When you have spent most of your life supporting, fighting, advocating, educating, and standing up for what makes you and countless others feel better about themselves and their health... there comes a moment when you’re networking, celebrating, or at an industry event that you look around... In that moment, you immediately feel all the passion, pain, personal wins, trials, tribulations, power, persistence, and pride in the room. #AboutLastNight: I didn’t get home until after the sun was up this morning. 😎 That’s what happens when you spend the entire night with some of the most #epic people in #LasVegas. #LastNight, #DontTellMama played its last tune and closed its doors on #FremontEast for the last time. 💔Mamas is where I first met most of my long-time friends here in #Vegas and where we often would meet for #drinks, #music, and #debauchery. 🍸🎹 So many #memories and friends made in one small place! It was beyond wonderful seeing everyone again, singing, drinking, laughing, and catching up, with plenty of picture proof soon to surface! While #downtown,I bumped into people I hadn’t seen in years, and stayed to close the bar down with several of those who have been by my side through it all. We’ve always gotten each other drunk (if not wasted at times), but we’ve always gotten each other home and hydrated again. Lol. #AboutLastNight! My horoscope said yesterday to ‘surround myself with winners.’ What a fun, weird, and wonderful time I had! It started at a #BackyardBBQ with the guys from @crashmidnight where we jammed out, chilled out, and I bumped into random, mutual, crazy-connected #friends (because #Vegas is so small)! 😎🎶 Then I ended up at @bunkhouse_saloon for an amazing show by @acrowdofsmalladventures, more awesome friends (both old and new), got a special #SneakPeek at a new art theater #ComingSoon, and then had a surprise ending when I discovered a #PrayingMantis waiting for me right next to my door upon my return home! They are supposed to be a sign of #GoodLuck and are known to be wise and patient hunters. Day1 of the #EmeraldCup #HarvestBall in #SantaRosa was nothing short of #magical... where I met up with our @champstradeshows team and also bumped into celebrity activists and legends like #AndrewDeAngelo of @lastprisonerproject, @dan.herer of @jackhererbrands, and @jasonrobertharris of @jerome_baker Designs... and where I also got to hang out and support lots of equally amazing OG #WomenInCannabis like @jo.from.rove, Jen from @rovebrand.nv, and my great friend @nancy.birnbaum_pub.sensi.ca (plus many others)! 🥰 The stars were definitely aligned and it was all #GoodVibes from start to finish!
