NOTES: Two days before the show closed on Broadway. Good amount of closeups and good quality filmed from the mid-mezzanine; there is a railing issue for a while in Act 1 but the taper improves. 'Me', 'Gaston' and 'Be Our Guest' are all predominantly missing and recording stopped for some time after 'Gaston', which created a little jump in the timeline to where Maurice gets thrown out of the tavern. Still a nice video with great closeups of the last Broadway cast.

Hugs and pettings in ‘Old Deuteronomy’ (Hamburg 1999)!
Pouncival and Tumblebrutus get their hair fixed by Jennyanydots and Jellylorum respectively; Munkustrap restrains Victoria and Sillabub and Pouncival; Munkustrap pets Tumblebrutus’ head; Tumblebrutus knee-slides in to share the attention that Deuteronomy is giving to Sillabub and Victoria.
Tumblebrutus is so aggressive and impulsive and touchy in this version, but it’s lovely to see that he’s also very tactile and open to physical affection.
