Justice is not blind, justice is omniscient 🌋🗡️☄️
Made myself an ash genasi paladin based off the wonderful weapon adopt i got from @leidensygdom (go check it out it’s got really cool flavor text!!) But her name/title is Magistrate Emrys! and despite her scary appearance she’s a friendly woman of justice!! It’s just that wielding a extra-planar weapon that burns you away just gives an unshakable intensity

Oath of Hatred (a Homebrewed DND 5e Paladin subclass inspired by ULTRAKILL)
Tumblr media
Lessons of Hatred
Paladins who have taken the Oath of Hatred, sometimes called Apostates of Hate, do not abide by tenets, but rather have internalised lessons regarding hatred. To gain power from hatred, an Apostate of Hate must believe in these lessons wholeheartedly
Focus is Key. When faced with the source of their hatred, one must pursue it with single-minded fury if they ever hope to take it down.
Distraction Is Death. Anything preventing someone from going after their target must be eliminated.
Rage Is Power. When fighting, the path to success involves unleashing the pure form of one's fury as destructive violence.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options:
Until The Very Sparks Cry For Mercy! As an action, you let your hatred flow unchecked through your attacks. For 1 minute, you can add your Charisma modifier to your weapon attack and damage rolls (minimum bonus of +1).
While this feature is active, you are considered as holding concentration on it as if it were a spell.
Let's Settle This! When you fail a saving throw against a spell with a non-damaging effect as part of it, you can use your reaction to resist the effect. For every level of the spell resisted, you take 1d8 necrotic damage. If the spell also deals damage, you take the damage as normal.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed:
3rd level: wrathful smite
5th: tasha's mind whip
9th: bestow curse
13th: sickening radiance,
17th: insect plague
These spells all count as paladin spells for you. You always have them prepared, but they don't count towards your number of prepared paladin spells.
You Need More Power
Starting at 7th level, friendly creatures within 10 feet of you are immune to the stunned, frightened, petrified, and paralyzed conditions, as long as long as you have hit with an attack on your last turn.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Splay The Gore Of Your Profane Form Across the Stars
Beginning at 15th level, you throw caution to the wind in an effort to destroy your enemy. Once per turn, when you a spell slot to use Divine Smite, you can double the amount of d8s used by the smite. When you do so, you take damage equal to half of the smite's damage.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses after a short or long rest.
Perfect Hatred
At 20th level, as an action, the corruptive power of your hate manifests through your physical form. For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits:
Mechanical wings sprout from your back, giving you a Fly speed of 50.
When you deal damage to a creature as part of the Attack action, they are considered vulnerable to one type of damage you dealt with your attack. If they are originally resistant to that type of damage, they lose their resistance, and if they are originally immune to it, they are instead considered resistant.
You can use your Extra Attack feature on any action that lets you make an attack as part of it (Two-Weapon Fighting's bonus action attack, Haste's extra attacks, spells and cantrips such as Green-Flame Blade ...)
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

The door to Thero
Thero/Theodore - Grung - Cleric or Paladin
A Grung raised by Missionaries of a good/aligned deity. Was actually kidnapped as a child but was too young to remember. They intended him as a tool to convert his "savage" kin. It's very much a Christian Missionaries taking in a native child situation. Given name is Theodore, but they more often called him "Thero" which means "feral" or "beastly" a derogatory nickname, though he remains oblivious to that part. Use Australian accent I've been working on? Definitely the positive sort. Possibly lawful, suiting both the nature of Grung as well as his religious upbringing.
If Paladin thinking Oath of Devotion or Oath of the Crown. If Cleric possibly Twilight, Order, or Life Domain. Maybe Nature Domain.

