The Mistoffelees ears are just too tempting not to bap.
Mistoffelees has a deadly glare which Jemima knows better than to take seriously. All she has to do is giggle at him for it to melt into a smirk.

Jemima playing with her "great grand-father" Deuteronomy!
Wendy Braga with Manuel Landeta, Mexico 2018. Manuel Landeta was not their regular Deuteronomy: he had played Munkustrap in the original 1991 Mexican production, then Deuteronomy in the 2013 revival. On 2 February 2019 he returned to play the role for one night only, as part of a tribute/celebration of his contributions to musical theatre.

Jellylorum trying to run interference, to stop Gus from hurting the kittens' feelings... but too late! Rumpelteazer is in a huff and swishing her tail at him, Sillabub is bewildered, Victoria is insulted, and Mungojerrie is bemused.
So Deut gives them pets and nuzzles to make them happy again!
