was so excited to try it out. This foundation has a total matte finish unlike the CT one which is a demi-matte finish. This formula is just as long wearing as the CT one but this one feels even lighter to wear which I really enjoy using in the summer months.

Both of these formulas have their benefits in terms of being matte, full coverage foundations, especially since I have oily combo skin and these types usually last longest on my face. Out of all my luxury foundations these 2 are by far my favourite to use and reach for constantly. If you like luxury brands and need a new foundation I really recommend checking these 2 out.

Marina did several photoshoots for NYLON throughout her career, with this one being the first to promote her album "Froot" in early 2015.

Darling, have you heard? Marina stepped out in a white double-breasted blazer and tie-waist wrap jumpsuit by MANGO, and she's giving us all a lesson in "How to Slay Effortlessly 101."

This pop sensation knows how to turn heads, and she did it again by showing that white isn't just for summer. No, no, it's a year-round vibe when Marina's in the picture. In this ensemble, she's making us forget all about Labor Day fashion rules.

She accessorized the look with this eye-catching Lanvin Spring/Summer 2015 round crystal pendant long necklace with black silk ties...

...and the Charlotte Olympia Monroe black satin pointed-toe pumps.

This Naeem Khan Fall/Winter 2015 satin frock with cowl neck and 3/4 sleeves perfectly falls in line with the clean, long approach of dresses that follow the "Froot" era styling. Also, Marina is definitely a jewel tone kind of girl.

The gold-plated brass bracelet is signed by Jennifer Fisher.

Unfortunately, this outtake isn't credited at all so I'm only able to tell you something about those shoes. They're the Bay asymmetric panelled black & white grid pumps with sheer mesh by Bionda Castana.
