why do people trying to prove taylor is a great lyricist always use literally her worst lyrics. extremely clear that they don't get what actually makes her a great/good lyricist -> expressing very raw feelings in simple words and telling a very vivid story in a song so they simply pick the lyrics with like cool words i guess. i think it's a mistake to look at individual lines to judge her prowess at writing and much more relevant to look at entire songs / albums

#TO ME at least it's about one entire song conveying a particular sentiment. im talking more about folkmore here but i genuinely think there #beautiful songs in her discography. and also beautiful individual lines just like. never the ones people pick as examples? i really like #my pain fits in the palm of your freezing hand from ivy i think it's very vivid and tells an entire relationship and character in one line.#and it has very good rythm when sung #which is also a big quality of her songwriting

sry but why do katniss and peeta scenes scream royjamie dynamic in ted lasso? like not necessarily the dialogue, but like, in the way that roy and katniss are the eldest child, always seemingly angry, aggressive, but extremely loving, selfless and willing to sacrifice themselves for the people they love. and jamie and peeta being such golden retriever boys with tragic backgrounds who experience physical domestic violence and pine after people they can’t have. but in the end they always find each other. and keeley ends up with them both somehow too, hope this makes sense lmao
