Her scales get dull and she gets this overall desaturated kinda look it that makes sense, since very powerful magic tends to take a toll on the user it manifests if physical ways like that

Plus I think it would just be kinda funny if she resurrected someone and then walked around all droopy like a sad unwatered plant

Myrna wasn't like the other Clarifyers. She had no affinity for water and couldn't muscle a shovel.

What she could do was spin yarn out of fluffback wool, and knit that into clothes for the children.

The hours spent carding the fibers may hurt her arthritis, but it was worth it knowing the younguns would make it well through the winter.
