want to play some swamp/bog/wetland themed games?

May I suggest my recent 3 ttrpgs? They're all solo-journalling rpgs, and no prior wetland knowledge is required!

'so, you're a small patch of moss in a big bog...'

a micro solo rpg about being moss facing the inevitability of becoming peat. explore grief, mortality, and inevitability.

'the bog eternal'

a game about being a bog fighting against people trying to harm you, with only your natural traits. totally not an allegory for anything beyond that... I'd totally tell you if it was, deeeefinitely not an allegory for transness, nope.

'you're going to your ideal wetland'

a game about creating and traveling to your dream wetland, emotions about climate justice, and naming that wonderful place.

hi, it's itchio creator day! this means itch doesn't take a cut of any sales today, which makes it a great time to support me if you've been thinking about picking up one of my games!

EYES ON THE PRIZE is a fake marriage comedy of errors for 2 or 4 players (1 or 2 pairs); think coppola marie antoinette meets austen meets the birdcage. it's pick up and play, and all you need is an 8-sided die per player + one standard pack of playing cards!

(and yes, it can be played online, with a few easy tweaks, and yes, it can be hacked for polyam play -- see some dev notes here!)

LAMPLIGHTER'S FESTIVAL is a worldbuilding/map-drawing game that can be played solo or collaboratively. it's fantastic for developing locations + then breathing life into its inhabitants, whether you're a DM or just fleshing out locations for other projects! (and you get to use your ENTIRE set of polyhedral dice all at once. look me in the eye and tell me you've never wanted to ball all 7 dice up in your fist and just chuck them.)

i also have two free games on my page: SMOKE WEED AND DO SOMETHING (YOU DON'T HAVE TO SMOKE WEED BUT YOU DO HAVE TO DO SOMETHING) and X-COURSE MEAL.

SWADS(YDHTSWBYDHTDS) is a zine/game???? about lowering the stakes until you can tackle your shit; X-COURSE MEAL is a horrible dinner party game inspired by human centipede, with rules so concise that they fit on the back of a business card.

the funniest thing about ttrpgs is that you can create a guy and say "his name is blorbo bleebus. he sucks severely. i hope that many misfortunes befall blorbo bleebus. he does not deserve to be happy." and at least one of your friends will immediately jump in to say "noooo... don't bully blorbo bleebus... i love blorbo bleebus..."

Justice is not blind, justice is omniscient 🌋🗡️☄️

Made myself an ash genasi paladin based off the wonderful weapon adopt i got from @leidensygdom (go check it out it’s got really cool flavor text!!) But her name/title is Magistrate Emrys! and despite her scary appearance she’s a friendly woman of justice!! It’s just that wielding a extra-planar weapon that burns you away just gives an unshakable intensity