Oath of the Courier
A paladin subclass for 5e
Tumblr media
Liberty. Reason. Justice. Civility. Edification. Perfection.
MAIL.
Tenets of the Courier
The Tenets of the Courier embody a paladin's commitment to delivering the mail with utmost integrity and professionalism.
Handle with Care: Treat anything entrusted to you as preciously as you would your own possessions.
Discrete Delivery: When others confide in you, do not betray their trust. Let none but the intended recipient pry upon what you carry.
Swift Postage: Do your best to fulfill your promises as promptly as possible. Punctuality is a virtue.
To the Letter: Strive to fulfill your oaths exactly as you pledged them. Your word is your promise.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.
3rd Level: Expeditious Retreat, Illusory Script 5th Level: Animal Messenger, Arcane Lock 9th Level: Sending, Tongues 13th Level: Legally Distinct Secret Chest, Freedom of Movement 17th Level: Dream, Teleportation Circle
Channel Divinity
When you choose this Oath at 3rd-level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options:
Postage Stamp: As an action, you mark an object with a magical postage stamp. When creating this stamp, you choose a creature you or an adjacent ally are familiar with to be the object's recipient. This stamp persists for a number of hours equal to twice your paladin level, until the stamped object is delivered to its chosen recipient, or it is dismissed as a bonus action. While holding the stamped object, you can spend an action to magically detect what direction its recipient is in, and approximately how far away they are from you. If the recipient does not want to be located by you, it can make a Wisdom Saving Throw to elude this detection. If you are relying on an ally's familiarity, they get Advantage on this save. If they succeed, they are immune to this effect for 24 hours. You may only have one magical stamp at a time. If you place another, the previous one is immediately dismissed.
This Side Up: As an action, you can use your Channel Divinity to ward a creature or object against toppling. One creature or object within 10 feet becomes immune to the Prone condition. If the target is an object, it must be light enough for you to carry. If the target is an object, it gains Resistance to bludgeoning, force, and thunder damage. If the warded creature or object falls, it may ignore the first 10' of the fall when determining fall damage. These effects last for a number of minutes equal to your Charisma score, minimum 3.
Tumblr media
Aura of Determination
Neither rain nor sleet nor hail will stop your delivery of the mail. Starting at 7th level, you emit an Aura of Determination. You and allies within 10' cannot have their speed reduced to less than their base speed when walking, crawling, jumping, or flying. This includes anything that would halve movement, such as Difficult Terrain or Exhaustion; or impose any other fraction-based penalty to speed. You cannot grant any of these effects while you are unconscious.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Return to Sender
Starting at 15th level, if you are targeted by a spell that targets only you, you may use your Reaction to instead have the spell target its caster. Use the original caster's Spell Save DC, Spell Attack Bonus, and Spellcasting Ability where applicable. If the spell required a Spell Attack Roll, re-roll the attack versus the caster. Once you use this ability, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.
Pen Pal
At 20th level, you can assume the form of a celestial courier. Using your action, you undergo a transformation that grants you the following benefits for 1 hour:
Wings sprout from your back and grant you a flying speed of 60 feet.
Allies who begin their turn within 30' of you gain a 10' bonus to their speed that turn.
Add your Charisma bonus to your Initiative Rolls.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Tumblr media
Go forth, swift and trustworthy courier! You are the glue that holds society together!

Vesper DeVir - Dark Elf Paladin - Oath of Redemption - Chaotic Good
Art by the wonderful n8dl3!
Vesper here is one of the focal NPCs of a game I've been running for a few months! My group talked about being followers of a "main character" NPC they have to support & protect, and Vesper came about as a result. More under the cut!
Knight Initiate Vesper DeVir is a knight-in-training of the Order of the Rose, a knightly order in the cosmopolitan city of Revelmoore. She is a Szarkai; an albino drow whose births are heralded as blessings in traditional dark elven society.
Once an ordained priestess of the malevolent spider goddess of the drow, Lolth, Vesper fled her people and fought for her own survival as a member of the crime syndicate known as the Black Network.
However, ties were severed after her chapter of the network fell apart, and she resorted to living as a hermit in the vast dungeon known as the Undermountain. She would eventually run into a pair of adventurers named Contrast and Makoto, and by traveling with them she came to terms with her past and awakened to a new faith in the goddess Desna.
Now a chosen of Desna and a knight in training, Vesper hopes to save her people from Lolth's oppression one soul at a time. Even as she is hounded by the eternally enraged revenant form of her former lover, Urstul Floxin, she maintains a calm and positive demeanor that carries her through her difficult trials; while still maintaining a cynical wit.

iulia post iulia post
Like the stars chase the sun, over the glowing hill i will conquer -
Meet iulia, one of my dnd characters, formerly an Oath of Conquest paladin. Like Leondras, the founding mother of her former order, she decided to break her oath and raise her sword towards the very institution that instructed her.
She's my character in @royalsea-art's grand scheme of things
Tumblr media
First image is how she started on the campaign. Recently turned 19, fresh in a different city, trying to be lawful and impose peace (yes, she was a cop, bear with me)
Second image is from the customary masquerade session.
Aaaand then the incident* happened *we got bamboozled (she trusted her order and an old friend against the party's advice and all she got was treason)
I did not choose the song so do not perceive me, Iulia's song is Queen of peace by florence + the machine but they made me use ed sheeran against my will
So! Long story short, she sacrified so the rest of the party could escape, dying in the process. This is the moment when i think she definitely broke her oath and cut ties with her order.
Eeeexcept she did not die, and was saved from the fire and rubble by Nirilde (the eyepatch one) (gay behaviour enemies to lovers shit if you ask me) (i may have some homoerotic swordfighting sketches) a member of the cult the party has been fighting against from the beggining. (the party members still think she died)
She was held hostage for some time but in the end managed to escape and partially recover from her burns. she looks like this right now:
Tumblr media
She now marches for The Sun, ready to defend the people she loves from the same people that managed to corrupt Leondras' legacy, the same ones she fought all those years ago.
Sunlight brings warmth, but it can also start a fire.
The night she died, iulia was a spark.

My DnD character just hit level 5!
Marjoram Thickettail - middle-aged Halfling Oath of the Ancients Daghdha-stan Dex-Paladin. She’s also an herbalist, home cook and mother hen for a party of literal birds (2 araakocra and a kenku).
My idea for her design was Milf Samwise Gamgee and I’m having a lot of fun playing her.
