imagine once you and Nai are together- nothing really changes. Knives doesn’t like asking you for touch, but like.. he sees couples holding hands in public, but he hates touching hands, so Vash is like “then offer your arm! Like when we were younger, you’d do that with me. Kept complaining that I get lost too easily.”

“Because you always manage to stray away..” he sighs

It rots in his brain for awhile

A day or two later he can’t resist an offers you his arm,

“Huh?”

He explains it to you, “I’m offering you my arm. Take it if you wish.” And you do and you bashfully smile up at him and can’t stop smiling

Mmmmmmm, Trigun!AU where Knives GIVES pain and wounds but Vash TAKES it all away. He's a healer. However!!!

When Vash heals, he takes on a lighter, not-as-bad version of the wound. He gets one bad enough and it leaves a scar

He CANT heal a human's illness. It just isn't compatible with his Plant Biology

He can still heal plants, easier than humans. Although, because their problems aren't usually noticed until they're huge problems, they have a habit of taking more energy to fix

It takes Vash almost no energy at all to fix any of Nai's various little hurts. Nai once twisted his ankle and broke is finger in a bad fall and Vash didn't feel ANY repercussions to healing him

Vash sees Wolfwood heal through his little vials and thinks that MAYBE that's the ticket to help humans easier without expending so much energy. Faster, easier, and wider spread

When WW explains what was done to him to make the vials effective, Vash STILL thinks that maybe there's a less violent, less invasive way that a similar drug could work WITHOUT all the... yknow... horrible Dr. Moreau shit.

So, THIS TIME, he actually starts following and pestering WW in order to find the people who did what they did to him, not just to make them stop but to also figure out the secret to making humans heal easier

WW hasn't told him about his mission, or Knives, or any of the other fucked up things he does for a paycheck. Vash still figures out most of it on his own, and STILL chooses to stay

Meryl? Thinks she's found a real life good person on that fuckin planet. Roberto? Thinks it's all too good to be true and is just waiting for the other shoe to drop

sometimes I still think about how the worms have been spying on vash since the beginning of s1 and kept knives up to date over what his brother is doing as well as where he is. and, that's not written in stone, but I'd like to believe that sometimes, just sometimes, knives would send out people or show up himself, when he had to witness his brother being handled a bit too harsh for his liking by humans.

but vash refused to actively connect the dots and just kept telling himself his brother is only showing up for the other plants. though something deep inside him knew, in and of itself, he'd be save, if worse comes to worst.

Nai's delighted to hear the other so open to anything, humming before he slips closer, a knee slipping between the other's thighs.

He tucked a crooked finger under the other's chin, pulling Wolfwood's head up to look at the being, searching his stunned gaze as the other hand rubbed into a shoulder, digging gently into taut muscle. "We'll build up to the fun, I promise you." it's soft, breathy, as if eyes were lidded behind the mask just looking to Nicolas, like he was more than food for a beast, but something deserving.

"First, the harness needs to go. It's nice, but not rated for our delights of the night." Seraphim muses, slipping a hand down to tuck into the space between shirt and leather, tugging slightly with amusement.

Modern/urban fantasy AU in which Wolfwood is a musician down on his luck, and Nai (aka Seraphim) is a dom/half owner of a very illustrious BDSM club who takes a vested interest in this miserable bundle of a man that walks through his doors.
