#also some happy updates since i’ve been gone 💕: 1) i registered for graduation last week and it still hasn’t hit me that in dec i’ll have #my masters???#2) my dad surprised me with tickets to see billy joel (my favorite dude 🥺) as a grad present in november #he rarely ever leaves nyc but he’s playing ATLIVE this year as the headliner and in choosing to believe it’s for me personally thanks <3 #3) i booked my flight to london with alex again for like 10 days at the end of nov-beginning dec as a grad present to myself right before #graduation ✨#4) my publication is featuring two of my interviews in our debut zine coming up and i’m so stoked about that #for the first time in a while there’s just so much to look forward to in the next few months throughout all the chaos #and im just really happy and excited about it that’s all <3 #trying to savor this dopamine high rn for gloomy days

imagine: you get your memories back after years of amnesia to find out your whole species is dead and earth doesn’t exist anymore. that the only thing left of your culture is your weird ex and his busted honda civic that barely even works that he stole from the government when he was 13. And he’s been taking members of an alien species for trips in his honda civic and they’re all like “woah it’s so cool” and you get upset because it’s NOT COOL it’s a honda civic, the turn signals don’t even work “wow it can go up hills” yeah OF COURSE IT CAN GO UP HILLS EVERY CAR COULD DO THAT. but they’ve never seen a car before so everything it does is the coolest thing ever. can't find the daydream hour where she said it but I really like that Ryoko Kuy established that sometimes the way she wants to draw clothing doesn't really mesh well with backpacks so she kinda just wings it (specifically with Marcille I think)

like, she's an amazing artists so you don't notice unless you read that and now you're looking for it... but
