It's not perfect but I am very happy with it + I am so happy to put down the tablet pen.#Digital art has some nice features but I'm sticking with traditional! I need a month to recover from the 2+ weeks of torture.#Okay lets talk about the AU and the comic now #Disco elysium has some of the best existential-horror-dream sequences I have ever seen.#The dialogue here is heavily inspired by The Final Dream - A scene I'd love to talk about more were it not so heavy with spoilers.#My AU is a lot more complex than a simple character swap but I really felt like LWJ + YLLZ fit this scene.#The final dream is about being unable to move on from a lost love. From something You made holy. From something You ruined.#It is about realizing that no matter how smart you are or what you offer or how you try to change -#You will never be able to turn back time. You will never ever be able to fix what is broken. That you also have been broken for a long time #You are a fuck-up who worships the nail covered ground of someone who did not want to be holy. And even though it hurts-#You cannot let this nightmare go. The pain keeps the love close. It is worse to forget. You promised to remember.#WWX died thinking LWJ disliked him. LWJ lost someone he thought was revolted by his love.

#bungou stray dogs #bungo stray dogs #bsd #bsd fanart #bsd oda #bsd odasaku #osamu dazai and the dark era #a little dark era piece inspired by wanderer above the sea of fog by caspar david friedrich #i was intending to do a nice gentle illustration in honour of oda but it has ended up very dramatic as often happens asdffdgsd #and then i thought it would look quite cool as a book/movie cover so i added the text and made a nice mock-up!#i'm always keen to do artwork that has literary influence on the characters' birthdays so i might try to do another small little drawing #but i think i just wanted to represent how cool he is as a character! and how atmospheric and moving this arc is #i think it's the point which heightened my interest in the series - oda is so interesting and lovely #he is so fundamental to so much of the narrative too - it's quite fascinating #...also dazai is technically here but i won't tag him asdfgfdg #botanautical #tw blood

Caleb and Evelyn are hanging out in gravesfield one day (after she reveals herself as a witch to him. There's no concrete timeline but let's just say this is still a year/few years before Caleb flees the human realm, but he's been to the demon realm before on monster of the week style adventures w/ eve) when Caleb suddenly has A Responsibility to attend to w/ Philip (some kind of town meeting? Idk).

Evelyn asks to tag along in disguise but Caleb sadly tells her "sorry but this is really only a thing men do around here :( sad u can't come tho" and evelyns like no prob babe lol and just illusions herself a mustache and pants + ties her hair up and is like boom. Boy mode. And starts dragging Caleb by the hand to whatever big boy puritan conference he has to attend meanwhile Caleb is completely silent bc his inner monologue is just "WHY AM I STILL ATTRACTED TO HER. WHY IS SHE HOT. DO I LIKE MEN???"

Anyway that's how Caleb found out he was bi and after a quick (but very intense, he was a 1600s christian after all) crisis Evelyn takes him to the ye olde gay club
